Mumbai, January 31 - As far as the box office is concerned, "Pushpa" has lived up to its title, "The Rise", and has done what most of the top Bollywood films have failed to do - to enter Rs. 100 crores net club in Hindi.## The Allu Arjun and Rashmika Manadanna-starrer is all set to become the 95th and perhaps one of the most deserving films to reach a quoted Rs. 100 crores club in Hindi in its 7th week at the box office. The action-thriller, an outright Telugu movie with minimal Hindi promotion, currently stands at Rs. 99.89 crores after the 7th weekend and will cross 100 crores on Monday. ## This box office achievement of "Pushpa - The Rise" has come at a time when most of the trade pundits ruled it out to go big. They seemed to be right after "Pushpa" (Hindi) had an average opening of Rs. 3.33 crores. However, the strong word of mouth and stardom of Allu Arjun has proved the film a long racehorse, which is nothing short of a phenomenal achievement. ## "Pushpa - The Rise's" box office journey has become even more special considering the most challenging fact that it has battled the covid-19 pandemic when there has been a closure of cinemas, restrictions, curbs, and general fear factor among the cine-goers. ## Directed by Sukumar, "Pushpa - The Rise" (Hindi) will have at least ten more days of a free run at the box office before Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer "Badhaai Do" arrives on February 11. Mumbai, January 30 - Pushpa: The Rise starring the Icon Star Allu Arjun has had become a Blockbuster in the dubbed Hindi version despite facing many opponents like Spiderman: No Way Home, 83 and the biggest of them all - The omicron virus which resulted in the closure of cinemas. ## The album of "Pushpa: The Rise" has become a chartbuster, to say the least. All the songs of the film have become a rage among music lovers due to the effective lyrics. Lyricist Raqueeb Alam, who penned the Hindi songs, says that he didn't expect them to become so popular even though he was aware of Bunny's fan following.## "There is a craze for him in the North. I know this quite well. In fact, my niece herself is a fan of his films. Even in remote areas, he is a brand. I, however, did not think the songs would become so big. Itni ummeed nahi thi," he told DH.## He is, meanwhile, awaiting the release of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo's Hindi-dubbed version. Mumbai, January 28 - Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna's "Pushpa - The Rise" is all set to enter Rs. 100 crores club in Hindi, a milestone that no one had thought it would reach at the time of its release. Such has been a euphoria of this action thriller that even after the OTT premiere, it is minting in crores at the box office. ## Directed by Sukumar, the "Pushpa - The Rise" Hindi version can be described as a box office sensation. It is because even after five weeks, the movie is showing no sign of slowness at the box office. In fact, in the 6th week, it has beaten Bollywood biggies to top the single-day biz. ## On its 41st day (Republic Day), "Pushpa - The Rise" scored Rs. 1.55 crores in Hindi which is the highest for any Hindi film on a particular day. Vicky Kaushal's "Uri: The Surgical Strike" had netted Rs. 1 crore on its 41st day which was the biggest before Allu Arjun-starrer. ## "Pushpa - The Rise" finished the 6th week with an estimated Rs. 5.90 crores in Hindi. It is the 2nd biggest 6th week total for a Hindi movie ever after "Uri", which netted Rs. 11.57 crores. The Hindi version of the film dropped just 16% in the 6th week which is the remarkable hold of any film let alone the dubbed version. ## With theaters in Delhi having reopened again after a short shutdown and Mumbai is already holding super strong, "Pushpa - The Rise" will break into Rs. 100 crores club in its 7th week and will become the 4th dubbed Hindi version and 95th overall to achieve the feat. It currently stands at Rs. 97.44 crores after the 6th week. ## Overall, "Pushpa - The Rise" is racing towards Rs. 350 crores worldwide. While the box office performance of this action-drama film has been phenomenal, the songs of the film have also become quite popular. ## One of the most popular songs of "Pushpa - The Rise" is Srivalli. The Hindi version of the song is sung by Javed Ali from the lyrics penned by Raqueeb Alam. Devi Sri Prasad has composed it along with other languages. Meanwhile, the "Srivalli" Hindi version has breached the first major YouTube milestone by clocking 100 million views. ## T-Series released the official full video of the "Srivalli" song on January 4 and it crossed 100 million views on January 25. Hyderabad, January 25 - Telugu star Ram Pothineni's next film has been titled "The Warriorr", which is being directed by Lingusamy. The Tamil-Telugu bilingual movie recently went on floors under the production banner of Srinivasa Silver Screen. ## Ram Pothineni is playing the role of a cop in this film, which is touted to be a different kind of movie in this genre. Meanwhile, "The Warrior" is already getting the attention for its Hindi dubbed version as RAPO's previous movies, such as "iSmart Shankar", "Shivam", were quite popular on satellite in Hindi. ## According to reports, the makers of "The Warrior" have sold the Hindi dubbing rights (Satellite & Digital) to RKD Studios for a handsome price of Rs. 16 crores, which is the highest for RAPO's movie. Mumbai, January 22 - Allu Arjun's "Pushpa - The Rise" (Part 1), which was released on December 17, shocked the industry and trade experts with its phenomenal box office outcome in the dubbed Hindi version. This Sukumar-directed, however, has had an average opening in Hindi, but strong word of mouth helped it put up a strong show at the box office, clocking Rs. 90 crores in Hindi till now. ## Manish Shah of Goldmines Telefilms has the Hindi dubbed rights and it is said that he generated over Rs. 40 crores profit from the theatrical release of the film. He is now looking optimistic about the box office potential of part two, titled "Pushpa - The Rule". The hype for "Pushpa 2" is already sky-high, and it could repeat what Prabhas' "Baahubali - The Conclusion" did in Hindi belts. ## "Pushpa 2" is slated to go on floors in April 2022, and the makers are eyeing to release it in December this year. Manish Shah, during a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, had said that the movie might not release this year but he is confident that it will be a historic blockbuster and might even break "Baahubali 2's" box office record in Hindi. ## "In my opinion, Pushpa 2 – The Rule is going to be a historic blockbuster. I don't know how many records it will break", he said. Baahubali 2 had made a whopping Rs. 510 crores in Hindi (highest ever in Hindi). Shah believes that if executed well, "Pushpa 2" can break that record.## "Well, there's a possibility. Baahubali's first part collected Rs. 120 crores. Pushpa: The Rise – Part 01 will end up with a lifetime of Rs. 93-94 crores. Therefore, the difference is only 30%. 50% zyada mehnat kar di hum sab ne to Pushpa 2 Baahubali 2 ka record tod degi! (If we have worked 50% more, then Pushpa 2 will break the record of Bahubali 2)", he added.## The script of "Pushpa 2" is currently being developed by Sukumar. Mumbai, January 21 - A few days after the announcement of the theatrical release of Allu Arjun's "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" in Hindi, Manish Shah of Goldmines Telefilms has called off such plans. The reason is quite obvious as the Hindi remake of this popular Telugu movie is already under development and the Hindi release of AVPL could have hampered its chances. ## It is said that Allu Arvind, the producer of both Telugu and Hindi versions of AVPL, flew down to Mumbai to stop the dubbed theatrical release of the film. Normally, the dubbed versions of South Indian films do not release theatrically, however, the "Pushpa" success has installed enough confidence in makers to go for the big. ## In a recent chat with Bollywood Hungama, Manish Shah shared the release plans of the dubbed version of Telugu superstar's second highest-grosser of all time. He also called AVPL the biggest non-Baahubali hit down South. According to Pinkvilla, Manish Shah and his team gearing up for the Hindi release of Ram Charan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu's 2018 blockbuster "Rangasthalam". ## Directed by Sukumar, "Rangasthalam" is considered one of the finest films of Ram Charan, which received both critical and commercial acknowledgment.
