Punk was also seen making an appearance on last week's edition of Monday Night Raw. ## After celebrating his return on Monday Night Raw, Punk is now set to reemerge on SmackDown. ## United States Title Tournament Matches: Dragon Lee vs. Santos Escobar: ## This week's episdoe of Friday Night SmackDown will feature a pair of United States Title Tournament Matches. In the first match, Dragon Lee will battle Santos Escobar. Both Superstars will look to progress in the tournament, with a chance to face U.S. Champion Logan Paul on the line. ## WINNER PREDICTION: Dragon Lee ## United States Title Tournament Matches: Bobby Lashley vs. Karrion Kross ## Plush, another dynamic United States Title Tournament Match, “The All Mighty” Bobby Lashley will take on Karrion Kross in a first-time-ever showdown. ## WINNER PREDICTION: Bobby Lashley ## Randy Orton & LA Knight vs. Jimmy Uso & Solo Sikoa ## Randy Orton is set to join forces with LA Knight to face off against the Bloodline duo of Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. CM Punk Confronts Some New Challenger From The Blue Brand ## Since CM Punk is a (kayfabe) "free agent," he can appear on any WWE brand. Punk has featured in two consecutive episodes of Raw since making his return to WWE at Survivor Series: WarGames. Now, Punk is set to reemerge on SmackDown.## For the time being, CM Punk is only announced to appear on the show, but it's possible that he could be facing stars from the blue brand. ## #3. Ridge Holland vs. Bobby Lashley ## Despite an extraordinary effort from Butch, The All Mighty laid waste to him last week on SmackDown. So, there is a high possibility that Ridge Holland could be up against Bobby Lashley. ## #4. Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka of Damage CTRL To Face Some Intruption ## In the wake of the brutal Women’s WarGames Match at Survivor Series, Charlotte Flair will go to battle against Asuka. Since Kairi Sane made her return to WWE, Asuka has somewhat aligned herself with Damage CTRL. For sure, Sane would be ringside to secure a win for Asuka. So, there is a possibility that we might have a DQ finish. ## #5. Kevin Owens Provides An Update On His Injured Hand ## Last week on SmackDown, Logan Paul made a return to announce an intense battle for the No. 1 Contender spot to the U.S. Title. The contenders included Santos Escobar, Bobby Lashley, Dragon Lee, Karrion Kross, Austin Theory, Grayson Waller, Kevin Owens, and a Superstar from NXT. ## Kevin Owens confronted the Social Media Superstar and delivered a punch to the emerging Austin Theory's face. Additionally, Dominik Mysterio and Dragon Lee had an impressive title showdown. ## Another highlight of the night was the match between Drew McIntyre and Kofi Kingston, which got the crowd excited. Notable wrestlers like Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Becky Lynch, Tegan Nox, and more also appeared on the show. ## Let's check out the top 5: ## #1. Finn Balor and Damian Priest Defeated Kevin Owens And Sami Zayn To Retain Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships ## In this Monday's Raw main event, Finn Balor and Damian Priest beat Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn to keep their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships. It was a tough challenge for The Judgment Day to defend their titles, but with JD and Dominik's assistance, they held onto the titles in their second defense against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. ## #2. Dominik countered with a DDT on the apron. ## Dominik attempted a Frog Splash from the top, but Lee thwarted him by getting his knees up. Lee executed a German Suplex, while Dominik responded with a Michinoku driver for the cover, but Lee kicked out at two and a half. ## Dominik went for a 619 but missed when Lee moved away. Lee went for the cover, but Dominik kicked out. Lee prepared for a DDT, but Dominik countered and climbed the ropes, hitting a Frog Splash for the cover and securing the win. ## #3. Drew McIntyre defeated Kofi Kingston; Ivar Attacks Kofi and Woods ## The bell rang, and the match started off. Drew knocked him down near the ropes. Kofi delivered a huge dropkick and then pummeled him in the corner. Drew executed a Suplex followed by a shoulder tackle. Kofi responded with a massive Dropkick that sent Drew over the top ropes. Kofi went to the top rope and performed a Crossbody. Kofi leaped off the apron in an attempt to take him down. McIntyre got back in the ring, and Kofi, from the top rope, went for a Crossbody for the cover, but there was no win there. ## After the break, Drew had been dominating for quite some time. Kofi went to the top rope and attempted his move, but Drew countered it into a Belly-To-Belly throw. Drew followed up with another move, hitting a neckbreaker. Kofi tried for a Trouble in Paradise, but Drew turned it into a DDT for the cover, yet Kofi kicked out at two and a half. ## Drew went for a clothesline, but Kofi blocked it and sent Drew to the floor. Drew attempted to get back in, but Kofi kicked through the ropes and then executed a Suicide dive, sending Drew back into the announce table. Drew hit a reverse Alabama slam onto the apron. ## Drew missed a Claymore kick. Kofi managed to hit an SOS for the cover but didn't secure the win. Drew received a forearm from Kofi. Drew retaliated with a headbutt. Meanwhile, we saw Ivar come from behind and attack Woods outside the ring. Drew got back into the ring and hit Kofi with a Claymore kick for the three-count, winning the match. ## After the match, Ivar got into the ring and attacked Kofi, while Drew walked away as he had done the very last time. Ivar went to the top and performed a moonsault to take out Kofi. ## #4. Seth Rollins vs. Shinsuke Nakamura In A Last Man Standing Match Made Offical For WWE Fastlane ## Next up, WWE Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins took the mic to cut a promo. Rollins began by taking a shot at Nakamura and called him out to accept his challenge for a match. Nakamura appeared on the Titantron and expressed his desire for a Last Man Standing Match against Seth Rollins. ## Rollins agreed to have the match at WWE Fastlane. ## #5. Tommaso Ciampa defeated Ludwig Kaiser ## The match kicked off with Kaiser knocking him down. Kaiser got Ciampa on the top rope and hit him to knock him down. Kaiser sent Ciampa into the steel steps. Kaiser delivered a dropkick that sent Ciampa out of the ring. Ciampa responded with a clothesline that sent Kaiser into the ring. ## Both were outside, and Ciampa sent him into the steel steps. Ciampa attempted the Willow's Bell for the cover, but didn't secure the win. Ciampa executed a DDT, but there was no cover made. Vinci tried to create a distraction but received a kick from Ciampa. Kaiser took advantage and hit him with the enzuigiri. ## He went for the cover, but it was a near fall. The referee was trying to get Vinci away, keeping busy over there.
