Anees Bazmee Shares An Update On Shahid Kapoor's Action Comedy Film

Mumbai, June 12 - It is known to everyone that director Anees Bazmee and actor Shahid Kapoor are teaming up for the first time for an action comedy film. The makers haven't made the movie official but both Shahid and Bazmee have confirmed the movie in previous interviews.





The yet-untitled movie is one of the most interesting Bollywood projects and the rumours are making rounds regarding the film's shoot. Now, director Bazmee has shared some exciting news regarding the same.





During a conversation with Pinkvilla, the "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2" director said that he presently writing the script and has already completed a lot of portion of it. The filmmaker didn't confirm the exact timeline of the shoot but said that they are looking to July or August to start shooting the movie. Shahid will reportedly play a double role in the movie with Dil Raju bankrolling it.





Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor already has a couple of films in the pipeline. The actor has Maddock Films' yet-untitled romantic comedy, scheduled to release later this year. The movie, co-starring Kriti Sanon, is currently in the post-production stage. He also has Malayalam director Rosshan Andrrews' thriller movie that will go on floors soon.





Anees Bazmee, on the other hand, also has "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3" which will start rolling in early 2024. He also has an action-comedy film with Zee Studios while the sequel to "No Entry" is also in development but no timeline has been set yet.
