Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge Day 26 Box Office Collection: Ranveer Singh's Spy Thriller Hits Rs. 1,718 Crore Worldwide; Overseas Collections Show Signs of Exhaustion as India Net Crosses Rs. 1,088 Crore
Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge collected ₹5.20 crore nett on its fourth Monday, showing a very solid hold as it continues its historic run. This represents a drop of exactly 48 percent from the previous Monday (Day 19), where the film had collected ₹10.00 crore. Across India, the movie is still running on a massive scale with 10,286 shows. This steady performance on Day 26 brings the total India net collection to a staggering ₹1,088.62 crore. If the film continues this pace through the rest of the week, it is well on its way to closing its fourth week with a total around the ₹50 crore mark. If we look at the language breakdown, the Hindi version remains the undisputed king of the collections, contributing ₹5.00 crore on Monday with an occupancy of 12 percent. The South-dubbed versions are now nearing exhaustion, with the Telugu version bringing in ₹0.12 crore and the Tamil and Kannada versions contributing smaller amounts. Currently, the total India gross stands at ₹1,303.37 crore. While the Aditya Dhar directorial is comfortably sitting in the ₹1,000 crore club in India, the Hindi version alone is still marching toward its own individual milestones, even as newer releases begin to take up screen space. However, the international market is finally starting to show signs of fatigue. For the first time in its 26-day journey, the overseas collection dropped into the lakhs, earning ₹0.75 crore on Monday. This drastic dip from previous days suggests that the film has almost exhausted its run in major foreign territories. Despite this slowdown, the overseas total gross has reached a massive ₹415.25 crore, pushing the worldwide gross collection to an incredible ₹1,718.62 crore. While the international run might be nearing its end, the global total has already surpassed most industry expectations. Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge sold 104K tickets on its fourth Monday, staying ahead of several other trending titles like Chhaava and Kantara Chapter 1. While it trails behind the likes of Pushpa 2 and Jawan in daily trends, maintaining such high ticket sales this late in its run is a testament to the film's strong word-of-mouth. However, with the upcoming release of Dacoit, the film is likely to see another drop in show counts and occupancy as screen sharing becomes more competitive. Looking toward the future, the industry is also preparing for the arrival of Bhooth Bangla. The makers have confirmed that bookings for that film will open on April 14, just three days before its full release. This is a very strategic move designed to create a sense of urgency and a massive rush for tickets in a short window. As Bhooth Bangla takes over the spotlight, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge will likely face its toughest challenge yet. Nevertheless, the performance of this spy actioner has been nothing short of monstrous, and even though the daily numbers are finally starting to normalize, the run is far from over as it heads toward its final lifetime target.
