New Delhi, November 9 - Punjabi movie "Honsla Rakh" proved to be a blockbuster outing for the makers. The comedy entertainer, starring Diljit Dosanjh, Shehnaaz Kaur Gill, Sonam Bajwa, and Shinda Grewal, has become the top-grossing Punjabi film of 2021 at the domestic box office with a total collection of over ₹ 24 crores over 24 days.## Directed by Amarjit Singh Saron, "Honsla Rakh", has overstepped Amrinder Gill, and Simi Chahal-starrer "Chal Mera Putt 2", which grossed ₹ 20.2 crores in its entire box office run. Ammy Virk, Tania, and Sargun Mehta's "Qismat 2" is at number 3 with ₹ 17.4 crores gross. ## At the international box office, "Honsla Rakh" has been performing brilliantly and grossed approx. ₹ 26 crores so far, for its worldwide total to ₹ 50 crores. It is only the second Punjabi film of the covid-19 pandemic era to reach ₹ 50 crores worldwide. "Chal Mera Putt 2" is at number 1 with ₹ 54.5 crores. ## "Honsla Rakh" is produced by Daljit Thind, and Diljit Dosanjh, and was released on October 15 on the occasion of Dussehra.
