Makers of 'Radhe Shyam' Assure Timely Release Of Epic Saga

Hyderabad, Jan 2 (IANS) In the wake of the postponement of 'RRR', the makers of Prabhas-starrer 'Radhe Shyam' have said there is no change in the release date of the movie.## Fans seem to be worried about 'Radhe Shyam's release but the makers have denied rumors of postponement.## The official statement from UV Creations said, "There is no change in the release plans of 'Radhe Shyam'. The Prabhas-starrer is gearing up to hit the screens on January 14. Don't believe the rumours".## The makers, hence, released a new poster with the release date from 'Radhe Shyam', which assures the fans that there is no postponement regarding the 'Radhe Shyam' release.## Starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde as the lead pair, 'Radhe Shyam' is scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on January 14. Citing 'RRR's postponement, rumours are rife that 'Radhe Shyam' might get postponed too.## In the wake of the Omicron variant spread, people are worried about a possible Covid wave. So, the state governments in India are slowly starting to take necessary precautions by bringing in certain restrictions regarding theatre seating and travel regulations.## S.S. Rajamouli and his team had decided to postpone 'RRR', which is one of the most-awaited pan-India movies.## 'Radhe Shyam' on the other hand, is all set to hit the screens on January 14. These New TV Shows To Watch Out For In 2022

Mumbai, Jan 2 (IANS) As 2022 has already knocked on the door and we become witness to a new dawn, the TV industry is also set to bring some new dramas for its audience.## Take a glimpse of what you can watch on your television sets in 2022.## Hunarbaaz - Desh Ki Shaan## The show will be bringing diverse talents from every nook and corner of the country. Bollywood actress Partineeti Chopra has been roped in for the reality show 'Hunarbaaz'. She will be joining Mithun Chakraborty and Karan Johar on the panel of judges. The show will be airing soon on Colors.## Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey## The show will play along the lines of how a loving family functions. It is a Hindi remake of the Bengali show 'Khorkuto'. Produced by Leena Gangopadhyay, Rajesh Ramsingh, Pradeep Kumar, Saibal Banerjee, Pia Bajpiee, and Shaika Parveen, the show stars Manan Joshi and Yesha Rughani in pivotal roles. The family drama 'Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey' will start on January 3 at 7 p.m. on Star Plus.## Swarna Swar Bharat## The devotional singing reality show - 'Swarna Swar Bharat' will have renowned poet Kumar Vishwas and veteran singers Kailash Kher and Suresh Wadkar as judges and they will evaluate performances of the contestants on parameters of 'sur', 'bhaav' and 'saar'. Popular actor Ravi Kishan will be seen as the host. It will be airing soon on Zee TV.## India's Got Talent## The talent-based reality show 'India's Got Talent' will be judged by theatre, film, and TV personality Kirron Kher, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, rapper Badshah, lyricist, poet, and screenwriter Manoj Muntashir. The show will be hosted by Arjun Bijlani. The show is all set to start on January 15, 2022, on Sony Entertainment Television.## Fanaa - Ishq Mein Marjawaan## Reem Sameer Shaikh and Zain Imam have been roped in for upcoming romantic thriller 'Fanaa - Ishq Mein Marjawaan'. Reem Sameer will be portraying the character of Paakhi, an eternal optimist girl, running an event management company. Zain, on the other hand, will be seen as a businessman and tech-genius, Agasthya. It also features Akshit Sukhija playing the character of Ishaan. Recently Sony Entertainment Television has shared the promo on their official social media account. 'Superstar Singer 1' was judged by Himesh Reshammiya, Javed Ali, and Alka Yagnik. The singing reality show will be airing soon on Sony Entertainment Television.## Sab Satrangi## Set in the backdrop of Lucknow, this show revolves around the Maurya family, featuring protagonist Mankameshwar a.k.a. Manu played by actor Mohit Kumar, a good-hearted and hardworking man. Joining him is Dayashakar Pandey who plays Shyam Babu, his father, and Joyoshree Arora as a grandmother. The show will be airing soon on Sony SAB.## MTV Roadies## The adventure-based reality show 'Roadies' is all set to return with its eighteenth season. The shooting of the show will start from January end in South Africa. During its last season, Rannvijay Singh was the mentor and host. Mumbai, Jan 2 (IANS) Actor-filmmaker Ajay Devgn has revealed that he has a very busy year ahead courtesy of his projects lined up and that he will be going to work every day.## Talking about what 2022 looks like for Ajay, the actor in a conversation with IANS said: "I've got a directorial - 'Runway 34' scheduled in April; I got an OTT release, 'Rudra: The Edge of Darkness' sometime in February-end or March. I'm starting two to three new films".## The actor shared what he wishes for.## "I like to just think I'm going to work every day. That's all I ever want and wish for".## His 2022 also includes special appearances in 'RRR' and 'Gangubai Kathiawadi'. Ajay will also be seen in 'Maidaan' and Indra Kumar's 'Thank God'.## He will begin the shoot for the Hindi remake of 'Kaithi' and Rohit Shetty's 'Singham 3'. Tamil Comedian Vadivelu Recovers From Covid-19

Chennai, Jan 2 (IANS) Tamil comedian Vadivelu, who was undergoing treatment for Covid-19 at the Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre (SRMC) in Porur, has recovered.## In a statement, the hospital said that the actor had recovered completely and that he was discharged in good health.## Vadivelu, who was screened at the Chennai airport on his return from London, tested positive for the virus.## The actor had gone to London along with members of his 'Naai Sekar Returns' unit for a music scoring session for the film.## Interestingly, days after actor Vadivelu tested positive for Covid-19, his film's director Suraj too tested positive and was admitted to a private hospital.## 'Naai Sekar Returns' will mark the return of Vadivelu back to the big screen.## Stay tuned...

Mumbai, Jan 1 (IANS) Actress Emma Watson, who played the part of Hermione Granger in the 'Harry Potter' films, once considered leaving the franchise, reports Entertainment Weekly. ## Emma with her co-stars from the franchise appeared on 'Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts' special, where she opened up about going through a stressful time. ## Emma said, "I did find a diary entry that was kind of like. I could see that at times I was lonely." Later in the special, she mentions, "The fame thing had finally hit home in a big way." ## Director David Yates said that when he came on to direct the remaining Harry Potter films starting with 2007's 'Order of the Phoenix', producer David Heyman and Warner Bros told him, "Emma is not sure she wants to come back to do another Potter." ## Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy in the film franchise said, "People definitely forget what she took on and how gracefully she did it. Dan (Radcliffe) and Rupert (Grint), had each other. I had my cronies, whereas Emma was not only younger, she was by herself." ## However, nobody had to convince her to stick with the franchise till the end as Emma said, "The fans genuinely wanted me to succeed and all genuinely have each other's backs." ##

Los Angeles, Jan 1 (IANS) 'Piano Man' legend Billy Joel has compared Taylor Swift to The Beatles and insisted the 'Shake It Off' hitmaker is this generation's version of the Fab Four. ## Asked for his opinion on current artists, he told USA Today: "Adele is a phenomenal singer, kind of a (Barbara) Streisand throwback. Taylor (Swift) is also a very talented girl and she's productive and keeps coming up with great concepts and songs and she's huge." ## He added: "You have to give her high marks. She knows music and she knows how to write. She's like that generation's Beatles." ## Meanwhile, the 73-year-old musician said while he doesn't listen to much pop music nowadays, his kids keep him up to date and they love hearing contemporary stars referencing the 'Piano Man' legend. ## He added: "My kids listen to pop music - I really don't too much - and I'll be in the car with them when they make me turn (the radio) on and I might hear a reference to me. Della came home from school one day and said, 'Daddy, everybody knows who you are!'." ## Joel shared that despite the younger generation knowing who he is, as a child he never listened to "his parents' music". ## He said: "When I was a kid, my generation didn't take to my parents' music. They liked classical but also Sinatra and probably Perry Como and those kinds of singers. We kind of left them in the past and moved on to the new stuff, the Elvis generation and the Beatles generation and disco and the '80s." ## "We weren't a back-looking generation and there are a lot of younger people now looking backward and they like their parents' music, which is a strange phenomenon." ## "I look out (in the crowd) and see so many young people. I'm grateful for it, especially because they make more noise. It's a great mix." ##

In one picture the two are seen locking lips for the camera. She also said that she wants to spend every new year with Anand. ## "Happy new year to the love of my life. Chennai, Jan 1 (IANS) One of Tamil cinema's yesteryear heroes Mohan is to make a comeback to the big screen with director Vijay Sri's upcoming film 'Hara'. ## Mohan, whose films were known for their mellifluous songs, has acted in a number of blockbusters including Mani Ratnam's cult classic 'Mouna Ragam'. ## Mohan, who was determined to act only if he got a good role, rejected many character roles that came his way. ## The actor chose to watch director Vijay Sri's critically acclaimed film 'Dhadha 87', which features Kamal Haasan's brother Charu Haasan in the lead. He also watched the teaser of 'Powder', the director's upcoming film featuring publicist Nikil Murukan in the lead. ## It was after this that he chose to listen to the story narrated by Vijay Sri. Sources say the actor instantly gave his nod to the script and that he was fully satisfied that his many years of waiting had finally paid off. ## Sources say 'Hara' would underline the need to teach children IPC rules, just like how they are taught first aid, good touch and bad touch in schools. ## 'Hara' is to be produced by S.P. Mumbai, Jan 1 (IANS) The latest promo of 'Bigg Boss 15' shows superstars of Bollywood Salman Khan and Dharmendra recreating the iconic bike scene of 1975 blockbuster 'Sholay' which featured Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra. ## Both the actors are seen opening the 'Weekend Ka Vaar' episode sitting on the bike and dancing to 'Shaam Shandaar' song. Dharmendra says: "I am here Gabbar." Salman replies: "Gabbar, I am coming." ## Later, Bharti Singh is also seen having some fun banter with Dharmendra and enacting another famous scene of Ramesh Sippy's 'Sholay' in which Veeru (Dharmendra) threatens to jump off a water tank to force Basanti (Hema Malini) to accept his proposal. ## Bharti with a bottle in her hand says: "If I am not your dream girl, at least I am your drum girl.
