Akshay Kumar is looking unstoppable at the moment. Despite having many films in the pipeline, the superstar has announced yet another project, titled Ram Setu on the auspicious occasion of Diwali which marks the return of Lord Ram to Ayodhya from his 14-year-long Vanvaas. ## The project will be directed by Abhishek Sharma and presented by Akshay's production house, Cape Of Good Films, and is produced by Aruna Bhatia and Vikram Malhotra.## Sporting a clean-shaven look, dressed in a casual shirt and cargo pants with a scarf around his neck, Akshay Kumar will be seen sporting slightly longer hair in Ram Setu. Amid the ongoing talks regarding the change in the captaincy of India's limited-overs side, former India cricketer-turned-commentator Aakash Chopra has come out in support of current Indian captain Virat Kohli and defended him by saying that the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper cannot be blamed for the franchise's poor performances. ## Recently, former Kolkata Knight Riders' captain, Gautam Gambhir had slammed Virat Kohli after RCB failed to break the jinx of winning the trophy yet again at this year's IPL. Gambhir said that it is time for Kohli to quit RCB's captaincy. He also opined that instead of Kohli, Rohit Sharma, who just won the 5th IPL title as captain for Mumbai Indians, should be given India's limited-overs captaincy. ## Disagreeing with Gambhir's statement, Chopra said that though Rohit is outstanding as the captain, he should not be given the leadership of the national side based on his success in the IPL. Former India captain and the current head of the National Cricket Academy (NCA), Rahul Dravid said that he is certainly set for the expansion of the T20 game and has batted for the shortest format of cricket to become an Olympic sport. ## Dravid, who recently participated in the virtual book launch of a new book "A New Innings", hosted by Rajasthan Royals owner Manoj Badale and cricket analyst Simon Hughes, however, added that for cricket to succeed in Olympics, it will need a certain kind of facility.## "I think it will be great if the T20 format of the game can become an Olympic sport. Obviously, it will come with its challenges. Also, cricket is a game that requires a certain kind of facility for it to be successful", Rahul Dravid said during the virtual seminar as quoted by ANI.## Giving the example of the recently concluded 13th season of the Indian Premier League, the legendary cricketer said that the major reason behind the success of the IPL 2020 was the quality of pitches that were on display throughout the season.## "We have seen in the just-concluded IPL, the success of IPL was on large part due to the quality of wickets… if you can get all of that right and get the facilities in place then why not. The book will be written in the first person, revealing the emotional challenges the actor faced while going all-out in helping the migrant workers. ## "People have been very kind and have lovingly named me a messiah. But I really do believe that I am no messiah. I simply do what my heart tells me to. It is our responsibility as human beings to be compassionate and help each other", Sonu shared.## The actor has not only helped migrant workers to reach their homes but also started an initiative to provide them jobs which they lost due to the covid-19 pandemic. ## "I want to thank god for making me a catalyst in helping the migrants. Government of India Brings OTT Platforms and Digital News Outlets Under I&B Ministry

Coming as a significant move, the governement of India has brought the OTT platforms, such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, SonyLIV, ZEE5, Disney+Hotstar among many others, along with news websites, under the purview of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.## The central government's move to bring the OTT platforms under the I&B ministry could also mean that these platforms would have to apply for certification and approval of the content they wish to stream from the I&B ministry. ## The move is clearly a big setback for the OTT platforms which will now they have to keep a check on the content they made. Filmmaker Hansal Mehta who recently saw immense success with his web series Scam 1992 expressed his disappointment at the government's order. ## Talking to indianexpress.com, the director said, "While this decision wasn't unexpected, it is still a reason for despair. This desperation for control of free speech and expression does not augur well. I am currently very disappointed".## Karan Anshuman, known for directing web series like Inside Edge and Mirzapur, called the move "unacceptable". Taking to Twitter, "Unacceptable. Viewers and creators have to band together and challenge censorship in any and every manner!".## "Whatever happened to the understanding with Mr Javadekar that OTT will be self-regulated? Virat Kohli To Return India After The First Test Against Australia; Rohit Sharma Included In Test Squad

Team India captain, Virat Kohli who is expecting his first child with Anushka Sharma in January is all set to miss the last three Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Test series starting from December 17 against Australia. ## At the selection committee meeting held on October 26th, 2020, Virat Kohli had informed the BCCI about his plans to return to India after the first Test in Adelaide. The BCCI has granted paternity leave to the Indian captain. He will return after the first Test against Australia in Adelaide. ## On the other hand, Rohit Sharma who was left out from all three squads in the initial team selection has been included in the Test squad after BCCI received a medical update of his fitness. However, BCCI has decided to rest him for the ODIs and T20Is in Australia to regain full fitness. ## The Selection Committee also has added Sanju Samson as an additional wicket-keeper to India’s ODI squad while Varun Chakravarthy who was included in the T20 squad has been ruled out of the series owing to a shoulder injury. ## Ishant Sharma who has been undergoing his rehab at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru will be added to India's Test squad once he fully recovers and gains sufficient match fitness. Thangarasu Natarajan gets his maiden India call-up after an impressive IPL 2020 season.
