Brock Lesnar Vs. Roman Reigns Announced For WWE SummerSlam 2022

Brock Lesnar Vs. Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title has now been added to WWE SummerSlam 2022. ## As noted, Roman Reigns defeated Riddle to retain the Unified WWE Universal title in the main event of Smackdown on June 17th 2022. After the match was over, Brock Lesnar made his first appearance on WWE television since Wrestlemania 38. ## Lesnar offered a handshake to Reigns but then gave Reigns an F5. Lesnar also gave an F5 to The Usos and the announcers teased the idea that Lesnar wants his title back. ## Now it's official, Brock will challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title in a Last Man Standing Match at SummerSlam. SummerSlam is considered WWE's second biggest event of the year behind their flagship event, WrestleMania. It is also considered one of the company's five biggest pay-per-view (PPV) events of the year, along with WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, and Money in the Bank, referred to as the "Big Five". ## In addition to PPV, the event has aired on the WWE Network since 2014 and Peacock since 2021. The inaugural SummerSlam took place on August 29, 1988, at Madison Square Garden in New York City. ## During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, that year's SummerSlam was WWE's first PPV produced from their bio-secure bubble, the WWE ThunderDome. ## After the promotion resumed live touring with fans in July 2021, that year's SummerSlam was promoted as the "biggest event of 2021" due to WrestleMania 37 having to be held at a reduced venue capacity. RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Riddle) take on AJ Styles and Omos for the Raw Tag-Team Championship at WWE SummerSlam 2021. ## Check Out The Full Recap Below: ## Orton and Styles kick the things off, A beautiful suplex by Randy Orton followed by a stomp to the hand. Orton with a tag to Riddle who kicks off with a Moonsault as Styles steps out. ## Now, Omos gets to tag in, he is making things easy to win. Riddle with a Slipper hold, but Omos gets him down. Styles follows up a massive DDT as he tags in. ## AJ Styles with another Snap backbreaker. Styles is completely taking over Riddle. Meanwhile, Styles pushes towards as Riddle follows up a knee to Omos, Riddle ducks Styles over the top ropes and gets the tag with Orton before Styles could stop him. ## After putting a lot offense, Orton prepared to land an RKO, but then Omos pulls him out of the ring. Orton looks around and twists to the mat for the RKO but Omos pulls AJ out of the ring. ## Omos catches Riddle off the apron and Omos choke slams, Riddle, on the apron. AJ drops Orton on the top rope. Riddle sends Omos into the ring post. AJ with a Moonsault off the apron and then hits a reverse DDT on the floor. ## AJ sets for a Phenomenal Forearm and Orton rolls out of the way and Orton goes for an RKO but AJ with a rollup. Goldberg's knee is absolutely done. Lashley sends Goldberg into the turnbuckle. Nikki gets involved and takes Flair off the apron with a Boot. ## Nikki is putting some offense to Ripley, Flair is back to the ring, she once again takes Nikki out of the ring and digs her eyes on Ripley.## All three women are into the ring. She just rocked Nikki and Ripley. ## Nikki and Ripley are back to the ring, while, Flair stands on the apron. Ripley uses her boots to take her off.## Both Nikki and Ripley fight off, Flair soon gets involved, Flair with a Figure Four leglock on Ripley, but Nikki breaks the submission. Later, Edge Vs. Seth Rollins added to WWE SummerSlam 2021. ## At SummerSlam, two of the most intense Superstars of any generation will go to war when Edge takes on Seth Rollins in a highly personal matchup seven years in the making! ## The bell rings as the crowd has a massive pop for Edge, Edge drops Rollins with a right hand, Rollins checks his nose. Edge with a Headlock and then sends Rollins over the top ropes. ## Rollins is looking frustrated, Rollins makes his way back to the ring, Edge back him down with a couple of punches, another counter by Edge as he sends Rollins over the top rope. ## This time Edge isn't giving Rollins time to regroup, Edge puts some damages and gets some from Rollins. Rollins drives Edge's neck into the steel steps, Rollins now sends Edge back into the ring followed by a Suplex for the near fall. ## Rollins is just wanting to punish Edge, Edge is trying to fight back with a couple of punches into the mid-section, Rollins with a massive Slingblad for near fall. Edge avoided a Stomp from Rollins. ## Rollins is having some trash-talking with Edge, the crowd pop for Edge as he gets up, Rollins from the top to follow up a knee. Rollins is looking for a Neckbreaker, Edge blocks and instead slams him into the canvas.## Rollins is top rope, Edge goes right after, Rollins with an elbow to take him off, Rollins goes for a Frog Splash for near fall.## Edge and Rollins are up to the top rope, Edge is able to get out with a Spinning-Turning Neckbreaker. Edge with a Boot to the face, a massive execution from Edge for a near fall. ## Edge has another immediate near fall, Edge is now over the top of the ring post, Rollins immediately climbs and gets Edge through a massive Superplex, Rollins with Falcon Arrow for near fall. ## Edge avoids a Stomp and catches Rollins for a Grand Slam for near fall. This match is filling the momentum. Edge is hung up to the top rope, Rollins looking to end the match with a Stomp on the apron, but Edge avoids it. ## Edge instead turned around with a Spear through the ropes to take Rollins off the apron. Edge drags Rollins into the ring for near fall. ## Edge is prepared for the Spear, but Rollins counters it with a Pedigree for near fall.
