Luv Ranjan Plans To Revive His Action Drama Film With Ajay Devgn and Ranbir Kapoor

Mumbai, March 9 - Director Luv Ranjan's maiden collaboration with Ranbir Kapoor, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has been released in theaters and doing well at the box office. ## Before TJMM, Ranjan had announced an action drama film featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgn in 2018 and even had a release date for Christmas 2020 but it was shelved due to some reasons. During a recent media interaction, Ranbir and Ranjan discussed the action drama and it was revealed that the movie got canceled due to date issues. ## While that film got shelved, the duo of Ranjan and Ranbir eventually collaborated for TJMM which the director offered the actor during the same time. Now, as the movie has come out in theaters and doing well, Ranjan revealed that he would love to revisit the action drama if both Ajay and Ranbir agree to do that. ## "That is one film I definitely want to make. But that film needs patience and time to start. We can't be like okay, in the next 6 months, we will make it. We announced that film in 2018 and it has been 5 years since that too", said Ranjan, as per Bollywoodbubble.## "Do I want to make this film after TJMM? Yes, I do. But I can't assume that Ajay sir and Ranbir too would want to be a part of it still. After TJMM releases, if I still feel that I want to revive this film, which till now I do, I would go to them. And if they say yes, I will definitely make it", he added.## Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor only has "Animal" for which around 25 days of shoot left as the movie is scheduled to release on August 11. After "Animal", the actor will take a break for 5-6 months and then will start Ayan Mukerji's "Brahmastra Part 2 - Dev". Mohanlal and Ajay Devgn's 'Drishyam 3' To Be Shot Simultaneously In Malayalam and Hindi?

Mumbai, March 9 - Malayalam superstar Mohanlal's suspense thriller Drishyam 3 is reportedly in the works and the scripting is said to be underway already for the same. It has been one of the most successful franchises and is hailed as director Jeetu Joseph's finest writing work. ## Drishyam is one of the Malayalam films that worked when it was remade in other languages also. Ajay Devgn, who has led the Hindi remake of the franchise, has tested big success with it. The Abhishek Pathak-directed Hindi version of "Drishyam 2", which was released last year, grossed over 340 crores worldwide. ## It was recently reported that the threequel to Drishyam will be shot simultaneously in both Malayalam and Hindi languages. Shooting Schedule For Akshay Kumar's 'Khel Khel Mein' and 'Sky Force' Revealed

Mumbai, March 8 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar will be teaming up with director Mudassar Aziz and producer Dinesh Vijan for two different films. While there is no official confirmation from the makers yet, Akshay's film with Mudassar is reportedly titled "Khel Khel Mein" and "Sky Force" is the title of Vijan's production. ## Akshay is at present on a tour to the US for his live concert titled "The Entertainers". Soon after, he will head to Europe to commence work on the international schedule of director Ali Abbas Zadar's highly-anticipated "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan", co-starring Tiger Shroff. He is expected to call a wrap on BMCM by mid-April this year.## Now, according to the latest reports, right after Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Akki will move on to Khel Khel Mein, which is an out-and-out comedy entertainer. Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar Opening Day Early Estimates; Off To A Good Start

Mumbai, March 8 - The big Holi release of the day "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar" starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor has been released in theaters. The Luv Ranjan's directorial took a good start in the morning shows and since then the film has seen only an upward trajectory. The night shows are fantastically driven by multiplexes. The opening day early estimates collections suggest in the range of 14 crores net which is a good number for a rom-com genre film. The opening day number came due to the chartbuster music and fresh pairing of Ranbir and Shraddha. The opening ranges from decent to good to even excellent in some centers but the overall number suggests a good opening. If it was a normal Friday release then the film might have crossed the 15 crores net mark easily.## Last Year's Holi release "Bachchan Pandey" collected around 13 crores net on the first day though it had a clash with Kashmir Files which was running riot at the box office. The opening of TJMM is at par with Bachchan Pandey which was a mass film for the northern audience where Holi is one of the biggest festivals. ## The reports of the film are good so the film can score good numbers from this opening day. Ideally when a film does around the 15cr net mark and the reports are positive then the film should cross the 100-125cr net box office mark and this should be the target of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar. The real value opening of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar would be known by tomorrow's collections as today the collections were helped by the Holi holiday in most of the circuits. ## The film might show a drop tomorrow as it will be working Thursday not Saturday where the collections get boosted in the night shows. Mumbai, March 7 - Director Luv Ranjan's first film in 4 years, romantic-comedy Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor is finally hitting theaters worldwide tomorrow (March 8), more than 3 years after it was first announced in 2019.## Ranjan's last directorial, "Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety" was a blockbuster so the expectations are high from TJMM which carries bigger star power. Though a lot has changed over the last few years, TJMM is seeing a better response in the advance booking than the previous few Bollywood movies this year, also than the SKTKS. ## Produced by T-Series and Luv Films, TJMM has sold approx. 84K tickets worth approx. 2.50 crores as of 7 PM on March 7 for the opening day. The advances for the first day are expected to finish over 100K tickets, the second biggest for a Bollywood movie in 2023. ## Looking at the advance booking response, TJMM is looking to take a double-digit start as the opening day could be somewhere around 10-13 crores net, which is a much better start than Ranjan's SKTKS which opened at 6.42 crores net and went to score approx. 109 crores lifetime net collection. ## TJMM is releasing on Wednesday, coinciding with Holi weekend. The Morning shows might see a slow start on the opening day due to the festival but the rest of the day will behave like a holiday. Last year, Akshay Kumar's "Bachchhan Paandey" opened at 13.25 crores on Holi, and TJMM is expected to open in a similar range. Mumbai, March 4 - The King of romance, Shah Rukh Khan is officially the King of action as his latest blockbuster Pathaan has shattered all the existing records at the box office for a Bollywood film and that too, with ease.## The spy action thriller started its box office journey on January 25 and after 38 days, "Pathaan" is now the biggest blockbuster ever in India in a single language. It has crossed the lifetime net collection of SS Rajamouli's epic blockbuster "Baahubali 2" which scored 510.99 crores net in Hindi in 2017. ## Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan" is now the biggest Indian as well as a non-Indian movie at the domestic box office as far as the net collection is concerned. Khattar has played the role of Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta.## The movie was originally announced to release in 2021, before makers postponed it to December 2, 2022, due to the covid-19 pandemic which delayed the shoot. When it was looking on track for December 2022 release, the makers postponed it again due to an unknown reason and they are yet to lock the new release date. ## The makers are eyeing only theatrical release as the film is made for the big screen.
