AEW Dynamite Results April 5, 2023: Highlights, Live Coverage, Winners

Here are the full results for this Wednesday's AEW Dynamite Episode which is slated to air live on April 5, 2023, from UBS Arena in Long Island, NY. ## AEW Dynamite airs every Wednesday at 8 pm ET on TBS in the United States. In Canada, AEW Dynamite is available through the TSN website. In India, AEW Dynamite airs on Eurosport every Thursday at 5:30 AM IST. ## The show is available on the TSN Direct streaming service at 10 pm Eastern, the same time that the show will air live on TNT and FITE TV. ## AEW Dynamite Results April 5, 2023: ## Ricky Starks vs. Juice Robinson ## Juice Robinson had already entered the ring when Starks was making his entrance. However, just as Starks made his way to the ring, the electrifying music of Switchblade Jay White hit, eliciting a thunderous reaction from the crowd. Without hesitation, White stormed into the ring to lend Robinson a hand in giving Starks a sound beating. The two men hugged it out before hitting Starks with the devastating Blade Runner finisher. As they made their way back up the ramp, Robinson and White stood tall, victorious over their fallen foe. ## WINNER: No Contest ## In the backstage area, Tony Schiavone caught up with Chris Jericho for an interview. Jericho discussed Adam Cole's recent match and post-match celebration, which seemed to go on forever. Jericho expressed that he had to put a stop to the disrespect after Cole punked out Daniel Garcia. Suddenly, Keith Lee appeared on the scene, calling out Jericho for his history of disrespect towards other AEW wrestlers. Lee challenged Jericho to a match in Milwaukee next week, with the intention of teaching him a thing or two about respect. Jericho slowly backed away from the confrontation, leaving his answer to Lee's challenge uncertain. ## As the House of Black made their entrance, the audience roared in anticipation, knowing that they would be defending their coveted AEW Trios Titles against the popular trio of Orange Cassidy and Best Friends. ## AEW Trios Titles: House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King & Buddy Matthews w/Julia Hart) Vs Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent Beretta) & AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy ## Amidst a loud crowd reaction, a mini-van pulled up backstage, with none other than Trent's mother Sue behind the wheel. Beretta and Black started the match with a series of reversals, exchanging back and forth until Beretta delivered a stunning standing meteora. Taylor and King made the tag, with Taylor narrowly avoiding a charging senton, allowing Cassidy and Matthews to join the fray. The pace picked up with lightning-fast switches, culminating in Matthews blocking the tilt-a-whirl DDT and slamming Cassidy face-first into the corner. ## The match broke down into chaos as everyone spilled outside, with King decimating Taylor and Cassidy attempting a daring hands-in-pocket fall off the top, only to be caught by Black and Matthews and slammed onto the apron. Beretta suffered the same fate moments later. The House of Black took control during the commercial break, with Cassidy hitting a top-rope crossbody on Black. King was sent through the ropes onto his partners, while Cassidy was launched to the floor onto everyone. ## Back inside the ring, a double choke slam powerbomb earned a two-count on Black, with Rush, Dralistico, and Preston Vance watching from ringside. Both teams exchanged a flurry of big-time moves until Black and Cassidy had a tense standoff after missing their respective signature strikes. Cassidy attempted his trademark little kicks, but Black quickly dropped him. Cassidy retaliated with a Stundog Millionaire, as Anna Jay kept a watchful eye on Julia Hart backstage. ## Beretta hit a perfect piledriver on Matthews and Black, but when it came to King, he struggled to lift him at first. It took a Taylor pump knee and Cassidy's Orange Punch to finally set up Beretta for the piledriver on King, which almost earned them the victory. Taylor and Matthews countered each other's Sole Food and Murphy's Law until Matthews ultimately landed a Curb Stomp to secure the victory. ## WINNERS: House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King & Buddy Matthews w/Julia Hart) ## AEW Women’s Title: Jamie Hayter (w/Dr. Britt Baker) Vs Riho Hayter attempted to execute her finisher as soon as the bell rang, but Riho was able to evade it and countered with a series of close pin attempts. Hayter utilized her strength advantage with some shoulder tackles, however, Riho's agility allowed her to send Hayter flying out of the ring and hit a dive from the top rope. Hayter regained control inside the ring with a vicious gut buster. Both competitors exchanged blows on the apron before Hayter executed an Uranage on the edge of the ring. ## After the commercial break, Riho fought back with a head scissors, Tiger Feint Kick, and a cross body from the top rope for a near fall. Although Hayter was able to dodge the Northern Lights suplex, she was not able to avoid the snap German and Dragon suplexes by Riho. Hayter landed a Ushigoroshi and a Swing Low, Sweet Lariat for a close two count. Later, Hayter delivered a superplex and attempted a brainbuster, but Riho countered with a devastating DDT in a beautifully executed sequence. The two competitors exchanged forearm strikes, with Hayter ultimately coming out on top. They climbed the ropes again, and Riho hit a springboard hurricanrana followed by charging double knees, but Hayter managed to put a foot on the rope to avoid the pin. ## Riho was determined to execute another Dragon suplex, but Hayter countered by rolling through into Hayter-ade, which Riho initially avoided, but not the second time. Although Riho was able to kick out of the first Hayter-ade, Hayter hit a second one to successfully defend her title. ## WINNER: Jamie Hayter ## MJF Day ## As the curtains opened to reveal a magnificent swing band, the crowd erupted into a thunderous ovation, eagerly anticipating the appearance of their idol, MJF. He emerged from behind the curtains, clad in a pristine white tuxedo, and the crowd went wild. MJF began crooning the classic tune "Pennies from Heaven" with such finesse and flair that it left the audience spellbound. ## The band's exquisite performance and MJF's velvety-smooth vocals would have undoubtedly impressed even the likes of Lawrence Welk and Dean Martin. With each passing verse, MJF danced his way down to the ring, bringing the song to a sensational finish. Justin Roberts took the stage, introducing Joseph Saladino, the esteemed Supervisor of the town of Oyster Bay. As Saladino presented MJF with a much grander key to Long Island, the crowd booed him mercilessly, much to the delight of Taz, who couldn't help but chuckle at the scene. ## MJF, basking in the adulation of the crowd, declared that he deserved this honor, unlike losers such as Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara, and especially Jungle Boy. He belittled Jungle Boy, claiming that the most he could ever hope for was a girlfriend with a wandering eye and a minuscule package. Undeterred, MJF continued his speech, regaling the Long Island kids with his inspiring tale of perseverance. ## He spoke of his childhood dreams of becoming a wrestler and recounted how his teacher, Mrs. Benedict, used to laugh at him for not knowing the answers in class. But MJF had the last laugh, as he rose to become one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. He even called Mrs. Benedict a "stupid b*tch," which garnered yet another chant from the crowd. ## In an uplifting gesture, MJF gave a motivational speech to the young Long Island fans, but he made it clear that he only spoke to the "rich and famous" and not the "poors." With his trademark tagline, MJF bid farewell to his adoring fans and strutted up the ramp for an encore performance. ## Suddenly, the loud clashing of cymbals shattered the air, causing MJF to spin around in alarm. To his surprise, he found himself face to face with Jungle Boy, who had snuck up behind him. The two rivals launched into a vicious brawl, with the crowd cheering for MJF whenever he gained the upper hand and booing when Jungle Boy did. ## As the agents and security tried to separate the two, Sammy Guevara made his entrance, holding the AEW Title high above his head. He stood between the two combatants, staring them down, before making his way to the ring for his match. ## Singles Match: Sammy Guevara Vs Komander ## In the opening moments of the match, Guevara pulled off an impressive springboard moonsault to the floor, catching Kommander off guard. His acrobatic skills were so impressive that he went out of frame. However, Kommander managed to recover and hit a superkick on Guevara in mid-air as he flew back inside the ring. ## Kommander continued to fight back and executed a rope walk into a Shooting Star Press for a near fall. Guevara rolled outside the ring to catch his breath, and Kommander took advantage of the situation by attempting a dive outside the ring. But Guevara was prepared for it and connected with a jump knee that took us into the picture-in-picture view. ## Guevara kept Kommander grounded, and Jungle Boy watched on backstage with security standing behind him. However, Kommander fought back with a springboard Poison rana, followed by a spectacular rope walk and a dive on the outside. Back inside the ring, Kommander attempted a Shooting Star Press for the second time, but Guevara moved out of the way. Kommander then attempted a springboard Phoenix Splash, but could only manage a two-count. ## Kommander was determined to execute his signature move, the rope walk Shooting Star Press, and attempted it for the third time. Unfortunately, Guevara saw it coming and got his knees up, causing Kommander to crash land. Guevara seized the opportunity and trapped Kommander in the ropes, allowing him to hit a cutter halfway through the rope walk. Finally, Guevara connected with his signature move, the GTH, and secured the victory. Despite a valiant effort by Kommander, Guevara emerged victorious with his high-flying moves and quick reflexes. ## WINNER: Sammy Guevara ## FTW Title Match: HOOK Vs Ethan Page (w/Matt Hardy & Isiah Kassidy) ## During the bout, Page attempted a sneaky attack, but was swiftly thwarted with a masterful T-Bone suplex and rolled out of the ring. Determined to gain an advantage, Page continued his assault on HOOK outside the ring, slamming him against the unforgiving floor and posting him. Returning to the ring with an air of confidence, Page struck a pose reminiscent of Matt Hardy. However, his attempt to execute a Twist of Fate was expertly countered by HOOK, who seamlessly transitioned into his own devastating move. ## As Page struggled to regain his footing, Isiah Kassidy emerged, using distracting tactics to allow Hardy to enter the fray and engage in a tug-of-war with the FTW title against Page. Hardy eventually ripped the title away, using it to clock Page with a vicious blow that sent him reeling back into the clutches of HOOK's signature submission hold, REDRUM. With the crowd on their feet, Hardy and Kassidy gave a triumphant fist bump to HOOK on the ramp before disappearing backstage. ## WINNER: HOOK ## The Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta w/Bryan Danielson) Vs. 3 Guys Already in the Ring ## The energy in the arena was palpable as the Blackpool Combat Club (BCC) made their way to the ring, ready to take on their opponents. Excalibur was about to introduce their opponents when the BCC sprang into action, launching a surprise attack that left their opponents dazed and confused. ## Moxley and Castagnoli executed a brutal spike piledriver on one of their opponents on the floor, while Yuta locked in a single crab. The BCC continued their assault, with Moxley applying a sleeper hold and Castagnoli launching another opponent to the floor. Yuta then landed a series of anvil elbows before locking in a crossface to secure an easy victory. ## WINNERS: The Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta w/Bryan Danielson) ## After the match, Danielson took the microphone and spoke of his love for his family and the BCC, who he deemed to be true professionals. He then turned his attention to their opponents, questioning their professionalism and suggesting they were merely amateurs hired by the EVPs. Danielson asserted that the BCC were the only professionals present, just as Hangman Adam Page power walked to the ring. ## Despite showing no fear, Page was immediately set upon by Moxley, Castagnoli, and Yuta, while Danielson berated him as an amateur. Danielson then produced a screwdriver from his jacket and proclaimed that the house of AEW needed to be fixed up from all the amateurs present. To prove his point, he slowly drove the screwdriver into Page's eye, causing him to scream in agony while Danielson continued to proclaim the superiority of the BCC and himself as professionals. ## It was a shocking and disturbing scene that left the audience reeling, as the BCC asserted their dominance over the rest of AEW. It remains to be seen how the other wrestlers will respond to this display of brutality and arrogance. ## AEW Tag Team Titles: FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) Vs The Gunns (Austin & Colten) ## The Gunns made their entrance to new music and a fancier overall presentation, while FTR's appearance marked their first match since Wrestle Kingdom. To start the bout, Wheeler and Austin exchanged slaps, with Wheeler later executing a charging spear in the ropes and delivering chops as FTR made rapid tags. Colten tried to regroup outside, but Wheeler caught up with Austin, allowing The Gunns to isolate and control Wheeler during the break. ## Upon returning to the action, Harwood made a fiery hot tag, unleashing a flurry of punches. A beautifully executed short arm lariat sent Colten outside, and while Austin attempted a move of his own, Harwood almost pinned him with a close small package. FTR delivered a double DDT to Colten in the ropes, with a blind tag made by FTR just as they planted Austin with a spike piledriver for a two count. ## Both teams attempted their respective finishing moves, the Shatter Machine and 3:10 to Yuma, but it was FTR who hit the Shatter Machine. However, Colten pulled the referee out of the ring and demanded that he disqualify FTR, but the referee refused, knowing that a DQ would end FTR's careers. Colten and Harwood collided on the apron, and Austin hit the Fame-Asser for a two count. ## Attempting a Pedigree, Austin was countered by Harwood, who spun out into multiple pin attempts. Austin then resorted to a low blow, right in front of the referee, but Wheeler pleaded with the ref not to disqualify The Gunns. As 3:10 to Yuma hit Wheeler, Austin set up Harwood in the corner. Although the ref saw one title thrown in the ring, he missed the second, and Harwood was struck with it but managed to kick out at two. Furious, Harwood spat in both of The Gunns' faces, and while Wheeler came flying off the top with a sunset flip, Harwood simultaneously executed a roll-up, resulting in both Gunns being pinned, and FTR being crowned the new champions as streamers fell from above. The show culminated with Mark Briscoe rushing to the ring to celebrate with FTR, marking a significant win for the team. ## WINNERS: FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

AEW Dynamite 3/29/23 Full Show Review: Match Rating, Results

The highlight of tonight's episode of AEW Dynamite was the long-awaited return of Adam Cole to the ring. After a hiatus of nine months, Cole finally made his comeback on tonight's show. ## Adam Cole had been out of action for the past nine months following a major concussion he suffered during a match at Forbidden Door on June 26, 2022. His return to the ring finally happened on the latest episode of AEW Dynamite, where he faced off against Daniel Garcia, a member of the Jericho Appreciation Society. ## Plush, Kenny Omega made his first defense of his current IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship reign, where he faced NJPW's, Jeff Cobb. Orange Cassidy defended the International title against The Butcher and many more. ## Check out the full show review: ## Jungle Boy Jack Perry Vs Matt Hardy (w/Ethan Page) ## Last week on the wrestling program, Stokely Hathaway was nowhere to be seen after his defeat by HOOK. During the match between Hardy and Perry, there was a nice back and forth between the two wrestlers. When Perry attempted to dive out of the ring, Page intervened and prevented the move. However, this gave Hardy an opportunity to catch Perry with a Side Effect when he was mid-air. Later on, Perry fought back with a double sledge off the barricade and a slugfest on the apron, but Hardy managed to hit another Side Effect on the edge of the apron. ## During the commercial break, it was all Hardy during the picture in picture, and Perry fired back with a dropkick. Page once again distracted Perry, allowing Hardy to connect with a superplex for a two-count. However, Page's interference didn't go unnoticed, as HOOK's music suddenly played, and he started a brawl with Page. As Hardy tried to hold HOOK back, Page clocked him. Perry took advantage of the distraction and hit Hardy with a dive. Back inside the ring, Hardy tried a third Side Effect, but Perry countered with a Flatliner and a charging forearm to the back of the head, securing the victory. ## WINNER: Jungle Boy Jack Perry ## MATCH RATING: ** ## Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta Vs Dalton Castle & The Boys ## Castle and The Boys were viciously attacked by The Blackpool Combat Club during their entrance, leaving them beaten and battered on the floor. Despite the chaos, the referee Rick Knox decided to start the match anyway. Moxley locked Castle in an Anaconda choke on the outside, while Castagnoli swiftly executed a Ricola Bomb on one of The Boys, leading to an effortless victory for the Blackpool Combat Club. ## WINNERS: Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta ## MATCH RATING: *** ## Kenny Omega Vs Jeff Cobb to retain the IWGP US Title ## Cobb demonstrated his raw strength early on in the match, presenting a completely different challenge for Omega compared to last week's opponent, Vikingo. Omega managed to send Cobb to the outside and hit his trademark Terminator Dive, followed by the Kotaro Crusher. However, he made the mistake of attempting a bodyslam, causing Cobb to collapse onto him. A running brainbuster by Cobb gave him control, as he focused on Omega's taped up ribs. During the entire commercial break, Cobb continued his onslaught on Omega, even posting him back first on the ring post. ## Omega attempted to fight back with his running claw slam, but he buckled while trying to execute You Can't Escape, and Cobb capitalized with a spinning back suplex. Cobb attempted a massive release German Suplex, but Omega managed to land on his feet and charged with a spinning Polish Hammer. He followed up with a backslide into a running knee strike, which got him a near fall. Omega signaled for his V-Trigger, but Cobb caught him with a standing dropkick. Omega escaped from a fireman's carry and hit multiple Snap Dragons, but Cobb popped up and landed a devastating lariat, leaving both men down.## As they struggled to get back up, they exchanged forearms and chops, with Cobb hitting an uppercut to Omega's injured ribs. Cobb set up Omega in the corner with a raising headbutt and hit a delayed superplex, followed by a standing moonsault that only got him a near fall. Cobb hit a V-Trigger and attempted both the One Winged Angel and the Tour of the Islands, but Omega countered with a ripcord knee and another V-Trigger. Omega finally managed to lift Cobb up for the One Winged Angel and secured the victory. ## WINNER: Kenny Omega ## MATCH RATING: *** ## Orange Cassidy Vs The Butcher (w/The Blade) to retain the AEW International Title ## The match between Cassidy and Butcher began with a surprise attack by The Blade on Cassidy before the match started. The referee finally intervened and threw The Blade out of the ring, giving Cassidy enough time to recover before the match began. Cassidy started using his speed and little kicks, but Butcher caught him and slammed him down on his ribs. Butcher continued to work on Cassidy's ribs during the picture in picture break and locked him in a Cloverleaf submission hold, but Cassidy refused to give up. ## Butcher attempted a powerbomb, but Cassidy retaliated by poking him in the eyes and attempted an Orange Punch. Butcher countered the move and executed a violent Choke Breaker. Cassidy fought back with a Stundog Millionaire and a satellite DDT, which almost ended badly but both men managed to fix it. Cassidy then went for a diving DDT off the top rope. The Blade interfered and hit Cassidy with a pipe in the ribs, but Chuck Taylor and Trent came to Cassidy's aid and attacked The Blade. Butcher then threw the referee down, but Taylor hit Butcher with the pipe in the ribs. Cassidy then hit Butcher with an Orange Punch and Beach Break to retain his title. ## WINNER: Orange Cassidy ## MATCH RATING: *** ## Ruby Soho (w/Saraya & Toni Storm) Vs Willow Nightingale ## Soho has dropped her Rancid theme, which, although it's a great song, might be for the best considering Soho's new attitude. Nightingale appears visibly disappointed that she has to wrestle her former friend, who just a few months ago won a wild Street Fight on Rampage with her. Nightingale has Soho's offense scouted well, countering No Future and a tilt-a-whirl head scissors into a side slam and splash. Nightingale fired off corner forearms until Soho begged off and suckered Nightingale in, allowing Saraya to attack with the referee's attention turned away. ## Nightingale mounted a comeback out of the commercial after stopping another Saraya attack, sending her to the floor. Nightingale took the fight to Soho with a nice spinebuster and a gnarly Death Valley Driver. Referee Aubrey saw Toni Storm shake the middle ropes while Nightingale was up there and did nothing, as Soho hit multiple No Future kicks for two. Soho was launched by a Pounce, as the straps came down and Nightingale wanted the Doctor Bomb, but for what felt like the tenth time, Saraya took the ref, and it was enough for Nightingale to get distracted, allowing Soho to steal the win with a roll-up and her feet on the ropes. ## WINNER: Ruby Soho ## MATCH RATING: *** ## Adam Cole Vs Daniel Garcia ## The match started with some intense grappling exchanges, but Cole eventually found himself in a headlock and had to fight his way out. Garcia took control with a snap piledriver, and during a break, the ref checked on Cole, who seemed to be having issues with his head. Garcia continued to dominate until Cole managed to hit a Ushigoroshi and regain some momentum. ## Both wrestlers exchanged strikes, with Garcia hitting a high angle German suplex and Cole countering with a superkick. Garcia went for a superkick of his own, but Cole dodged it and landed a near fall. Cole missed his signature move, The Boom, and Garcia took advantage, hitting him with anvil elbows. Garcia locked in the Dragon Tamer, but Cole managed to reach the ropes. Instead of following up, Garcia posed for the crowd, allowing Cole to recover. ## Garcia hit another piledriver, but Cole kicked out. He then charged at Cole, who caught him with a superkick and hit the Panama Sunrise, followed by The Boom to secure the victory. ## WINNER: Adam Cole ## MATCH RATING: *** ## THAT WILL DO! ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

AEW Dynamite Results March 22, 2023: Live Coverage, Winners, Commentary, Recap

Here are the full results for this Wednesday's AEW Dynamite Episode which is slated to air live on March 22, 2023, from Cable Dahmer Arena, in Independence, MO. ## AEW Dynamite March 22, 2023 Live Coverage ## Sting, Darby Allin & AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy Vs The Butcher, The Blade & Kip Sabian (w/Penelope Ford) ## Cassidy sported an impressive display of finger paint on his cheeks, resembling the kind one might see in a preschool classroom. This aesthetic choice was particularly fitting given the recent House Rules show in Troy, OH, where Cassidy and Allin emerged victorious over Butcher and Blade, only to be ambushed backstage after the event. The match began with a brief exchange between Sabian and Cassidy, during which Cassidy unleashed his signature "pocket offense." However, when Butcher entered the ring and Sting followed suit, the action intensified. ## Despite being struck repeatedly, Sting remained unfazed and delivered a devastating blow to Butcher, who resorted to eye-gouging in an attempt to regain control. Butcher's subsequent Stinger Splash missed the mark, allowing Sting to retaliate with one of his own as chaos ensued in the ring. Sabian then attempted a high-flying maneuver on Sting, but the seasoned wrestler channeled Cassidy's agility, rolling to the opposite side of the ring before tagging in Allin. With a lightning-fast Code Red, Allin nearly secured the win, but distraction from Ford gave Blade the opportunity to attack Allin from behind and take the upper hand. ## Allin was mere inches away from making a crucial tag, but Blade intervened and took out Sting on the ringside floor. Cassidy's tag was lackluster at best, but once he entered the ring, he unleashed a flurry of energy and dominated the opposition. However, Butcher & Blade teamed up to deliver a devastating powerbomb neckbreaker combination on Cassidy, which was followed by a corner cannonball from Sabian. In a moment of hubris, Sabian played to the crowd, allowing Sting to make the tag and turn the tide of the match. Despite locking Sabian in a Scorpion Death Lock, Sting was soon overwhelmed by the duo of Butcher & Blade. Allin swooped in with a daring double Coffin Splash, while Sabian landed a punishing pump knee strike. A well-timed Stundog Millionaire from Cassidy led to a dramatic double dive onto Butcher & Blade. With Sabian at his mercy, Sting executed a picture-perfect Scorpion Death Drop and secured the pinfall victory. ## WINNERS: Sting, Darby Allin & AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy ## In the aftermath, Cassidy playfully placed his glasses on Sting, while Allin gazed intently at the Double or Nothing banner. The show concluded with a thrilling video package showcasing the 4 Pillars of AEW engaged in a raucous brawl from the previous week. ## The Gunns (Austin & Colten) Vs Top Flight (Dante & Darius Martin) to retain the AEW Tag Team Titles ## Top Flight launched into the match with lightning-fast speed, catching The Gunns off-guard and forcing them to retreat to the ringside floor. However, Dante's attempt to use the ropes to gain an advantage backfired, resulting in him getting caught throat-first by Colten. With referee Aubrey distracted by Austin, the action was paused briefly for a commercial break, during which Dante was left isolated and vulnerable. However, as soon as the show returned from break, Darius made an explosive hot tag, delivering a stunning standing Spanish Fly on Colten and earning a near-fall. A crafty blind tag by Austin set up a dizzying spinning slam from Dante, nearly securing the win for Top Flight. ## As the match neared its climax, Dante looked poised to unleash his signature move, the Nose Dive, but Colten managed to block his attempt. Meanwhile, Darius launched himself out of the ring, taking out Colten with a daring dive. Undeterred, Dante regrouped and successfully executed the Nose Dive, but Colten rallied just in time to break up the pinfall. Suddenly, Matt Taven and Mike Bennett appeared at ringside, launching a surprise attack on Dante while the referee was distracted. Despite the interference, Dante fought back fiercely and managed to re-enter the ring, but he was quickly met with The Gunns' devastating finishing move, 3:10 to Yuma. With that, The Gunns emerged victorious and retained their title. ## WINNERS: The Gunns (Austin & Colten) ## After the match, a chaotic brawl erupted between Top Flight and The Kingdom, spilling backstage. Meanwhile, FTR made their way to the ring as their music blared. However, Colten Gunn wasted no time in shutting down their entrance, declaring that no one wanted to hear their song or see them in the ring. Colten went on to accuse FTR of being losers who would never earn another title shot. In response, FTR claimed that they would never team up in AEW again, but Austin Gunn was not convinced. Dax Harwood upped the ante, challenging The Gunns to a high-stakes match: if they lost, FTR would quit AEW for good. To everyone's surprise, Austin and Colten accepted the challenge without hesitation and even spat in FTR's faces before leaving the ring. ## No Disqualification Match: HOOK Vs Stokely Hathaway Hathaway stepped into the ring wearing the colors of the Nation of Domination, and even shared a pre-match hug with referee Bryce. However, before the match could begin, Hathaway made a shocking announcement. He claimed to have spoken with Doctor Simpson earlier and revealed that he was not cleared to compete and would be retiring from wrestling. To support his claim, he handed Justin Roberts what he claimed was a doctor's note, but was actually a Wing Stop receipt. As the bell rang, Hathaway quickly fled through the crowd, pursued by his opponent HOOK. The chase led back to the ringside area, where HOOK launched Hathaway with a powerful overhead suplex onto the hard floor. ## HOOK noticed a railing stored under the ring and tossed it into the ring. Hathaway took advantage of the opportunity and grabbed a fire extinguisher, spraying HOOK in the face with it. He then grabbed a chair and quoted Tupac before attempting to strike HOOK with it. However, HOOK blocked the shot and retaliated with a devastating chair shot that left Hathaway reeling. HOOK continued to dominate, launching Hathaway into the railing he had set up earlier. Instead of going for the pin, HOOK opted to apply his signature submission hold, the REDRUM. ## WINNER: HOOK ## Adam Cole Addresses His Return Next Week ## Adam Cole entered the ring to address the crowd and discuss his upcoming in-ring return next week. Cole expressed his excitement to wrestle again and teased the audience with the question of who his opponent will be. However, before he could continue, Daniel Garcia's music interrupted him. Garcia declared that it was "Story Time with Daniel Garcia Bay Bay" and received a negative reaction from the crowd. Garcia went on to claim that he is a locker room leader and has earned the respect of his peers. He welcomed Cole back but also aimed to put him in his place. While Cole was at home playing video games, Garcia had defeated Brody King, Ricky Starks, and Bryan Danielson. Garcia demanded to know where his respect as a sports entertainer was and asked what made Cole so special. ## Cole stated that someday, Garcia may become a leader in AEW, but he shouldn't rely on the J.A.S. to give him a false sense of security. Even though he hasn't wrestled in nine months, Cole is still a multi-time world champion who has traveled the globe. If Garcia is foolish enough to challenge him next week, Cole is game. This isn't just any match for Cole; it's a statement that Adam Cole has returned. ## Jon Moxley (w/Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta) Vs Stu Grayson (w/Evil Uno, John Silver & Alex Reynolds) ## After an intense back-and-forth, Moxley took Grayson down to the mat. However, the two collided in an awkward manner, leaving Moxley visibly frustrated. He vented his anger by throwing a chair outside the ring before returning to execute a Saito suplex on Grayson, who was sent flying into the barricade. Once back inside, Moxley applied a Texas Cloverleaf, but Grayson managed to break free and landed a dropkick. Moxley regained control, but Grayson quickly recovered and hit a spinning slam followed by a twisting springboard senton for a near fall. ## Grayson climbed to the top rope, but was momentarily distracted by Yuta. Dark Order and BCC exchanged heated words as Grayson took out the BCC with a moonsault, while Moxley took out Dark Order with a dive. Grayson returned to the ring and executed a huge 450 Splash, but Moxley kicked out. Grayson attempted Night Fall, but Moxley countered with the Bulldog Choke. Moxley then drove his knees to Grayson's head and locked in the Rear Naked Choke, causing Grayson to almost pass out before cannonballing into the corner with Moxley still on his back. Grayson followed up with a backflip kick, but Moxley halted him on the ropes with an Avalanche Death Rider, ultimately securing the victory. ## WINNER: Jon Moxley ## Toni Storm (w/Saraya & Ruby Soho) Vs Skye Blue ## At the onset of the match, Storm charged at Blue in an attempt to gain an early advantage. However, Blue managed to mount a comeback by landing strikes, executing a face buster and a dropkick that sent Storm out of the ring. Blue followed this up with a well-executed hurricanrana off the apron to the floor. Just as Blue was about to climb to the top, Storm cut her off with a hip attack that sent her crashing to the floor. Saraya and Soho took advantage of the referee's distraction to attack Blue. ## During the commercial break, Storm maintained control of the match until Blue regained momentum with a corner kick and a top rope cross body. Blue then executed a tilt-a-whirl head scissors and followed it up with a spin kick to the head, earning a two-count. Storm managed to avoid Blue's finishing move, Code Blue, and instead hit a Thesz Press and a spinning DDT off the ropes. Storm then called for her finisher, Sweet Cheek Music, but Blue avoided it with a pump knee and executed Code Blue. Soho tried to distract the referee while Blue missed her spinning slam on Storm, who retaliated with Sweet Cheek Music, a German Suplex, and Storm Zero to secure the victory. ## WINNER: Toni Storm ## Following the match, The Outcasts appeared poised to attack Blue, but Willow Nightingale and Riho arrived with a steel pipe and chased them off. ## Kenny Omega (w/Don Callis) Vs AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo ## During his entrance, Vikingo executed multiple dives on Omega, including a springboard dropkick back inside that led to a forearm exchange. Referee Paul Turner then officially started the match, and Omega missed a corner splash while Vikingo showcased his impressive athleticism with an Implosion Hurricanrana out of the corner, followed by a corkscrew kick. Omega was then sent to the floor, where Vikingo hit a Shooting Star Press off the apron. Vikingo's incredible springboard 450 splash off the second rope nearly ended the match, but Omega fought back with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker and fisherman's buster. Omega then hurled Vikingo into the barricade and set up a table ringside. ## Despite Omega's dominance, Vikingo fought back on the apron with chops. However, Omega hit a perfectly executed monkey flip on the edge of the apron, causing Vikingo to land roughly. Omega attempted to execute a Snap Dragon off the apron and through the table, but Vikingo sprang back into the ring, leapt to the top rope, and, while standing on the ring post, executed a Dragon Rana on the apron and sent Omega crashing to the floor. Back inside the ring, Vikingo landed a nasty corner kick on Omega, but as they battled up on the ropes, Omega attempted a powerbomb, which Vikingo turned into a hurricanrana in mid-air and landed Omega on his head. Vikingo then followed up with an incredible spinning Phoenix Splash from the apron second rope, nearly ending the match. ## Omega caught a flying Vikingo mid-air with a powerbomb into pump knee, but Vikingo kicked out, and Omega followed up with a Snap Dragon. Omega then hit a picture-perfect V-Trigger, but Vikingo countered Omega's signature One Winged Angel with a Swan Dive Poison Rana that spiked Omega. As Omega found himself on the table, Vikingo executed his signature breathtaking 630 Senton off the ropes and through the table to a huge pop from the crowd. Both men managed to beat the count and started slugging it out on their knees. Omega fired off a V-Trigger, but Vikingo responded with a sunset flip bomb, coming very close to winning the match. Vikingo then climbed to the top, but missed a 630 Senton, allowing Omega to hit a V-Trigger and finally execute his signature One Winged Angel for the victory in an incredible main event. ## WINNER: Kenny Omega ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

Last Sunday's Unsanctioned Match between "The Ocho" and Adam Cole was a barbaric spectacle, embodying the essence of extreme wrestling. The inclusion of hardcore legend Sabu as the enforcer only intensified the violence on display. From start to finish, the affair teetered on a knife's edge, with both combatants unleashing their entire arsenal upon each other. ## However, the situation took a grave turn when a chain entered the fray. Cole masterfully wielded this weapon, relentlessly pummeling the leader of the Jericho Appreciation Society until it became evident that Jericho could no longer defend himself. The match was reluctantly called off, acknowledging Jericho's vulnerability. ## In the aftermath, Jericho, accompanied by Saraya, who had her own share of brutality inflicted upon her by the proficient Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., voiced their grievances on social media. Thus, the stage is set for Chris Jericho & Saraya to face off against the formidable duo of Adam Cole and Britt Baker. ## This burgeoning war between Cole and Jericho has now escalated to epic proportions, promising to etch another memorable chapter in a rivalry that shows no signs of abating. While Don Callis had already turned his back on Kenny Omega, one might ponder the motives behind Takeshita's decision to oppose The Elite. This Wednesday on Dynamite, they shall seize the opportunity to address the fervent audience, shedding light on their audacious actions and revealing the compelling rationale behind Takeshita's rebellion against The Elite. ## Tony Khan will be making an announcement with respect to AEW Collision Debut episode ## The esteemed Tony Khan is poised to grace the stage, delivering a momentous proclamation regarding the highly anticipated inaugural episode of AEW Collision. Speculation swirls as to the nature of this imminent announcement, captivating the minds of avid wrestling enthusiasts.
