Logan Paul Comments On The Botched Spot During WWE Crown Jewel 2023 Where He ‘Saved Rey Mysterio’s Life’

New York, 14 November - WWE United States Champion Logan Paul has provided detailed insights into what transpired during a botched spot at WWE Crown Jewel 2023 in his match against Rey Mysterio.## At WWE Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Rey Mysterio defended the United States Championship against Logan Paul. Despite winning the match, the finish became controversial when LWO's Santos Escobar left a pair of brass knuckles on the ring apron. Utilizing the brass knuckles, Paul defeated Mysterio to become the new United States Champion in his first reign.## Speaking on the latest edition of the IMPULSIVE podcast, Logan Paul discussed the spot at WWE Crown Jewel 2023 where he claimed to have 'saved Rey Mysterio's life.' Upon reviewing the clip, Paul acknowledged that while he thought he saved Rey Mysterio, he also nearly caused harm to him. ## “Look, I’m going to come clean, because I’ve seen all these positive headlines right, ‘Logan saves Rey Mysterio’, the mexican community going crazy, they’re praising me, saying I’m sort of a hero & so I’m like dang I’m being recognized for doing something cool I’ll take it but then I looked at the clip…& upon assessing my performance, while I did think I saved Rey Mysterio, I think I also almost killed Rey Mysterio. ## I think I was too far back for the move & I think he didn’t clear enough ground for the move, that’s what happened like…I was too far back & he didn’t clear enough ground we both made a mistake & I had to catch him & I wasn’t gonna not catch him so like truthfully while I like the headlines & I like being gassed up like this, I was just doing my job.” ## It's worth noting that Rey Mysterio is expected to be sidelined for six to eight weeks following knee surgery. Mysterio had been working through a torn meniscus for about three months. ## The exact extent of his injury and the timeline for his return are not yet known, but it is clear that he will be out of action for several weeks. This is a significant setback for Mysterio, who has been a major player in WWE for many years. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Details His Surprise WWE Return On SmackDown

Denver, 14 November - It was a surprising turn of events for the fans attending the On September 15 episode of WWE SmackDown when the biggest star in WWE made his return. On September 15, 2023, the Rock made a surprise return to SmackDown to take out Austin Theory. This marks his first televised appearance on WWE since October 4, 2019. ## Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on September 16, 2023, where he explained how his surprise WWE return on the September 15 episode of SmackDown happened. ## Johnson was in Boulder, Colorado for ESPN's College GameDay when he found out that SmackDown was taking place in Denver the night before. He called Nick Khan, WWE's President and CEO, and told him that he wanted to make a surprise appearance on the show. ## When Johnson's music hit on the SmackDown broadcast, the crowd erupted in cheers. Johnson said that it was an incredible feeling to be back in front of the WWE audience. ## It was incredible. So here's the crazy thing about that is we were in Boulder. I was there for College GameDay. And I found out the night before that WWE SmackDown was going to be in Denver, which is right up the road. So I call my buddies at WWE, Nick Khan, and I said, 'Hey man, I heard SmackDown is here. Can you confirm that?' He said, 'It is.' I said, 'Well good, The Rock is coming to SmackDown.'## I went out there -- it was really an incredible thing. I've been really lucky over the years to entertain in a lot of different ways, but that kind of connection with the WWE audience -- by the way, that kind of connection, it's just like this tonight. With a live audience, there's nothing like it.## So my music hit, ‘If you smell.’ And I went out there. They had no idea. And you guys know how hard it is to keep a secret. It doesn't exist. This was a full-on secret. The people went nuts, 13,000 people sounded like 130,000 people. And it was just incredible. So WWE audience, it's my family, I love them, and it was incredible. And by the way, I gotta say, not only is that connection just like this incredible, but there’s nothing like going to SmackDown and laying the smackdown on their candy asses all night long. ## Johnson's return to WWE was a major moment for the company, and it is sure to be one of the most talked-about moments of the year. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

It is evident that his passion for wrestling has diminished compared to earlier years, yet his lasting impact on the younger talent remains undeniable.## Cena boasts an impressive record of winning gold on 16 different occasions. This includes securing the WWE Championship 13 times, the World Heavyweight Championship three times, the WWE United States Championship five times, and the WWE Tag Team Championship twice — once with The Miz and once with David Otunga. Additionally, he clinched the World Tag Team Championship twice, partnering with Batista and Shawn Michaels. ## #3. AJ Styles (age 46): On the one hand, Styles has had an incredible career. He has been wrestling for over 20 years, and his body has taken a lot of punishment over the years. He has also suffered from a number of injuries in recent years. ## Styles has said that he wants to retire when he is still at a high level, and he does not want to go out on a sour note. He has also said that he wants to spend more time with his family. ## #4. She continues to serve as a role model for many female wrestlers, contributing significantly to paving the way for women in professional wrestling. As a WWE star, she has achieved notable success, winning the WWE Hardcore Championship once and the WWE Women's Championship seven times. ## #5. Rey Mysterio (age 49): Rey Mysterio is one of the greatest luchadors of all time, and he has had an incredible career in WWE. He is a one-time WWE Champion, a two-time World Heavyweight Champion, a two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion, a three-time WWE United States Champion, a three-time, WWE Cruiserweight Champion, a four-time WWE Tag Team Champion - with Edge (1), Rob Van Dam (1), Eddie Guerrero (1), and Batista (1) and a one-time WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion – with Dominik Mysterio. ## Mysterio is currently 49 years old, and he has been wrestling for over 35 years. John Cena Undergoes Successful Surgery On One Arm, One Arm Left To Go

Las Vegas, 11 November - John Cena underwent successful surgery on one arm following the conclusion of his latest WWE run. ## He announced the news on social media on November 10, 2023, and said that he would be having surgery on his other arm soon. The specific nature of the injuries, or when and how they occurred, is unknown.## "Thank you [orthopaedic surgeon] Jeff Dugas and your entire team in Birmingham!" Cena wrote. "One arm fixed, clean & headed for therapy ... one arm left to go! Thank you again and see you ASAP for the next one!" ## John Cena's last match was against Solo Sikoa at Crown Jewel on November 4, 2023. It was a singles match, and Cena lost after being hit with repeated Samoan Spikes to the throat.## Cena's last run was a surprise to many, as he had been focusing on his Hollywood career in recent years. However, with Hollywood on hold due to the strikes, Cena was able to dedicate his attention to wrestling again. He competed in a handful of matches, including a match against Seth Rollins and a match against LA Knight. ## Cena's last run was also notable for his feud with The Bloodline, one of the most powerful factions in WWE. Cena was able to put on some great matches with Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso. ## However, Cena made it clear that he would only be back in wrestling until the strikes ended. After his loss to Sikoa at Crown Jewel, it seemed like Cena was being written out of WWE storylines. The post-match angle at Crown Jewel, which saw Sikoa repeatedly hit Cena with Samoan Spikes to the throat, led to speculation that Cena may need surgery. However, WWE has not confirmed this. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...
