Dhoni: The Untold Story will be re-released in cinemas on May 12, 2023. ## Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the movie is based on the life of former Indian cricket captain, MS Dhoni. Dhoni has been one of the finest captains India has ever produced. Under his leadership, India won three ICC tournaments and two Aisa Cups.## Sushant Singh Rajput played the role of MS Dhoni in the movie which is considered as one of the finest sports biopics ever made. Yash Raj Films Developing A Female-Centric Spy Actioner With Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone

Mumbai, May 4 - Yash Raj Films is reportedly working on a female-led spy action thriller film with Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone. Both Katrina and Deepika have been an important part of YRF's Spy Universe and now, the studio is planning to make a proper big-budget film, revolving around their characters in this blockbuster universe. ## Katrina has played the role of ISI agent Zoya in the two Salman Khan-fronted "Tiger" movies in YRF's Spy Universe while Deepika was introduced in Shah Rukh Khan-led "Pathaan" in which she played the role of ISI agent Rubai. ## The details regarding the project have been kept under wraps for now. The timeline regarding where the movie will fit in Spy Universe is also not known yet. Salman Khan Confirms A Film With Karan Johar's Dharma Productions

However, it also features an emotional love story between a husband and wife. Mumbai, April 27 - Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor-fronted romantic-comedy Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has completed 50 days in theaters, a sort of achievement at a time when most of the films are not even lasting one week. ## Directed by Luv Ranjan, the movie was released on March 8 amid a decent buzz. It was touted to revive the rom-com genre in Bollywood which has over the years produced some of the biggest classic rom-com. It was not easy for TJMM to survive as a section of media and audiences were out there to bash it in full force. ## The movie found appreciation among the general audience, who without caring about the negativity thronged to cinemas and made it a box office success. Word of mouth among the paying audience has been on the positive side, and as things stand today, it is the second highest-grossing Bollywood movie of the year at the worldwide box office. ## TJMM has grossed around 222 crores worldwide, including around 175 crores domestically and around 48 crores at the overseas box office. It is one of the highest-grossing romantic-comedy films of all time, and coming in the post-pandemic times when the atmosphere is completely different from what it was a few years back, makes it a memorable film. ## Apart from the box office success, the music of TJMM has proved to be a chartbuster and one of the best in recent times. Hrithik Roshan To Shoot Heavy and Action-Packed Climax of Director Siddharth Anand's 'Fighter'

Mumbai, April 27 - Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan has been shooting for director Siddharth Anand's aerial action thriller Fighter which is one of the most anticipated Indian movies in the making. The movie also has Deepika Padukone as the female lead along with Anil Kapoor in a prominent role.## The shoot of "Fighter" has been going on since last year, and now, the team is heading towards the last leg of filming, including the epic climax scene. According to Pinkvilla, the makers are preparing for one of the biggest climaxes which is touted to be the major highlight of the movie. ## The anticipation around "Fighter" is high and the makers are living no stone unturned to make it an experience worth remembering for the audiences. ## "The team will be shooting for over 120 hours for this action-packed climax scene, which will take about 25 minutes of screen time in the film. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan First Wednesday Early Estimates

Mumbai, April 26 - Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan which took an expected hit in collections yesterday has shown another drop but a better hold today at the box office by registering around 20% fewer collections compared to yesterday. The early estimate collections suggest around 5 crores net on Wednesday. ## The first Wednesday collections will take the total collections of the film to around 88cr net mark and now the 100 crores net in the first week is out of the equation. The film will hit the 100 crore mark on the second Friday or Saturday. It is the hold on the second Friday that will determine the fate of the film at the box office.## The collections and the hold in mass centers are fabulous but at the same time, the multiplexes are recording dull collections. The core Hindi mass belts have seen a good turnout which is a big plus as post-pandemic these audiences were the ones that the Industry has lost and now they are coming back with Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. ## The film will be an underperformer at the box office especially because it stars Salman Khan who has a mega box office record since the beginning of the last decade. The word of the mouth of the film has been on the mixed side and that is now coming to the equation. Makers React To The Rumours of Asim Riaz Joining Salman Khan-Fronted 'Kick 2'

Box Office: Salman Khan's 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' Gets The First Taste of Negative Reviews

Mumbai, April 26 - After enjoying festive first few days, Salman Khan's family action drama Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has got the first taste of negative critics reviews and audiences' word of mouth in its box office collection after it dropped by 40% on the first Tuesday, one of the biggest first Tuesday drops for an A-list star post the covid-19 pandemic. ## Directed by Farhad Samji, "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan" was probably the least hyped Salman Khan film in many years, plus, the pre-Eid release ensured it takes an underwhelming opening of around 13.50 crores net. Not many films scored much after the low start, especially with the negative reviews but it has proved that such things don't apply to Salman and his stardom. ## After an underwhelming start, KKBKKJ jumped by nearly 90% on its second day, Eid for around 25.75 crores net, followed by another jump on Sunday for around 26.60 crores. It managed to score a decent to good opening weekend of around 67 crores, purely because of the huge pull of Salman. ## There was fear that the movie would tank on Monday, however, being a partial holiday in some places, KKBKKJ did well by holding strong for around 10.20 crores net, but the negative reviews were going to hunt it at some point and this happened on the next day, i.e. Tuesday on which it scored just around 6.10 crores, a harsh 39.82% drop from Monday. ## The total net collection of the film after 5 days is 82.15 crores, and one would feel that such box office numbers with poor reviews in the post-pandemic times could become possible only because of Salman Khan's stardom. In current times, when superstardom is becoming irrelevant, KKBKKJ was a litmus test for Salman to show his star power, and he managed to prove it to some extent. ## However, despite all odds, KKBKKJ was destined to cross 100 crores net, a landmark box office figure most of the films have failed to achieve in the post-covid-era. Mumbai, April 25 - Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has seen a drop today as the early estimate collections suggest around 7.50-8 crores net. The film has shown around a 30% drop from yesterday. A drop around 20% would have been a good hold.## The first Tuesday collections will take the total collections of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan to around 83.50 crores net mark. The film has an outside chance to hit 100cr net box office collections in the first week but for that, it has to hold superbly well in the next two days. ## By the second Friday, KKBKKJ will easily cruise past the 100cr net which although is not a benchmark anymore, especially for a superstar like Salman Khan these are respectable numbers coming post-pandemic when only a handful of films have gone over the 100cr mark in their lifetime run. ## The footfalls of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan till now are more than most films that had a similar business as the major chunk of collections is coming from single screens and not from the premium multiplexes.
