Well, the fair play award is not going to Mohali this year

Rajasthan Royals were cruising towards the victory with Jos Buttler at the other end was in full flow before a controversial decision changed the game in Kings XI Punjab's favor.## In the 13th over of the innings, Ravichandran Ashwin was bowling with Buttler at the non-striker end. Ashwin then stopped before delivering the ball even as Buttler walked out of the crease, Ashwin without giving him any warning took the bails off and affect the dismissal. Buttler, not surprisingly, was furious as he was walking to the pavilion.## Twitter-verse put their opinion on the controversial decision and expressed their thoughts on the dismissal of Buttler.## In a sport where sledging opponents, bouncers aimed at hitting batsmen, not walking after nicking, claiming a grounded catch are all common occurrences.... a phrase like 'againt the spirit of the game' has no meaning.#mankad #ashwin #RRvKXIP— Nikhil Naz (@NikhilNaz) March 25, 2019 ## Controversy @irbishi ... what to make of it all #Mankad #RRvsKXIP— Scott Styris (@scottbstyris) March 25, 2019 ## Well the fair play award isn’t going to Mohali this year....— Sam Billings (@sambillings) March 25, 2019 ## The more you see this the worse it looks .. @josbuttler is still in his crease as @ashwinravi99 is in his delivery position .. The Rishabh Pant Show In MI's Den

The Rishabh Pant Show In MI's Den

How many batsmen are there or you know who can hit Jasprit Bumrah with ease? You might be scratching your head and still thinking about those batsmen but let me tell you that there is probably no one or maybe a few who can do wonder against Bumrah and if you know such batsmen then add Rishabh Pant also in that list. After his knock against MI and the way he played against Bumrah, there is no doubt left why he shouldn't be in that list.## Pant has played a blinder and in that process, he took world's best bowler apart. Though he could score only 18 off 7 balls off Bumrah, the way he smashed him, speaks loud about the immense talent he has. It was all about hitting the ball and he did better than anyone else against the best in the business in the limited overs cricket.## The 21-year old has started the IPL 2019 season from where he left in 2018. He took just 27 balls to dismantle the MI's bowling in their own den. He purposefully hitting the ball out of the park with such ease and Mumbai Indians' bowlers have the no answers of his unorthodox batting. They actually couldn't do anything in the way Pant was assaulting them.## "I always bat according to the situation all the time. Today when I came in, I had to up the ante and so took my chances. It came off tonight. (On his unorthodox methods) Especially in T20, you have to do something different. Sometimes when bowlers cramp you for the room, you got to make your own room. (Whether he is ok with batting at 5) Well, glad to bat anywhere the team wants me to", Pant said in the presentation ceremony.## It is not just that Jasprit Bumrah was the only bowler who became the victim of Pant's assault. Pant's carnage started from the 15th over when he took Ben Cutting on for 4, 4, 6 before going after Hardik Pandya for 6, 4, 6 in the next over. It was looking almost impossible to stop him when he got going and a wild heave shot which he usually plays has become a trademark style of his batting.## But, as it is said that a good batsman is good when he hit a good bowler. Well, nothing could stop Pant who already gone nuts before hitting a nearly impossible shot to Bumrah who nailed the yorker with almost perfection but Pant went deep in the crease and unleashes the half-helicopter shot over deep square leg for a maximum. It was probably the shot of the evening. Even Bumrah couldn't believe that he has dispatched into the stands.## A ball's later, he got his fifty with a boundary and till, by that time, the Wankhede stadium has already witnessed one of the best T20 knocks ever. But Pant didn't stop there and took on helpless Rasikh Salam who was playing his first match, for 6, 6, 4 in the 19th over. Skipper Rohit Sharma couldn't believe what was happening out there but such was Pant's dominance that made everyone amused about his knock.## Before Indians could do anything, Pant already took his side to a massive total of 213 and later on, Capitals won the match comprehensively by 37-runs. He made 78* off just 27 balls and hit 7 fours and 7 sixes. It was a knock that made everyone fan of his aggressive style of batting.## "He is a really destructive batsman, that's the only thing I can say about him. He has matured over the years. Today, he played four dot balls early on and then just took them apart. That's where the maturity comes in. He's an amazing character to be with. Yesterday after the nets, he (Rabada) asked me 'Did you see me a bowl?' and I told him that he wasn't bowling at his full tilt. He said 'I am reserving the energy for the game", Delhi captain Shreyas Iyer said in the presentation ceremony.## Even the Mumbai Indians' skipper Rohit Sharma to felt that Rishabh Pant's knock was the difference between the two sides "We were in the game in the first 10 overs while bowling but the way Rishabh batted, we have to give the credit to him. We missed our lengths and failed to execute our plans but that can happen as there are a lot of new guys in the squad and understanding takes a bit of time".## Follow for more...

A much-awaited Indian Premier League 2019 opener witnessed one of the worst batting performances in the tournament history. Royal Challengers Bangalore who has one of the best batting line-ups, suffered another familiar collapse and bowled out on just 70-runs against the defending champion Chennai Super Kings in their forte, MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai and handed CSK a 7-wicket win.## It was the third time when RCB has played a season opener and every time they have been on the losing side. SRH - 5 Players To Watch Out For In IPL 2019

Sunrisers Hyderabad, a team that has heavily been depended on their bowling with a few explosive batsmen up the order, has been the team to watch out for over the years. With the tag of Dark Horses, SRH has been able to surprise many with their gutsy performances. The two-time champions (one as Deccan Chargers), though will have to answer a few questions before the mega event.## Things have been changed a lot for SRH this time around. Shikhar Dhawan who has been one of their biggest strengths and used to be a partner in destruction with David Warner cuts the ties with long served SRH and will now play for his old come new franchise Delhi Capitals. But on the other note, David Warner's return will boost their confidence who didn't play last year due to ban.## However, SRH didn't miss Warner much last year and without him, they managed to make it to the final under the new captain Kane Williamson. They lost in the final to Chennai Super Kings but would be satisfied with their effort. This time SRH also rooped in Vijay Shankar who was impressive against Australia in recently concluded 5-match ODI series.## Here is the list of the 5 players to watch out for in IPL 2019 (SRH):## 1. David Warner (Batsman) - One of IPL's best players, David Warner must be eager to bat again in this tournament after missing out in the last year. Without a doubt, Warner has been SRH's biggest strength and under him, SRH won the title in 2016 and he was the second highest run-getter with 848 runs 17 innings. He though missed the entire last season due to ban in ugly Newlands ball-tampering scandal. He is supposed to come hard and will be a player to watch out for this year.## A statical view of his IPL career## YearMatchesInningsRunsH.S.10050S.R. 2017 14 14 641 126 1 4 141.81 Overall 114 114 4,014 126 3 36 142.14 ## 2. Manish Pandey (Batsman) - Manish Pandey had a decent season last year but he has been very successful for Kolkata Knight Riders before joining to SRH. He has the ability to play big shots and at the same time a strong middle order batsman who can provide solidity. He has an edge of ex-factor of his fielding as he is one of the best fielders in world cricket today. He can be the player for SRH this time.## A statical view of his IPL career## YearMatchesInningsRunsH.S.10050S.R. 2018 15 13 284 62* 0 3 115.44 Overall 118 109 2,090 114 1 12 119.57 ## 3. Vijay Shankar (Batting All-Rounder) - A high-quality batsman who can bowl, Vijay Shankar was impressive last year for Delhi Capitals (Delhi Daredevils). Since the Nidahas Trophy failure, Vijay Shankar never looked an ordinary player and has impressed everyone with his shot-making ability and that makes him a player to watch out for in this season.## A statical view of his IPL career (Batting)## YearMatchesInningsRunsH.S.10050S.R. 2018 13 11 212 54* 0 1 143.24 Overall 18 15 313 63 0 2 140.36 ## Bowling## YearMatchesInningsWicketsBBI5-WicketsEcon Overall 18 5 1 1/22 0 12.83 ## 4. Shakib Al Hasan (All-Rounder) - Shakib Al Hasan is a genuine all-rounder and arguably the greatest player Bangladesh has ever produced. After making his IPL debut in 2011 for KKR, Shakib Al Hasan has had a wonderful journey of this tournament. Last year he was impressed with both bat and ball and looking to same kind of run this year as well.## A statical view of his IPL career (Batting)## YearMatchesInningsRunsH.S.10050S.R. 2018 17 13 239 35 0 0 121.91 Overall 60 45 737 66 0 2 127.29 ## Bowling## YearMatchesInningsWicketsBBI5-WicketsEcon 2018 17 17 14 - 0 8.00 Overall 60 59 57 3/17 0 7.40 ## 5. Siddarth Kaul (Bowler) - In SRH's nearly perfect campaign last year, Siddarth Kaul played a big role in the absence of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and was the joint second highest wicket-taker of the tournament. He was quite brilliant with his death bowling. He would like to continue the same kind of form in this year Indian Premier League as well.## A statical view of his IPL career## YearMatchesInningsWicketsBBI5-WicketsEcon 2018 17 17 21 - 0 8.28 Overall 38 38 43 4/29 0 8.37 ## Follow for more...
