Mumbai, April 13 - The anticipation for superstar Akshay Kumar's biographical historical drama Kesari: Chapter 2 is building up with the release date getting closer. The movie, directed by debutante Karan Singh Tyagi, is based on the life of C Sankaran Nair, a lawyer who fought for the truth behind the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. ## Scheduled to be released on April 18, Kesari 2 is one of the most anticipated movies, and the words of praise by actor Rana Daggubati have further boosted the hype for it. Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, in association with Mahaveer Jain, will bankroll the film, which will be made on a huge budget. ## While the movie is not officially confirmed, the latest reports provide details about the project. It is said that Kartik Aaryan will play the role of a Snake-Man, and he will be fighting the snakes in the movie, which has reportedly been titled NaagZilla. ## NaagZilla is one of its kind creature comedy in Indian cinema, and the makers will soon announce it officially with the first look, which is reportedly ready with the release date. Both Kartik and Lamba have proven their talent in the comedy space, and the duo is excited to collaborate for the first time in the upcoming film. ## Director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba has been working on the film for a while now, and the project is currently in pre-production. Mumbai, April 9 - Legendary director Ram Gopal Varma and actor Manoj Bajpayee are set to reunite for a spine-chilling horror-comedy, a genre which neither of them has done in the past. The film has been titled Police Station Mein Bhoot, and this marks their first collaboration since Shool (1999). Taking to the social media platform X, Ram Gopal Varma announced the film and wrote, "After Satya, Kaun and Shool, I am thrilled to announce that me and Manoj Bajpayee are once again teaming up for a horror-comedy, a genre which neither of us did. I have done horror, gangster, romantic, political dramas, adventure capers, thrillers, etc., but never a horror-comedy. The film is titled Police Station Mein Bhoot. Tag line: You can't kill the dead". Sharing the film's concept, Varma wrote, "We run to the police when scared, but where will the police run to, when they get scared?" Chennai, April 9 - Thala Ajith Kumar's highly anticipated Good Bad Ugly gears for a massive start at the box office. The movie is being seen as a big comeback for the actor after the debacle performance of his last movie, Vidaamuyarchi, which was released in February this year. ## Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, Good Bad Ugly is slated to hit the screens on April 10 in multiple languages and the advances for the same are strong, especially in the home state, Tamil Nadu. Mumbai, April 9 - After the historic success of Gadar 2, Sunny Deol has teamed up with Telugu director Gopichand Malineni for his next film Jaat. The movie, produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory, is slated to hit the big screens on April 10. ## Ahead of the much-awaited release, the makers cleared the censorship formalities on April 8. The film has officially been censored with U/A (16+) by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with an approved theatrical runtime of 2 hours and 33 minutes (153 minutes). ## As per reports, the CBFC has asked to make 22 changes, including replacing abusive words and replacing as many as 10 scenes with CGI. Due to changes, 2 minutes and 6 seconds of scenes were cut and replaced with appropriate visuals, totalling 1 minute and 37 seconds.## The official plot summary of Jaat reveals, "In a remote coastal village, ruthless criminal Varadaraja Ranatunga terrorizes the locals. A traveling stranger's chance encounter with his men uncovers the villagers' suffering. Realizing the deep-rooted corruption, he takes matters into his own hands. Armed with truth and justice, he sets out for a final confrontation with Ranatunga".## Jaat stars Sunny Deol in the title role alongside Regina Cassandra in the female lead and Randeep Hooda as the main antagonist.
