Warner Bros. 'Dune Part 2' To Re-Release In India And 'Interstellar' To Also Return; Date Announced
Mumbai, March 10 - Warner Bros. Pictures has announced the re-release of Academy Award-winning film Dune: Part 2 in India. The Denis Villeneuve's directorial sci-fi epic won the Best Sound and the Best Visual Effects Oscars at the 97th Academy Awards held recently. ## On Monday (March 10), the studio took to social media to announce that Dune 2 will re-release in Indian cinemas on March 14, also in IMAX. It will be a limited release for only 7 days, just like the studio's recently re-release title, Interstellar.## Originally released in March 2024, Dune 2 did decently at the Indian box office with a gross collection of 36+ crores ($4.10+ million). It was still among the top Hollywood grossers of the year in the country. It needs to be seen if it can cross 50 crores mark after the re-release.## Meanwhile, there are reports that Warner Bros. will also bring Interstellar back to Indian cinemas on March 14. It was a success in its recent repeat run with over 20 crores gross collection but due to the limited run of 7 days, fans have been asking for another round.
