WWE Hell In A Cell Winners List, Matches & Mains Events

The Hell in a Cell match was first introduced at Badd Blood on October 5, 1997 at the Kiel Center, now known as Enterprise Center, in St. Louis, Missouri. The background to the inaugural match was built on The Undertaker's loss to Bret Hart two months prior at SummerSlam in a WWF Championship match which Shawn Michaels was assigned to referee. ## It features a large cell structure, a five-sided cuboid made from open-weave steel mesh chain-link fencing which encloses the ring and ringside area. Unlike the steel cage match, the only way to get out of the Hell in a Cell without damaging the Cell's structure is through its door—but this door is locked by thick chains and a padlock. Only an in-ring pinfall or submission will ordinarily result in a win. ## Hell In A Cell Winners List EventMain EventWinner Hell in a Cell (2009) D-Generation X (Shawn Michaels and Triple H) vs. The Legacy (Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase) in a Tornado tag team Hell in a Cell match D-Generation X (Shawn Michaels and Triple H) Hell in a Cell (2010) Kane (c) vs. The Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell match for the World Heavyweight Championship Kane Hell in a Cell (2011) John Cena (c) vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. CM Punk in a Triple threat Hell in a Cell match for the WWE Championship Alberto Del Rio (with Ricardo Rodriguez) Hell in a Cell (2012) CM Punk (c) vs. Ryback in a Hell in a Cell match for the WWE Championship CM Punk (c) (with Paul Heyman) Hell in a Cell (2013) Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton in a Hell in a Cell match for the vacant WWE Championship with Shawn Michaels as the special guest referee Randy Orton Hell in a Cell (2014) Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins in a Hell in a Cell match Seth Rollins (with Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury) Hell in a Cell (2015) Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell match Brock Lesnar (with Paul Heyman) Hell in a Cell (2016) Sasha Banks (c) vs. Charlotte Flair in a Hell in a Cell match for the WWE Raw Women's Championship Charlotte Hell in a Cell (2017) Kevin Owens vs. Shane McMahon in a Falls Count Anywhere Hell in a Cell match Kevin Owens Hell in a Cell (2018) Roman Reigns (c) vs. Braun Strowman in a Hell in a Cell match for the WWE Universal Championship with Mick Foley as the special guest referee Roman Reigns (c) vs. Braun Strowman ended in a no contest Hell in a Cell (2019) Seth Rollins (c) vs. "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt in a Hell in a Cell match for the WWE Universal Championship Seth Rollins (c) vs. The Fiend ended due to match stoppage Hell in a Cell (2020) Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Randy Orton in a Hell in a Cell match for the WWE Championship Randy Orton Hell in a Cell (2021) Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Drew McIntyre in a Last Chance Hell in a Cell match for the WWE Championship Bobby Lashley (c) (with MVP) ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

Nia Jax Turns Down Offered Spot In The Women's Royal Rumble Match

As noted earlier, Nia Jax asked WWE for time off to take care of her mental health, but on November 4, Jax was released from her WWE contract. ## Jax appeared on the latest episode of Renée Paquette's podcast "The Sessions" in a very open and honest discussion about her WWE experience. ## Jax stated that she was called and asked about returning to the company for a Royal Rumble appearance and her response to that idea was "F*** No" and that was she was not coming back. She noted she was still being paid by the company under her 90-day non-compete so there was no reason for them to pay her for the appearance and shut the idea down. ## I did," she confirmed to Renee Paquette on The Sessions when asked if she was offered a spot in the women's Royal Rumble. "I was in the middle of trying to get my stuff back. I had a bunch of crap. You know how it is, you're just shoving stuff in everybody's boxes. I'm in the middle of getting my stuff back, they sent me a box and more than half was missing. I'm like, 'Yo, what is going on?' When I got the call, I thought it was about, 'Where is my stuff?' It's my homie in [Talent Relations]. 'Hey, we're just calling to see if you'd be interested in participating in the Royal Rumble.' I started hysterically laughing. ## I thought it was my friend joking with me. 'Oh, you're hiliarious.' 'Actually, this is an official call.' 'Oh, fuck no, I'm not coming back.' 'We'd like to offer you this.' I said, 'first of all, I'm still under my 90 days. You're still going to be paying me anyway, so you're not offering me anything. No, I'm not coming back. Absolutely fucking not. Is this all it was?' 'Yes.' 'Okay, bye.'" ## When asked by Paquette if it felt like a slap in the face, Jax said, "That's exactly what it was. They were accumulating a list, this is what I was told, they were accumulating a list and wanted to offer me the opportunity, accumulate a list that they send to Vince, then Vince goes through the list and says who he wants and who he doesn't. I was like, 'You're asking me to be part of a list to go to the next step? Fuck no. How much more can you shit on me?' 'We didn't want her to feel left out. If it got around that she didn't get ask, we didn't want her to feel left out.' 'Fuck you, that's such bullshit.' You needed people and I definitely [nixed] that." ## Quotes Courtesy: FightFul ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

Elimination Chamber

List Of Every WWE Elimination Chamber Winners, Matches & Participants

WWE Elimination Chamber match was created by Triple H and was introduced by Eric Bischoff in November 2002. It features a large chain-linked circular steel structure which encloses the ring. ## It's similar in profile and nature to WWE's original large-scale steel-structured match Hell in a Cell. The Elimination Chamber starts with two Superstars in the ring and four other competitors enclosed in their respective pods. ## Every five minutes, a pod door will open, allowing another competitor to join the contest. This process will continue until all pods are empty. When a Superstar is pinned or submits, that Superstar is eliminated and must exit the Chamber. The last Superstar remaining will be the WWE Champion. ## Since the inaugural match, there have been 27 other matches (28 overall) as of Elimination Chamber in February 2021. The Raw brand has been featured the most with 13 matches, including its joint-branded match with SmackDown. ## ECW has been featured in two matches, including its joint-branded match with SmackDown.
