The second semi-final match of the 2022 Women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic has been decided. ## On the March 1 episode of NXT 2.0, the remaining quarterfinal matches were held in the Women's Dusty Cup. In one match, Cora Jade and Raquel Gonzalez teamed up to face Yulisa Lyonne and Valentina Firoz. The winning team will take on Dakota Kai and Wendy Choo, who won their match on the night. ## During the match, Cora and Raquel showed off the chemistry they've been building for the past few weeks. Although Leon and Feroz put up a good fight, it was very difficult to control Raquel's strength. It was the weekend, my wife was making stew and I couldn't smell it. She said, 'Wow, doesn't that smell great.' I said, 'No.' I tested positive on Saturday. By then, Vince wanted to go in a different direction with NXT and he wanted to have the new opening with NXT 2.0 be with a bang and I agreed with him." ## "I said, 'If that's the case, this is probably what's best for what your vision is for this product.' I went behind the scenes and started working with talent on a one to one basis, pulling guys individually in open gyms, working with them, and focusing on these new tremendous prospects were brought in and people that were hungry to learn and excited about this newfound opportunity." ## "It was invigorating for me. When you're working with younger talent that are hungry and want to succeed on a high level, it amps up your own spirit. I was delving into that heavily. Working with Matt Bloom on revising things, training techniques, and evaluating what we were doing already and seeing if we could do it better. Ex-UFC Champ Cain Velasquez Arrested In Monday's Alleged Shooting Incident In San Jose

Former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a shooting incident in which a man was injured on Monday. ## TMZ first reported that Velasquez was facing an attempted murder charge on Tuesday morning. The San Jose Police Department later confirmed in a tweet that Velasquez is a suspect but did not specify if he’s been charged. ## UFC legend Cain Velasquez spent Monday night in jail. Details surrounding the specifics of his arrest are unclear, though law enforcement says the former fighter was involved in a shooting in San Jose at around 3 PM near a local high school. ## In the alleged incident, one person was shot while another was arrested. Finn Balor Wins WWE United States Championship

Finn Balor is the new United States Champion now. ## After handily defeating Shelton Benjamin on Raw, United States Champion Damian Priest was in the mood to issue another open challenge. Promising to defend his title this Monday on Raw, the champion invited anyone in the locker room to step up. ## That call was answered by Finn Bálor, who was fresh off his return to action in a tag team victory alongside Tommaso Ciampa earlier in the night. Bálor gladly accepted the challenge and battled tonight on WWE Raw. ## At the end of the match, Priest set for Reckoning but Balor landed an elevated DDT followed by a dropkick into the turnbuckles. Balor finally got to win the gold after performing Coup de Grace for the three counts. ## Bálor was the inaugural WWE Universal Champion.
