WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship will be on the line at WrestleMania 38. ## At WrestleMania, Queen Zelina & Carmella will attempt to retain their Women’s Tag Team Championship against Sasha Banks & Naomi. ## On the Feb 25. edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Sasha Banks made an explosive return to the blue brand when she defeated the rebellious Shotzi with Naomi watching from SmackDown commentary. After the match, Naomi stunned the WWE Universe when she entered the ring and declared that she and Banks were the future Women's Tag Team Champions. ## On the February 28th edtion of Monday Night Raw, WWE featured a backstage segment where Carmella and Vega accepted the challenge. ## WrestleMania 38 will take place on Saturday, April 2 and Sunday, April 3 from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Finn Balor Wins WWE United States Championship

Finn Balor is the new United States Champion now. ## After handily defeating Shelton Benjamin on Raw, United States Champion Damian Priest was in the mood to issue another open challenge. Promising to defend his title this Monday on Raw, the champion invited anyone in the locker room to step up. ## That call was answered by Finn Bálor, who was fresh off his return to action in a tag team victory alongside Tommaso Ciampa earlier in the night. Bálor gladly accepted the challenge and battled tonight on WWE Raw. ## At the end of the match, Priest set for Reckoning but Balor landed an elevated DDT followed by a dropkick into the turnbuckles. Balor finally got to win the gold after performing Coup de Grace for the three counts. ## Bálor was the inaugural WWE Universal Champion. Report: Brock Lesnar Vs. Roman Reigns May Not Be Winner Take All-Championship Unification Bout At WrestleMania 38

WWE is leaning on making Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns one of the biggest matches in WWE history. ## The table has been set. 2022 Royal Rumble winner and WWE Champion Brock Lesnar has chosen to battle Roman Reigns in The Biggest WrestleMania Match of All-Time. It's WINNER TAKE ALL in a highly anticipated Championship Unification Match on WrestleMania Sunday. ## With this match, WWE is set to unify the WWE and Universal Championship. However, on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that the deal will be similar to when WWE reunited the titles in the past. This is because the company still wants two champions, one for each brand. ## Meltzer is reporting that it is not feasible in the modern wrestling environment for each show not to have a champion, given that they are on separate networks. But the match in April is still very much planned to be a unification bout after the contract signing took place on SmackDown last week. ## There is still a chance that this particular bout may not happen at all. That is because Brock Lesnar is set to defend his WWE Championship at Madison Square Garden this weekend. Should the Beast get through that test, then he is on a collision course to face Roman. ## WrestleMania 38 will take place on Saturday, April 2, and Sunday, April 3 from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Current WWE tag team Los Lotharios have been rebranded as Lethal Lovers, new reports suggest. ## The two teamed as Los Lotharios since 2021, appearing mainly on SmackDown, but new report from Fightful confirms that Internally on run sheets and match listings, the duo are also now listed at "The Lethal Lovers" Los Lotharios. ## The duo of Humberto Carillo and Angel Garza have added a new part to their name. WWE's upcoming non-televised live event is going to be a spectacular one, due to its match card. ## As noted, Paul Heyman revealed during RAW that Bobby Lashley would challenge WWE Champion Brock Lesnar at MSG. Lashley is currently facing shoulder surgery, and Heyman noted that if Lashley is unable to compete, then he would find a suitable replacement for the MSG match.## WWE still has not acknowledged Lashley’s shoulder injury as his storyline absence is a potential concussion suffered at Elimination Chamber. It’s been reported that Lashley could miss up to 4 months after having shoulder surgery, but there’s been no update since then. ## So, if not Bobby Lashley, then I would expect to have Seth Rollins up in the line. It was listed in several places on WWE.com on Friday that Lesnar vs. Reigns will now be a championship unification match at WrestleMania 38. ## WWE also said on tonight's SmackDown that Lesnar vs. Reigns would be a title unification match. Lesnar holds the WWE Championship, while Reigns is the Universal Champion. ## Lesnar vs. Reigns is being pushed as the biggest WrestleMania match of all time. It was announced earlier today that Lesnar vs. Reigns will be the main event of WrestleMania 38 night two on Sunday, April 3. A contract signing for the match took place on SmackDown which saw complete chaos from Brock Lesnar. ## Lesnar vs Reigns was made official for WrestleMania after winning the men's Royal Rumble match this year. Update On Why Brock Lesnar Went Off-Script During WWE Elimination Chamber Match

WWE held this year's Elimination Chamber PLE on February 19, 2022, at the Jeddah Super Dome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, making it the first to take place outside of the United States, and the first to be held on a Saturday. It was also WWE's first previously-established event to take place in the country. ## In the main event Brock Lesnar conquered the competition in his first Elimination Chamber Match to win the WWE Championship and punch his ticket to The Show of Shows for a Title vs. Title Match against Universal Champion Roman Reigns. ## Later it was reported that Brock Lesnar Went Off-Script At WWE Elimination Chamber. There was a moment during the match, With Lashley being taken out of the chamber and ruled ineligible by medics due to concussion protocols, Lesnar got tired of waiting and burst through the plexiglass of his pod to enter the match, immediately dispatching both Rollins and Riddle with a pair of quick F-5s. ## Mike Johnson of PWInsider previously noted that this wasn’t something planned beforehand for the bout.## Now, New details are being revealed on WWE Champion Brock Lesnar going off-script at the Elimination Chamber last weekend. ## WWE had already removed Lashley from the match with the injury angle. The timer went off for Lashley’s entrance and the idea was that his pod would still open for his entrance as it was his turn to come in, but he wasn’t there. Lesnar obviously knew Lashley was going to be taken out of the match, but he did not know they were going to signal for Lashley’s pod to open, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. ## It was noted that Lesnar figured he was next, but he also knew that WWE was running low on time and had a hard-out for when the show had to be over. Lesnar reportedly thought Lashley’s pod opening was a mistake, and that his pod was supposed to open, so he physically broke out of his pod, and then entered the match. ## The other participants apparently knew there would be a quick rush to the finish, and they still had spots to do, before Lesnar came in, but they also knew that when Lesnar came in, it was time to just get destroyed.
