Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani In Talks To Reunite For Their Third Film Together

Mumbai, May 13 - Superstar Aamir Khan and maverick director Rajkumar Hirani are one of the most successful duos in the Bollywood cinema. They have collaborated on two films in the past, 3 Idiots (2009) and PK (2014), which not only became huge blockbusters but are also considered among the finest Bollywood films ever.

According to the latest report by Pinkvilla, the blockbuster combo is in talks to reunite for their third collaboration and the discussion is said to be in the advanced stage. "Rajkummar Hirani was toying with 3 ideas, and he has finally decided to move ahead with a subject. He discussed the same with Aamir Khan, and the actor has also loved the world that Raju is developing", says the report.



The report confirmed that both Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani have principally agreed on the film and are eyeing to take it on the floors by 2026. It will be the director's next directorial venture after the 2023 comedy drama Dunki, starring superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

It is said that Hirani was also discussing a film each with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal, but the dates didn't align with either of the two actors, due to their packed schedule. The film is expected to approach these two in the near future with the same films.

Meanwhile, Aamir Khan is gearing up for the release of Sitaare Zameen Par, which is slated to hit the big screen on June 20. The trailer of the film will be launched on May 13, and this will lead a month-long promotion.
