Box Office: The Kashmir Files Day 14 Early Estimates

Mumbai, March 24 - "The Kashmir Files" has done the unthinkable and hit the double century mark at the domestic box office. The Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri-directed has become the first Hindi film since Ajay Devgn-fronted "Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior" in January 2021 to cross the 200 crores net mark at the stroke of the second week. On the second Thursday, TKF scored an estimated Rs. 7.50 crores, taking the total domestic net collection to 206.57 crores. It has become director Agnithori's first film to enter Rs. 200 crores club and 25th overall in Hindi of all time. TKF currently (including 2nd Thursday) stands at number 21 in the all-time biggest Hindi film. It has crossed "Golmaal Again" (205.69 Cr.), "Good Newwz" (205.09 Cr.), "Mission Mangal" (203.08 Cr.), and "3 Idiots" (202.47 Cr.) in the 200 crores club. Based on true facts of the exodus of the Kashmir Pandits in Kashmir, TKF has a shot to touch Rs. 300 crores club in India. It might end up in the top 10 highest-grossing Hindi movies of all time. It will be an extraordinary feat for the film that has been made on a budget of just Rs. 20 crores, the lowest for any film in the Rs. 200 crores club. In a conversation with Pinkvilla, the writer confirmed the development and said, "I had shared the story idea with Bhai (Salman Khan) sometime back and he liked it. Mumbai, March 21 - Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri's "The Kashmir Files" has hit the double century mark at the worldwide box office, becoming the first Indian film of 2022 to achieve the feet. ## Based on the exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits, TKF has achieved the box office milestone in just 10 days, which is an extraordinary feat for a low-budget film. The film had scored 97.30 crores net in the first week while the second-weekend collection lent on 70.15 crores (3rd biggest of all-time). ## The film was declared tax-free in some of the Indian states which helped the makers to earn more profit. Thanks to government support, the net collection of TKF reached 167.45 crores in just 10 days (194 cr. gross).
