At SummerSlam, Mandy Rose Vs. Sonya Deville was scheduled to happen in a Hair Vs. Hair match, but the WWE had to nix the plan due to the restriction made by her Lawyer as the matter of Abducting her. They instead fought off in a No Disqualification Loser Leaves WWE Match.##
At SummerSlam, Mandy Rose defeated Sonya Deville as well as forcing her to leave WWE. There have no plans revealed for Sonya Deville's current in-ring return.##
While Speaking to the WWE's The Bump crews, Mandy Rose Explained on why there’s no looking back for Mandy Rose after forcing Sonya Deville to leave WWE at SummerSlam.##
Mandy Rose stated, "Honestly, I think it did have to come down to this but I didn't feel like Sonya was constantly trying to call the shots like, you know, I created the stipulation of the "Hair verse Hair" and challenged her first and it was like you would think you know, that was her biggest motive because she was constantly focused on my looks and all you have is your looks and I'm going to take all your looks away."##
"So I said, okay well if you don't care about your looks and you don't care about losing all your hair then let's have a "Hair Vs. Hair" match, but it was almost so cowardly and it was so obvious that she clearly did care about you know, she claims she doesn't care about being bald, but you know, Kayla knows all of us women obviously losing your hair is a big thing."##
"So, I mean, you know, don't sit here and pretend that you're this, you know, the super-tough woman that doesn't care about being bald because you know, she deep down inside she did care so she had to up the ante he and basically create something, you know a lot worse and that was leaving WWE, which to be honest. She should have just stuck with the hair verse hair because you know, there's a lot of things you can do nowadays front Lace Wigs. I mean, come on. She's a job. So I feel like yeah, I don't know. That was if that was the best call on her part."##
Mandy Rose on if there is any remorse in the last several days the fact that she was literally the one who ended, you know, her former best friend's career or is that type of mentality gone now like after everything that's happened."##
Mandy Rose stated, "There's really no remorse. I think I showed I showed some remorse prior to the match and I think I felt you know like I'm going to be the bigger person. Let me give her another shot. She didn't want to take it. So then I was like, oh Okay. Well now you're gonna have to deal with this and to be honest, you know, she should have thought it through more thoroughly through, you know, clearly because she now she's without a job."##
"So, you know, that didn't really work out too. Well, so, I don't really I don't feel any remorse honestly. I'm so relieved to have her out of my life, and I don't have to be worrying about her popping up anywhere in the hallways or wherever it may be because now I can just focus on my career focus on myself and you know what I have in mind next.
Mandy Rose on what was her initial thought when Sonya Deville tweeted this just simple, "Goodbye".##
"Yeah, once I saw that I tweeted, you know, she should have thought that through more by creating that stipulation, and I said, bye. Bye so. Yeah, it is what it is. is right. I mean not my problem. I'm on to the next one, " Mandy Rose explained.##
