Report: NXT's Nikkita Lyons Is Injured Again, Just Coming Back From An Injury

Unfortunately, injury woes continue to plague wrestler Nikkita Lyons. Just months after returning from a serious knee injury, she's once again sidelined. ## Lyons began her training in 2018, debuting as "Faith The Lioness" in Women of Wrestling. After impressing in tryouts, she joined WWE in 2021 and quickly made her NXT TV debut.## However, her momentum was halted in January 2023 by a torn ACL and meniscus. After months of rehabilitation, she triumphantly returned to action on December 12th and continued competing in several matches. Yet, her most recent bout on January 9th against Blair Davenport marked another setback.## Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Dave Meltzer confirms Lyons has sustained another injury, though details remain unclear. As always, we extend our sincerest wishes for a full and speedy recovery. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

Yuka Sakazaki Returns to AEW In A Surprising Roster Update, Joined By Mother Wayne

Fans and insiders were left scratching their heads when Sakazaki, a veteran known for her performances since AEW's debut pay-per-view in 2019, wasn't featured on the roster page on February 15th. This came after her impressive showing against Athena for the ROH Women's Championship at Supercard of Honor in March and her return to Japan earlier in 2023.## Then, in May 2023, news broke of Sakazaki's planned "graduation" from Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling by year's end, hinting at a major career shift. Her aspirations to relocate to the US and fully immerse herself in the American wrestling scene led many to believe her absence from the roster signaled a farewell to AEW.## However, Sakazaki reappeared on the roster page, quashing any rumors of her departure and reaffirming her place in the promotion. The roster update also welcomed Mother Wayne, fondly known as Shayna, the matriarch of Nick Wayne, as an official member of the women's division.## With Sakazaki's unexpected return and the intriguing addition of Mother Wayne, the AEW women's division continues to morph, promising a tapestry of engaging narratives and thrilling contests for fans to relish in the weeks to come.## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

AEW Rampage Results February 16, 2024: Highlights, Commentary, Live Update, Winners

Here are the complete results for this Friday's edition of AEW Rampage which takes place on February 16, 2024, at the H-E-B Center in Cedar Park, TX. ## AEW Rampage airs every Friday at 11 pm ET on TNT in the United States. It is AEW's second weekly television show, positioned behind their flagship show, Dynamite.## AEW Rampage Results February 16, 2024 ##' Sammy Guevara vs. Jeff Hardy (w/ Matt Hardy) in a no-disqualification match ## Jeff Hardy's neon arm sleeves and Sammy Guevara's kaleidoscope gear nearly overloaded my poor TV as they tore into each other. Hardy slammed Guevara like a hammer, then dove for a ladder only to get it dropkicked right into his chest! Talk about hero worship gone wrong - Hardy was Guevara's idol, remember?## Guevara retaliated with a superkick and a ring apron stunner, dragging Hardy back into the ring for a near miss. The fight spilled outside, Hardy whipping Guevara into chairs before launching a devastating dropkick. Back inside, Hardy tossed a chair at Guevara like a Frisbee - not exactly gentlemanly behavior!## Both men ascended the ladder, trading blows high above the ring. Hardy managed a Twist of Fate off the ladder onto Guevara, but it only got a two-count. During a commercial break, Hardy snuck another ladder under the ring while his brother Matt prepped a table.## Things got real nasty. Jeff laid Guevara out on the table and took off his shirt with theatrical flair before climbing the ladder at a snail's pace. Guevara saw his chance, pulled him down, and regained control of the match.## One of the most ridiculous spots I've ever seen involved Guevara using an open chair like a medieval torture device on Hardy's head before hitting a senton bomb off the ladder through the table. The crowd chanted "This is awesome!", but I wasn't buying it.## Back in the ring, Guevara attempted a shooting star press, but Hardy countered with his knees up. Unfortunately, that did little good as Guevara's knees connected squarely with Hardy's face. The commentary team's insistence that Hardy countered was baffling, considering the replay showed otherwise. Guevara finished the match with his GTH finisher, securing the victory. ## WINNER: Sammy Guevara ## After the match, Hardy and Guevara brawled, but for me, it lacked the flow and originality I crave. It felt like a retread of past matches, punctuated by excessive brutality (judging by the crimson aftermath).## After the bloodbath, Callis' interference added another layer of confusion. Was it a justified attack or gratuitous violence? The lines are blurring.## Moving on, Cage's "real wrestler" jab at Hook and Private Party's self-proclaimed top 5 ranking offered some amusing moments. But then came the head-scratcher: Moxley and Claudio claiming telepathic powers to target FTR. Is it serious intent, playful banter, or just plain weird? ## Finally, Ruby's interview got derailed by Saraya and Harley, leaving Ruby yearning for peace. Was it a well-timed interruption or an unwelcome intrusion? Again, the answer depends on your interpretation. ## Dustin Rhodes & Russ Von Erich & Marshall Von Erich vs Hitt, Romero Cruz & Shimbashi ## Rhodes delivered his finishing move on Cruz, securing the pinfall while simultaneously controlling two other opponents thanks to Russ and Marshal's well-timed claw holds. ## WINNER: Dustin Rhodes & Russ Von Erich & Marshall Von Erich ## Toni Storm showcased her submission skills on Mariah May. ## Darby Allin narrated a fast-paced video package recapping the Young Bucks' clash with Sting from last week's Dynamite. ## Singles Match: Queen Aminata vs. Anna Jay ## Jay dominated the early part of the match, stringing together offense. She utilized an innovative strategy by hanging Aminata in the ropes before delivering a devastating backstabber, nearly securing the win.## After the commercial break, the tide turned as Aminata rallied. She launched into a flurry of maneuvers, showcasing a suplex, a clothesline, and a powerful running PK. Despite Jay's attempts to evade Aminata's signature hip attack, Aminata connected with a well-placed sliding boot in the corner for another near fall.## The intensity escalated as Jay countered with a flatliner, again coming close to victory. However, Aminata showcased her resilience by transitioning from a sleeper hold into a near-fall pin attempt. She capitalized on the momentum, nailing a headbutt on Jay, and ultimately securing the pinfall victory. ## WINNER: Queen Aminata ## Aminata etched her name in AEW history by securing her first-ever singles victory in the promotion, defeating the formidable Jay in a hard-fought battle. Sportsmanship prevailed as both competitors shared a respectful hug after the final bell. ## Rene Paquette delved into the aftermath of Willow Nightingale's controversial win on Dynamite. While Willow expressed frustration over Stokely Hathaway's interference, Kris Statlander surprisingly took full responsibility for her teammate's actions. ## Angelo Parker and Ruby Soho sparked intrigue with an unexpected announcement. Amidst their ongoing storyline, they casually arranged a casual "date" for drinks next Wednesday, seemingly oblivious to their usual Dynamite commitments. ## The Bang Bang Scissor Gang (Jay White, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, Billy Gunn, Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) vs. Dark Order (Alex Reynolds, John Silver & Evil Uno) & Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal & Satnam Singh ## The match opened with picture-in-picture, showcasing the heels dominating Austin Gunn. Satnam Singh tagged in, showcasing his power with a headbutt and beeling Austin across the ring. Billy Gunn tagged in and gained momentum, leading to a near fall after hitting the Famouser on Alex Reynolds. Action continued with various finishers and counters, culminating in Billy and Austin executing the 3:10 to Yuma on Reynolds for the win. Jay White's involvement felt overshadowed amidst the chaos. ## WINNER: The Bang Bang Scissor Gang (Jay White, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, Billy Gunn, Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...
