Chennai, Dec 28 (IANS) Stating that what he loved the most about his film 'RRR' was the fact that he had found a brother in his co-star Jr NTR, actor Ram Charan said 'Tarak' had the mentality of a child and the personality of a lion.## Participating in the special pre-release event of 'RRR' in Chennai on Monday, Ram Charan started his speech by thanking everybody associated with the film.## He said, "I don't know if I should call him my guru or headmaster or principal or guide or my director who gave me my first hit in the industry. I thank Rajamouli sir for having made a film with the two of us together. Thank you for giving us an opportunity and for giving me a brother like Jr NTR".## Stating that there was just a year's difference between him and Jr NTR, Ramcharan then said that in real life though, Tarak has the mentality of a child and the personality of a lion.## "You have to be a little careful with him," the young actor said with a laugh and admitted that he thoroughly enjoyed working with Jr NTR, also known as Tarak.## "I am thanking everyone else but I will not thank Tarak because I want to thank God for giving me a brother, a relationship. So, thank you God. If I thank him, I feel this relationship will end here. I want to keep this relationship, this movie. Dil Raju, who addressed the gathering, spoke on the movie's success.## Dil Raju also conveyed that Nani is being targeted for no reason. Backing Nani for his comments on the movie ticket issue, Dil Raju said that Nani had spoken on issues faced by the Telugu film industry, but his words had been deliberately twisted.## "Nani was the only actor who gave up two theatrical releases. Rajamouli has contended that actor Ram Charan's next movie with 'Pushpa' director Sukumar will be a blockbuster. ## Rajamouli spilled the beans on Ram Charan's upcoming movie under Sukumar's direction. ## The excited 'Baahubali' director said, "Sukku had narrated the opening sequence of Ram Charan's movie under his direction. As far as I know, this particular scene will be a blockbuster. If I reveal more than this, Sukumar will get an attack! So, all I can say is, it will be one of the biggest hits". ## After delivering a blockbuster with 'Rangasthalam', Ram Charan and Sukumar are set to collaborate again for a pan-India project. It is reported that Sukumar has already penned the story for the film. ## Sukumar will start the movie after he wraps up the second part of 'Pushpa' with Allu Arjun. ## Ram Charan is currently working with Tamil filmmaker Shankar Shanmugham for a political drama. Hyderabad, Dec 27 (IANS) Big-budget Telugu movies readying for release have been surrounded with the fear of postponement amid rising concerns over the Omicron variant. ## Earlier in March-April, when it seemed like things were getting back to normal, the second wave of the Covid pandemic wreaked havoc. ## With movies postponed, shelved, and even canceled, the Telugu movie industry was badly hit by the pandemic. ## With Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, and Shriya Saran in the lead roles, S.S. S.S. Thaman to score background music for 'Radhe Shyam' for south versions

Hyderabad, Dec 27 (IANS) The much-awaited multilingual film 'Radhe Shyam' has multiple music directors for songs as Mithoon composed songs for the Hindi version while Justin Prabhakaran composed for south Indian languages. ## Now leading Telugu music director S.S. Thaman is also on board for 'Radhe Shyam' as he is set to score the background music for the south Indian languages. ## The makers of 'Radhe Shyam' made an official announcement regarding the same. UV Creations production house took to Twitter to welcome the ace musician on board. ## Sharing a picture that features Thaman posing with 'Radhe Shyam' director Radha Krishna Kumar and U.V. Hyderabad, Dec 27 (IANS) Actor Nani, who has been vocal about various issues faced by the Telugu movie industry, admits that there is no unity in Tollywood. ## During the release of his movie 'Shyam Singha Roy', the 'Eega' hero had actively participated in multiple promotional activities. ## In one of his interviews, the actor talks about the ticket pricing issues in Andhra Pradesh. ## "We have problems here. And it would have been nice if everyone would have come out to defend each other," Nani said. ## "We lack unity. I wish this statement wasn't true. But we missed sorting the problems together." ## Nani also mentioned that the industry must have stood stronger when the movie 'Vakeel Saab' was released itself. ## The Andhra Pradesh government had slashed movie ticket prices and it was seen as retaliation for leading star Pawan Kalyan's political ambitions, which was evident from the release of 'Vakeel Saab'. ## Now that the state government has been ordering theatre raids, Nani is the only Telugu actor who has spoken on these issues apart from a few who support him. ## Nani was also targeted by the ruling YSRCP leaders, surrounding his comments recently. "I am not even aware of his existence. Who is Nani? Hyderabad, Dec 27 (IANS) Telugu star Jr NTR is geared up for the release of director S.S. Rajamouli's epic 'RRR', co-starring Ram Charan, and he shares his thoughts on the film. ## The 'Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava' actor, who has been quite busy promoting 'RRR' had an exclusive chat with IANS. ## Jr NTR explains how Rajamouli has evolved as a filmmaker. ## Having worked with Rajamouli when he was just getting started, Jr NTR believes that Rajamouli has only grown hungrier to make more movies of great significance. ## "The success quotient of S.S. Rajamouli has become exponentially bigger. His vision has become a macro-scale. But, as a person, he is still the same 'Jakkanna' to me," Jr NTR said. ## Ram Charan's plays Alluri Seetharama Raju, which has a few cinematic references. But, for Komaram Bheem played by Jr NTR, there is no single reference about the character. ## When quizzed about the same, Jr NTR said, "It is true that Komaram Bheem has no cinematic references." ## "We all grew up hearing the stories about these heroes. We all would have imagined a figure and its characteristics, right? For a Rajamouli movie, you have to undo almost every detail you ever have imagined or assumed." ## He further explained, "So, even though there is a reference, we have to undo those details." ## "So, it was totally Rajamouli's imagination that you will see on the screen. Only the characters are real, the story surrounding them is totally fictional. We did multiple workshops together, to get into the skin of the characters." ## Jr NTR explains that Rajamouli has imbibed realistic features of the 'Gond Veer' Komaram Bheem, while the story is completely fictional. ## On being asked about his bond with Ram Charan and their director complaining about their 'pointless brawls' on the sets of 'RRR', Jr NTR said they had a well-grounded explanation. ## "When we have such a big project we are working on, everything gets intense on the sets. As I am an intense person myself, I get deeply engrossed in the work." ## "So, it is legit that we have such fun-filled breaks," he said. ## Jr NTR further explained, "There were times where we all used to break out in laughter. As Ram Charan and I were friends from earlier times, there were no boundaries." ## "We had to take breaks because the pressure of working for a mammoth venture, needs to be in equilibrium." ## "There are a lot of inhibitions for the actors to come together to make movies. I am proud to say that Charan and I have worked together to bring back the lost culture of two big stars working together for a movie." v "The first two minutes will be Ram Charan's and NTR's individual fans watching the movie. But, the third minute, it is the movie fan, the audience, leaving behind the fandom", Jr. NTR said, when he talks about their individual fandoms. ## On January 7, 'RRR' will hit the screens. Naveen Polishetty Joins Anushka Shetty's Next Telugu Film

'Pushpa' music director Devi Sri Prasad to make acting debut shortly

Chennai, Dec 26 (IANS) Music composer Devi Sri Prasad, who scored the music for dirctor Sukumar's superhit film 'Pushpa - The Rise', has disclosed that he is to make his debut as an actor very soon. ## Talking to the media, the ace music director, who is popular in both the Tamil and Telugu film industries, said, "My target was only to be a musician which is why I refused a few acting offers initially. But the pandemic has changed my perception. It got me thinking and I wanted to try everything that I am good at. So very soon I will make my debut as an actor. Work for that has already begun." ## The music director was visibly pleased with the success of 'Pushpa's songs in all the five languages that the movie released in. ## He said, "I am really happy and excited. The effort that went into all the songs has really paid off. It almost took me one month to complete each and every song in the film. I meticulously selected the singers to suit a particular language. ## "In fact, Andrea Jeremiah who sung the 'Oo Solriya' song in Tamil was busy shooting. She took permission from the shoot and sung the song. I am thankful to all the singers and lyricists who cooperated well. ## "Sid Sriram was excited to sing 'Srivalli' as he felt this was something new to him. All five songs look more authentic in their respective languages. We were clear that this is not a dubbing film, but a pan-Indian flick and we wanted the quality to be on par with it." ## To another question on how he handled success, Devi Sri Prasad said, "Whether it is success or failure, I always take it to my heart and not to the mind. We put in the same effort for all songs and some of them become hits and others do not. We will have to be prepared for both.
