Karan Johar Announces His Next Film On His Birthday, Shoot Starts From April 2023

Mumbai, May 25 - Karan Johar who is one of the most successful directors of this generation has announced his new film today. Today is a special day for the filmmaker as it is his birthday so announcing his next venture is a good decision.## Sharing the news on his Twitter handle Karan Johar said that after wrapping up Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani which stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, He will move on to his next film which is going to be in action space. The director to date has never directed an action film and it will be very interesting to know how this film turns out to be. ## Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani will release on 10th February 2023 coinciding with valentines day weekend. Karan Johar made his directorial debut in 1998 with super blockbuster Kuch Kuch Hota Hai which went on to become the highest-grossing film of that year. He followed Kuch Kuch Hota Hai with another blockbuster Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham which was the second highest-grossing film of its year after Gadar Ek Prem Katha.## There is nothing that has been announced on the possible star cast but according to some reports, The film will star two new generation actors though as we said, Nothing has been confirmed by the makers. Mumbai, May 24 - The next event film from the Hindi film industry "Prithviraj" is gearing up for the mega release on the 3rd of June 2022. Produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films, Prithiviraj is a historical action drama directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi. ## Prithiviraj is based on Prithviraj Raso, a Braj language epic poem about the life of Prithviraj Chauhan, a Rajput king from the Chahamana dynasty. But from the last few years, that exception has become the norm as the South dubbed films are not only grossing huge but also competing with the biggest Hindi blockbusters. ## The top 2 highest-grossing films in the Hindi language are not original Hindi films but the dubbed Hindi films from the South. Baahubali2 was the first dubbed Hindi film that created havoc on huge levels across all the Hindi-Speaking states. Earlier, South films used to have a decent run in Mumbai only and they never got the all-India acceptance. Baahubali 2 The Conclusion went on to smash every box office record. The main reason for the postponement of "Jersey" is Yash-fronted "KGF: Chapter 2", which also opens on April 14 and is having a sensational advance booking in Hindi.## KGF2 will now come solo on 14th April and has a shot for a 50 crores opening day. The first day is a big holiday and KGF2 being a mass film is sure to have humongous spot bookings.
