Bollywood is in a real hurry to lock the release dates of its upcoming movies. Not only 2021 dates but 2022 dates are also filling fast. Bollywood actor, John Abraham is one of the actors who has done more action films, and this joner has become a cakewalk for him. He is now all set to return to the new action avatar with the upcoming gangster drama film, Mumbai Saga that will be hitting theaters on March 19. The actor said that performing action scenes is like doing an item song for him. ## Abraham's movies have always attracted mass audiences because of the high octane action. And he said that he likes working in mass-oriented films because the mass audience has shaped his career and established him as a macho man of the Bollywood industry. ## "For some actors, they love dancing. For me, the action is my dance. It's like an item song to me", said John.## "I think you must do films that relate to the mass audience and not just a few people who are sitting in a fancy theatre. I saw what Manya Surve (his character in Shootout At Wadala) did for me and Sanjay (Gupta). It's a gangster film and we are showing what has happened in reality".## The trailer of Mumbai Saga was released on Friday (February 26) and it shows how violence ruled Bombay in the 80s and 90s. John portrays a gangster who aspires to rule Bombay while Emraan Hashmi is cast as a cop who wants to kill John and win prize money of Rs 10 crore. The Sanjay Gupta directorial has an ensemble cast including Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Kajal Aggarwal, Prateik Babbar, Rohit Roy, Anjana Sukhani, and Gulshan Grover. ## John Abraham will also be starring in an action thriller film, Attack, directed and co-written by Lakshya Raj Anand. Co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez, and Rakul Preet Singh, John will be seen doing action once again in this film but he said it will be completely different and futuristic action. It's not that the only audience has been missing the experience of watching movies in theaters, but the people from the film industry also having the same feeling. Veteran actor Gulshan Grover says he has respect for OTT platforms but theatres define the festive experience of watching films, and it is something that has been missing over the past year because of the complete closure of cinemas due to the covid-19 pandemic.## "For almost a year now, we have been watching films and series on OTT in our homes. We have been watching content from across the world. The OTT has its own advantages but we also want to get out there and want to have a real experience of watching a film", said Grover at the trailer launch of the upcoming film Mumbai Saga on Friday in Mumbai.## Talking about the filmmakers who have gone ahead and decided to release their movies in theaters amid the covid-19 protocols, Gulshan Grover added that it is a gusty and brave move by them to accept those protocols in safeguarding the audience while watching movies in theaters. Mumbai, August 12, 2021: Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi starrer upcoming movie, Chehre's new release date has been finalized. The mystery thriller in which Big B and Emraan Hashmi will be sharing screen space for the first time is set to release in theaters on August 27. Directed by Rumi Jaffery (Rumi Jafry), the movie also stars Krystle D'Souza, Dhritiman Chatterjee, Raghubir Yadav, and Annu Kapoor in the prominant role. It is produced by Anand Pandit under his banner Anand Pandit Motion Pictures along with Saraswati Entertainment Private Limited. Big B took to Twitter and announced the release date of Chehre. After A Year Of Disappointment, Bollywood Gears Up To Woo Fans With Mega Announcements

It has almost been a year since the last big Bollywood star movie released in cinemas. Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor starrer, Baaghi 3 was the last film released in theaters, on March 6, 2020, before the covid-19 pandemic stopped the world including the entertainment industry. However, after the lockdown lifted and theaters reopened, movies such as Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari, and Indoo Ki Jawani released but they couldn't woo the audience due to the lack of star power and the fear of coronavirus. ## Theater owners were (and still are) looking at Bollywood with a hopeful eye, while on the other hand, the filmmakers also wanted someone to take the first step before they go all guns blazing. And when things were looking dim, it was the Tamil film industry that paved the way for others to follow amid the fear of the virus. Thalapathy Vijay took a bold decision to release his action entertainer, Master in theaters, to provide a much-needed boost to the ailing Tamil film industry, and the rest, as they say, is history. Master grossed over INR 220 crores worldwide despite the 50% seating capacity of cinemas and emerged as a big blockbuster. ## Master filled enough confidence in the filmmakers of the different film industries which can be seen in the recent announcements. Over the past few days, Bollywood has made several mega announcements, outlining ambitious plans to release some of this year's most important projects in theatres, from next month to Diwali. While the first film, Roohi is yet to be released, these big announcements have created enough buzz to woo fans all over again. ## From Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan to John Abraham to Ranveer Singh, several top stars will headline big-budgeted films that cumulatively cost hundreds of crores. The effort is clearly to instill confidence in the minds of an audience that is still hesitant to return to theatres, in the aftermath of Covid lockdown.## Filmmaker Vishnuvardhan, whose directorial 'Shershaah' starring Sidharth Malhorta and Kiara Advani is slated to hit the theatres on July 4, feels the good show of the Vijay-starrer Tamil release Master has encouraged Bollywood producers to take the step.## "I feel that the confidence in the industry has come a little late. It was just the matter of one person initiating. Life looks normal outside and, of course, with necessary precautions, everything can be done. However, he believes that all filmmakers need to keep in mind the thin line that differentiates freedom of creativity and misusing that freedom. ## Recently, the makers of Amazon Prime Video's web series, Tandav faced legal accusations for hurting religious sentiments and showing a community in a bad manner in the series. Amazon Prime Video along with other OTT platforms was also warned to keep in check before showing any type of content. The controversy also led Information & Broadcasting Ministry to keep an eye on OTTs and set rules and regulations for them which will be announced soon. ## "It's a very thin line between using the freedom of creativity and misusing it.
