Mumbai, June 4, 2021: Amid the controversy, Amazon Prime Video's original series, The Family Man season 2 dropped on June 4. Created and directed by the director duo Raj & DK, the show stars Manoj Bajpayee, Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Sharad Kelkar, Shreya Dhanwantary, and Sunny Hinduja along with South Indian actress Samantha Akkineni in her digital debut. ## Samantha Akkineni's character, however, gave birth to controversy a few days before the show premeried. She came under the scrutiny of Tamil audiences for her role of Raji as they demanded a ban on the series for showing Tamils as terrorists. However, the makers said that the assumptions have been made based on a few shots in the trailer and urged people to wait for the show to premiere. Mumbai, June 3, 2021: After the success of Stree, Bollywood seems to be looking for more opportunities in the horror-comedy genre for the last couple of years. After Stree and Roohi, there are few more films lined up in this genre with Bhool Bhulaiya 2, Bhediya, and now, there is one more film in this genre that goes on floors. ## Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP Movies to bankroll a horror-comedy film with actors Riteish Deshmukh, and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles along with Saqib Saleem in a prominant role. The film is titled Kakuda and will be helmed by Marathi filmmaker Aditya Sarpotdar. ## The shooting of the film begins on Tuesday in Mandawa, Rajasthan. The makers plan to wrap the film in a 40-day start-to-finish schedule. As you all know, it was earlier reported that Akshay will be starring in the sequel of his 2012 film, Oh My God with Paresh Rawal in the lead role, though there was no confirmation from makers. ## While the sequel of OMG is definitely ON, we hear that Paresh Rawal will not be part of the sequel, instead, versatile actor Pankaj Tripathi will play the lead role along with Akshay Kumar. If things go as per plan, this would be the second time Pankaj Tripathi will share screen space with Akshay. They recently worked together on the Sajid Nadiadwala production, Bachchan Pandey.## Umesh Shukla, who helmed Oh My God, is reportadly not directing the sequel. The new director is yet to be known. Mumbai, June 3, 2021: Actors Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani have been booked under sections 188, 34 IPC by Bandra police station for violating lockdown rules. According to the police, the actors went out for a drive without a valid reason.## On Tuesday evening, the two were stopped by policemen on patrolling duty at Bandra Bandstand. Shroff is a resident of Bandra (West), the police said. After making inquiries with the two, the Police learnt that the Baaghi 2 actors were out on a drive, which is the violation lockdown and FIR can be registered against violators. ## "An FIR has been registered on Wednesday under section 188(Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of the IPC against the duo", said a senior Mumbai Police officer.## Meanwhile, Mumbai Police's social media handle, after registering FIR against the actors, advised people not to violate lockdown norms by mentioning Tiger and Disha's film's title in the tweet in a witty manner. ## "In the ongoing 'War' against the virus, going 'Malang' on the streets of Bandra cost dearly to two actors who have been booked under sections 188, 34 IPC by Bandra PStn. Ajith Kumar Receives Bomb Threat, Hoax Caller Identified

Chennai, June 3, 2021: Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar received a bomb threat call on May 31, however, it turned out to be a hoax, and the Chennai police has identified the hoax caller. ## According to reports, the threat call was made to the Chennai city police control room, in which the caller said a bomb has been planted at the actor's house in the city's Injambakkam area. The Police rushed to the actor's house but no bomb found after searching till late at night. ## Cops soon started an investigation and traced the caller named Dinesh, a mentally ill person who lives in the Marakkanam town of the state. Media reports also suggest that Dinesh was involved in making similar calls in the past to actors such as Rajinikanth and Vijay.## This is not the first time Thala Ajith received such threats. The actor had received such a call for the first time in 2014 which turned out to be false. Again in 2017, he had received a similar bomb threat that had caused. Last year in July too, he had received a threat call and police took immediate action in the case. Youtube Paid Over $4 Billion To Music Industry In The Last 12 Months

California, June 2, 2021: Video streaming platform, Youtube has paid more than $4 billion to the music industry in the past 12 months, according to a letter sent by Lyor Cohen, Youtube's top music executive (via The Hollywood Reporter). ## That $4 billion payout includes payments to artists, writers, labels, and others. Cohen said that 30 percent of that $4 billion figure went to creators of user-generated content. ## "Fan-powered videos have always flourished on YouTube, helping artists grow their audiences and break songs around the world", he wrote. ICC Champions Trophy To Return After 8 Years As ICC Announces Next Cycle Of FTP

Mumbai, June 1, 2021: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the return of the Champions Trophy which was scrapped after the 2017 edition won by Pakistan, in the next cycle of the Future Tours Programme. The eight-year cycle of the FTP starting from 2024 to 2031, will mark the return of the Champions Trophy after 8 years in 2025. ## The World Cricket Body has also approved 14 teams for the 50-over World Cup and 20 teams for the Twenty20 World Cup. The decisions were taken by the all-powerful executive board meeting of the ICC, which was held virtually on Tuesday (June 1). ## In the 50-over world cup, ICC has decided to follow the 2003 world cup format. The 14 teams will be split into two groups with the top three from each group making it to the Super Six. The four best teams will then proceed to the semi-final followed by the final. A total of 54 matches will be held in the ODI World Cup in 2027 and 2031. ## The T20 World Cup will see the 20 teams split into four groups with the top two teams from each group progressing to the next stage - the Super Eight - which will then be followed by the semifinals and the final. Four T20 World Cups have been scheduled to be held in 2024, 2026, 2028, and 2030, will comprise 55 matches each. ## The ICC has also confirmed that the World Test Championship Final will be played in 2025, 2027, 2029, and in 2031. The hosts of the 12 ICC tournaments for the Men's events will be finalized in September this year with the selection process getting underway this month. ## "Having the ICC event schedule confirmed through to 2031 is a significant step forward for cricket and will form the basis of our growth strategy for the next decade", ICC Acting Chief Executive Geoff Allardice said. "The revised approach to selecting hosts for our events will give us much more flexibility to grow the game and engage new fans.## "There is a smaller pool of countries with the infrastructure needed to host our senior Men's events which narrows the selection process.
