Kartik Aaryan's 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' Teaser To Be Attached With 'KGF: Chapter 2' In Theaters!

Mumbai, April 12 - Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan will be making his comeback on the big screen with the upcoming horror comedy, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which is scheduled to release on May 20, this year. Being a sequel to a very successful and iconic film, the expectations from the movie are high. ## The makers of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will be releasing the teaser of the film soon and will kick-start the promotion. In this process, the teaser of the film is expected to be attached with KGF: Chapter 2 (April 14) in theaters. Just like KGF - Chapter 2, the horror-comedy is also distributed by AA Films. KGF 2 is a hugely awaited film and the makers of BB2 are trying the take the advantage of it to make their film reach the widest audience possible. ## According to reports, the teaser is expected to be out online a day before KGF - Chapter 2's release. Box Office: The Kashmir Files Reaches 250 Crores Net; Becomes 13th Biggest Hindi Movie

Mumbai, April 11 - Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri's all-time blockbuster, "The Kashmir Files" has stormed past the 250 crores net mark and becomes the 13th biggest Hindi grosser of all time. The hard-hitting drama movie, based on true facts, took 32 days to reach the box office milestone. ## "The Kashmir Files" box office run so far has been phenomenal as no one had thought this film would reach this far. It opened with a decent 3.55 crores, but once the public opinion was out, it became unstoppable. The demand for the tickets was such a huge that it even knocked down Prabhas-starrer "Radhe Shyam", and Akshay Kumar's "Bachchhan Paandey" a week later. ## Produced by Abhishek Agarwal in association with Zee Studios and I Am Buddha, TKF's box office run is slowing down with new releases taking the charge, but it has accomplished its job, in fact, it has crossed even the highest of expectations trade had before the release. It currently stands at 250.10 crores. ## Among the biggest Hindi movies of all time at the domestic box office, TKF is at number 3 and is most likely to settle with that. It needs another 21 crores more to topple "Dhoom 3" to become the 12th biggest Hindi movie, but this looks like a Hercules task at this point in time. Mumbai, April 11 - The makers of the upcoming war drama movie, "Pippa", starring Ishaan Khatter and Mrunal Thakur in the leads, on Monday (April 11) announced that the shoot wrap for Ishaan, who plays the role of war hero Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta in the movie. ## Based on the book The Burning Chaffees by Balram Singh Mehta who fought during the Indo-Pak war in 1971, "Pippa" is directed by Raja Krishna Menon of Airlift fame while Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur will produce it under their respective production banners, RSVP Movies, and Roy Kapur Films.## The movie, which was announced in 2020, is billed as a heroic tank battle film that underscores the bravery of Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta, a veteran of the 45th Cavalry tank squadron, who, along with his siblings, fought on the eastern front during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971. Just like SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali 2", Chapter 2 of KGF is touted to run riot at the Hindi box office, which is the biggest hope for the makers. ## Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment will be distributing "KGF 2" in Hindi in association with AA Films. The film is carrying a similar kind of buzz as "Baahubali 2" in Hindi and that's what makes it a film to watch out for on the box office front. The industry is projecting it to open around 25 crores net but we think it has more potential than that and it could open with 30+ crores. With restrictions on cinemas having been lifted, one would rely on the film to open big considering the kind of potential and buzz it is carrying. ## "KGF: Chapter 2" will have a direct clash in Hindi with Shahid Kapoor-fronted "Jersey", which is the official remake of the Telugu movie of the same name starring Nani. In normal times (without clash), "Jersey" could open a huge start at the box office but the same can't be said this time around, especially when it is up against a mighty competitor "KGF 2". ## However, it is still early to rule out "Jersey" as the makers seem to be very confident about their product that they even refused to send it directly on the OTT platform despite getting big offers. Also, Shahid Kapoor's last release, "Kabir Singh" was a massive blockbuster with a worldwide gross of 377 crores. Shahid has always been a fan favorite but the box office success of Kabir Singh made him one of the most bankbale stars in the Hindi film industry.## Both "KGF 2" and "Jersey" will be released on Thursday on the occasion of Vaishakhi. While the industry is projecting Shahid Kapoor-starrer to open around 10 crores, it could get the benefit of a long Holiday weekend if the word of mouth is strong. But it will be KGF 2, which will have the upper hand throughout the weekend. If Prashanth Neel gets positive reviews, then it will be unstoppable at the Hindi box office. ## There is one more film that will be released during the same weekend is Thalapathy Vijay's "Beast". It will open a day earlier on April 13 on the occasion of Tamil New Year. The makers recently announced that it will also be released in Hindi along with other dubbed versions. While Thalapthy Vijay has some fan following in the North region, the movie, however, is unlikely to pause any challenge to "KGF 2" or "Jersey" unless it turns out to be something extraordinary. It will get the benefit of releasing a day earlier, but the makers don't seem to be too optimistic about its box office prospects in Hindi that they haven't put an extra effort to promote the movie expect releasing a couple of promos.
