Mahesh Bhatt Directorial Sadak 2 Makes Unwanted Double

Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt returned as a director after almost 20 years to direct the sequel of his 1991 film, Sadak. Kartoos, that was released in 1999 was the last movie of Mahesh Bhatt as a director before Sadak 2 starring the original cast of Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt along with the new addition of Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur. ## Sadak 2, however, ditched the conventional theatrical release due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and instead, it premiered on the OTT platform, Disney+Hotstar on August 28. Sadak 2 was one of the movies announced by Disney Plus Hotstar on June 29 and was one of the most awaited movies. However, upon its release, it was declared an outright disaster by the critics and the viewers. ## The much-hyped union of the Bhatts with Sadak 2 has proved to be a damp squib. Despite having a talented star cast, this action drama film has now gone on to become the lowest-rated film on IMDb, surpassing the 2015's Turkish film, Code Name: K.O.Z. that rated 1.3 on the website. Sadak 2 currently stands at 1.0 rating after over 56K votes. ## Previously, Sadak 2 had also become the most-disliked movie trailer video on YouTube. The trailer has received over 12 million dislikes till now, in comparison to 707K likes, and the responses to the songs were on similar lines. Amid rising Covid-19 cases in the country, the government of India on Saturday (August 29) announced Unlock 4 guidelines. Under the government's new guidelines, more economic activities have been allowed to re-open, however, there is no respite for the theaters which will remain shut until September 30. ## Theaters or cinema halls have been closed even before the country went into lockdown on March 25. Saaho Box Office Collection: Apart From Hindi, Prabhas And Shraddha Kapoor Starrer Was A Collective Disappointment

Pan India star, Prabhas and Bollywood diva, Shraddha Kapoor starrer action thriller movie Saaho has completed one year from its release. This Sujeeth directorial multilingual movie hit the theaters on August 30 with a lot of expectations in terms of entertainment. However, despite having a multi-star cast, the movie couldn't live up to its expectations. ## Saaho was an overall disappointment even though the Hindi audience loved the film. It disappointed in the other languages as the audience felt that the story of the film was confusing and somewhere the Prabhas magic despite some glimpses, was also missing in this UV Creations' production. And resulted in, the audience was left despondent by the collectively average performance from the rest of the cast which included Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey, Vennela Kishore, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Murali Sharma, and others. ## Talking about its box office collection, Saaho opened up with a massive number as the audience was curious to watch their favorite stars. On Day 1, it collected INR 89 crores with the large contribution from the Telugu language of INR 60.40 crore. However, after day 1, with reviews started to come, the collection dropped heavily on weekends as it earned INR 55.10 crore and 56.78 crores on Saturday and Sunday respectively. ## With bad reviews all around, the movie could never able to get the momentum back and kept slipping as the days progressed. The Indian Air Force was the first of the country's defense forces to induct women into combat roles in 2016. Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: Show-Cause Notice Sent To Cooper Hospital And BMC For Giving Mortuary Access To Rhea Chakraborty

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput's mysterious death has left the nation in shock. The Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI) is currently probing the death along with Enforcement Directorate (ED) and now the Narcotics department after the latest revelations. ## As per the latest development in the case, the State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) has slapped a show-cause notice to the Cooper Hospital along with Mumbai Police and Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Wednesday demanding an explanation for granting mortuary access to Rhea Chakraborty when the postmortem was being conducted, according to IANS. ## Treating the matter as a priority, the SHRC has ordered the police and civic authorities to submit their detailed explanation in the matter by Monday.## SHRC Acting Chairman M.A. Sayeed confirmed to IANS but declined to elaborate. However, official sources said that the SHRC officials had viewed the video and news reports of Rhea Chakraborty's June 14 visit to the mortuary of R.N. Reliance Entertainment CEO Shibasish Sarkar has said that in the scenario that theatres fail to open up by a certain time or audience doesn't come, then they can go for the OTT route as they don't want to push the release date furthermore.## Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Shibasish Sarkar said, "We are 100% inclined to take theatrical route. However, at the same time, we don't want to delay the release further than practically possible. That means we will not like to push release dates beyond Diwali / Christmas.
