Mumbai, January 29 - The mega-blockbuster Pathaan continues to dominate the box office as the early estimate suggests around 62 crores net on the first Sunday. No other film in history has collected even 55cr on any single day in Hindi while Pathaan has done that multiple times which is nothing but an extraordinary feat.## The Sunday number will come as the second-highest single day ever just behind the second day of Pathaan. The top 3 single days are of Pathaan only at 68 cr, 60 cr*, and 57 cr. The film has broken each and every record to date by a huge margin and it would be impossible for any film shortly to break these records. ## The first Sunday collections will take the entire extended five-day weekend collections to around the 280 cr mark. Only 7-8 Hindi films have collected more than Pathaan in their lifetime run and Pathaan will cross all those films to be at the top. Dangal is the highest-grossing film in the Hindi film industry at around the 390cr mark and Pathaan should cross this number by next Sunday.## A lot will depend on Monday and the film should hold well. The two most important days for a long grosser are always Monday and Friday and if Pathaan manages to hold well on these two days for the next couple of weeks then the film will have a shot at the legendary 500cr club as well which to date has been crossed only once and that too by Bahubali2 - The Conclusion which is the biggest hit of last 20 years.## Stay tuned...

Mumbai, January 28 - Pathaan goes berserk again on the first Saturday of its box office run with the early estimates suggesting the collection to be in the range of 55cr net. These are early numbers and the final may vary from the actual but one thing is sure Pathaan has scored another half-century at the box office. ## The first Saturday collections will take "Pathaan" entire box office collections to around 221cr net and the film is set for a bigger Sunday number. The extended five-day weekend will be eyeing the 275 crore mark. It remains to be seen whether it ends the weekend. ## The film has emerged as the highest-grossing film of Shah Rukh Khan's career in just four days defeating Chennai Express. It is the fastest 100 crores and 200 crores earner of all time and it will also cross the 300 crores mark in the fastest time. ## These types of collections are simply unheard of especially in post-pandemic times. There is complete madness all around, across circuits and nobody has an idea where this film will land eventually. The box office records are smashed left, right, and center.## The film will defeat Dangal which is the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time and will cross the 400cr mark easily. The KGF2 business of 435Cr net is well within the range as well but for that Monday is going to be very important. Pathaan Third Day/First Friday Early Estimates; Extraordinary Hold

Mumbai, January 27 - Pathaan is simply ripping apart the box office on the third day of its run. The first two days saw record single-day collections but those were helped by the craze and a holiday on the second day, but the extraordinary hold today confirms that the film is a blockbuster. ## The early estimate suggests the movie is heading towards 34-35 crores net on Friday. The drop from yesterday will be around 50% depending on the final numbers. Today is a crucial day for Pathaan as it was a working day but the content and star power of the film defeated that. These are early estimates figures and the final collections could vary but even if it comes slightly lower than 35 crores it will be an outstanding hold.## The 35cr Friday collections will take its entire collections to around 162cr which is a new record for a three-day weekend film and that too by a big margin. The previous three-day weekend record holder was KGF2 at around 140cr while for the Hindi film industry, it was Sanju at around 120cr net and Pathaan obliterated these records. ## Pathaan will see a big jump tomorrow and the film might cross 200cr collections by the end of the day. The five-day extended weekend numbers will be in the range of 250cr give or take 5cr. The first Monday collections will determine whether the film will cross 400cr collections or not. At the moment that magical 400cr looks well within the range the way, the film is putting the numbers.## Shah Rukh Khan is back at the box office who had a series of flops and underperformers though his stardom was unquestioned you always need numbers on your side and Pathaan did that for Shah Rukh Khan. Mumbai, January 26 - Pathaan, which took a mega bumper opening on the first day by collecting 57cr net box office collections in all the versions has gone to another level on its second day which is simply outstanding as the first day itself was the record single day for Bollywood.## Today was a huge national holiday in the form of Republic day and Pathaan being an already-established blockbuster has gone to another level. The biggest growth has come in centers that were lacking on the first day which is a huge boost. The mass centers of North where Shah Rukh Khan starrers underperform have seen extraordinary collections today due to the holiday and the genre.## The early estimate collections suggest 65+ crores net, which is more than anything else released at the box office in the Hindi version beating its own record. The collection might touch 70 crores as well as mass centers behave like a monster today. The first two days are record single days for Pathaan and the only other film which repeated something similar to this was Salman Khan starrer Dabangg in 2010 when the first three days of the film emerged as record single days. Here the third day will be tough but not impossible the way film is behaving at the box office. ## The first two collections will take the entire collections of Pathaan to over 122cr net (official data awaited). "Pathaan" has emerged as the highest weekend in the Hindi film industry in flat two days. It also became the first film which crossed 100cr in two days only. The weekend record of KGF2 of around 140cr will be crossed easily as it will need less than 20cr on Friday. The real target is to achieve 150cr weekend which is not much of an ask and Pathaan should cross it easily as well. Mumbai, January 25 - The most awaited film of the year Pathaan starring Shah Rukh Khan hit the screens today and there is no word to describe the mammoth opening of the film at the box office. The huge opening was always on the cards going by the advance sales. The advance suggested that the opening is going to be around 45cr but the mass centers have gone bonkers which enabled the film to record a huge walk-in audience and now we are witnessing history as Pathaan is heading toward 50+ crores net opening day. ## The early estimate suggests 50+ crores net mark and but this could go higher to 55 crores. The film has a shot to beat KGF2 to record the biggest opening ever in Hindi. It is certain to join KGF 2, War, and Thugs of Hindostan which collected 50cr net collections on their opening day. KGF2 is the Biggest opener ever at 53.95cr in the Hindi version and the question is whether Pathaan will beat KGF2 to emerge as the next record opener or not will only be answered tomorrow when the actual arrives. Pathaan might beat KGF2 or might remain behind by a few crores but one thing is sure in real value Pathaan is the biggest opener ever as all these 50cr openers were released on national holidays but here Pathaan smashed records on a working day which is unprecedented.## There is no recent film In the last few years that took an opening similar to the level of Pathaan be it on holiday or on holiday. The only film that comes to our mind is Dhoom3 released in 2013 which recorded similar mass hysteria on nonholiday. The national chains will record their highest collections ever and that too by a good margin. The mass centers will also record extraordinary numbers similar to what event films were registering before the pandemic. There will be many circuits that will see new highs in terms of collections with Nizam/Andhra probable one followed by West Bengal.## Shah Rukh Khan is back at the box office with a bang and proved why he is a superstar. He was written off after a series of failures but we believe, Superstars with massive fan following should never be written off. Also, Yash Raj Films deserves huge applause for presenting Shah Rukh Khan in a manner that the public wants to see him. In fact, Yash Raj Production house is the only production house that presents Superstars like Superstars be it Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Hrithik Roshan. As long as Superstars are being presented as Superstars the records will keep shattering at the box office. ## The first day came on the strength of hype and star power and now it's important how the film behaves from here on. Tomorrow is a huge national holiday and this is the biggest plus of Pathaan as it is an already established blockbuster day before. Tomorrow the collections could go anywhere and the film will be in a position to break all-time records. Mumbai, January 23 - The advance booking of Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham's Pathaan which started with a thunderous response has broken every record of Hindi films in terms of collections. The film has already beaten the weekend advance of War which was the previous record holder of Bollywood.## Pathaan is a part of Aditya Chopra's ambitious "Spy Universe" which started with Ek Tha Tiger in 2012. Going back into the database, we found that each film of the spy universe has set booking opening day records when they were released. ## Ek Tha Tiger (2012) was the first film in the universe and that film recorded approx 12 crores in advance business in 2012 which was the highest amount collected before release. The sequel, Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) also emerged as the highest advance booking film with approx 24.75 Cr collections.## War (2019) was the last film of the spy universe and the film had a booking collection of around 26 crores which was a record-breaking advance for any Hindi film. Pathaan currently has approx. 22 crores pre-sales for the opening day and it will go past War to record the highest advance collections. ## Pathaan is set for a mega-release on 25th January worldwide and the film is expected to break many long-standing initial records. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan in the title role along with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Not only the year 2022 witnessed very fewer hits but also there have been so many huge disasters like Circus, Laal Singh Chaddha, Ram Setu, Thank God, Bachchan Pandey, Heropanti2, and Jersey among others.## 2023 is a very important year for the Hindi film industry. There will be many huge event films released on the big festive weekends of 2023 but we have picked up 5 films that carry the maximum potential and if the content of these films clicks the sky will be limited in terms of business at the box office.## Tiger3 is the biggest event film of 2023. It's 3rd part of the Blockbuster franchise which started in 2012 with Ek Tha Tiger which went on to become the second-highest-grossing film in history. The film is carrying huge expectations due to the Raju Hirani factor as to date he has directed five major hits at the box office with a 100% ratio. Dunki will release on Xmas 2023 weekend.## Adipurush which has been in the news for multiple reasons is seen as a potential box-office blockbuster. The Om Raut-directed is based on the epic Ramayana and features Prabhas as Lord Rama along with Kriti Sanon as Sita and Saif Ali Khan as Raavan. It is scheduled to release on June 16, 2022.## Animal whose first poster was just released and getting immense positive feedback is another film that might do wonders in 2023. The film is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga who earlier directed the super blockbuster Kabir Singh which was the biggest hit of 2019. Ranbir Kapoor who is the most popular star of the young generation might deliver another blockbuster next year. The film will release on 11th August 2023 coinciding with Independence day weekend.## Pathaan which will start at the 2023 box office from 25th January onwards is probably the hottest film in the first half of 2023. Directed by Sidharth Anand who has earlier directed War which became the highest-grossing film of 2019 Pathaan stars Shah Rukh Khan in the title role along with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Mumbai, December 25 - Cirkus, which had poor collections in the first two days, continues its low business at the box office on Sunday despite being a national holiday. The film is probably the biggest disappointment of the year as it had a superhit director and a massive star cast and was released on one of the best weekends of the year, Christmas. ## As per the early estimates, the movie scored an estimated approx. 7.50 crores which is just a 15% jump when the film needed a 70-80% jump to record decent first weekend collections. The first Sunday collections will take the weekend collections of the film to around 20cr net depending on the final Sunday collections. The weekend collections will be less than the opening day collections of the previous Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh starrer "Simmba" which was released on the same weekend in 2018 and was a blockbuster.## Mumbai circuit is the only circuit where the film has found some audience but that is due to the insane track record of Rohit Shetty and not because of the content. Rest all other circuits have seen disaster collections. The first weekend has proved to be a killer for the film and it will lose most of its shows from Monday onwards. Avatar 2, which is simply running riot at the box office will get the maximum number of shows. Drishyam 2 whose run was almost ended might become the second choice now and the film might add some extra crores to its lifetime total. ## Overall 2022 proved to be one of the worst years ever for the Hindi film industry and the hope is that the industry should be back on track in 2023 with mega-event films lined up. The biggest shocker for the film is that Mumbai, Pune, and Thane all these places which do blockbuster business for Rohit Shetty films are seeing awful collections.## The first Saturday collections will take the first two days' collections of "Cirkus" to around the 13.50 crores net box office mark which should have been the opening day collections of the film. Tomorrow is a huge national holiday and if Circus fails to see huge growth then the film is likely to be a disaster which will be the first for Rohit Shetty who has an incredible career as a director with a close to 90% success ratio. ## There is a huge week full of holidays to follow which would have helped the film but seeing limited growth on the second day indicates that the Circus is a rejected film. Mumbai, December 23 - The last big release of the year for the Hindi film industry, "Cirkus" has been released today at the box office. The film was much anticipated as it stars Ranveer Singh and it is directed by Rohit Shetty who is probably the most successful director of the last 15 years. The film has been made on a huge scale and also the first film of this actor-director combo Simmba became a blockbuster at the box office so it was carrying tremendous expectations. ## Cirkus opened to lukewarm response in the morning shows all over the country which was expected from the advance booking of the film as the advances were the lowest of all the major releases of 2022. But generally, Rohit Shetty's films open well at the box office, especially in Mumbai and Gujarat circuits as his films give the local Maharashtrian vibes but this time even Mumbai and Gujarat have seen dull occupancies throughout the day which is nothing but a shocker for the Industry.## As per the early estimates, "Cirkus" has scored around 7.00 crores net which is average collections but when you bring the scale and budget of the film into consideration then the opening is poor. No circuit in India collected well barring Mumbai but even Mumbai is not collected as it should have been for this Rohit Shetty comic caper. Rest all the circuits have seen a disaster turnout.## There is a huge Saturday and Sunday to follow for Cirkus and the film should show big gains in the next two days to record healthy first-weekend collections. The big plus for Circus is that there is a huge holiday week lined up from 25 Dec to 1 January and with no other film being released this makes Circus the only film in the theater other than Avatar2 so it will get an advantage but the content has to be there to satisfy the audience.## Stay tuned...
