Box Office: JugJugg Jeeyo Second Sunday Early Estimates; Sees Another Jump

Mumbai, July 3 - JugJugg Jeeyo is recording a big day at the ticket window as the early estimates suggest 6cr net on its second Sunday which is a big number, especially considering how the film has faired on the weekdays. The growth in collections vis-a-vis yesterday is approx 30% depending on the final Sunday collections of the film which will be known by tomorrow morning. The good sign is some mass centers have recorded decent footfalls today though that is not because of the film but mainly because of a Holiday. The second Sunday collections will push the total collections of the film to over 67cr net box office mark. The film has also crossed 100cr worldwide collections which makes it a decent performer at the box office though the expectations were much more than that. 'Jugjugg Jeeyo' Races Past 100 Crores At The Worldwide Box Office

Mumbai, July 3 - Director Raj Mehta's Jugjugg Jeeyo has crossed the 100 crores mark at the worldwide box office, becoming only the fourth Bollywood movie of 2022 to do so. ## The family comedy-drama film is having an unlike other Bollywood films' run at the box office. Mumbai, July 2 - Aditya Roy Kapur's "Rashtra Kavach: OM" is going nowhere as it falls flat on its second day at the domestic box office, heading towards a big disaster. Box Office: Rocketry First Saturday Early Estimates

Mumbai, July 2 - R. Madhavan's "Rocketry: The Nambi Effect" shows big gains on its second day at the domestic box office and scored an estimated 3 crores net (+73% vs Friday) for all languages. The biographical drama film has had a decent start with 1.73 crores net, including 90 lakh in the Hindi version. On its second day, the Hindi version witnessed a jump of around 75% for an estimated 1.60 crores net. The Tamil version also witnessed a very good jump of around 66% for an estimated 1.25 crores net on Saturday. The other versions scored an estimated 15 lakh on Saturday. Varun Dhawan And Director Anees Bazmee To Collaborate For A Comedy Entertainer

Mumbai, July 1 - Director Anees Bazmee is on cloud nine, thanks to the blockbuster success of his horror-comedy "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2". The film starring Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu has made over 260 crores worldwide and is one of the biggest Indian blockbusters of 2022. ## According to the latest report, Anees Bazmee will be joining hands with Varun Dhawan for a comedy entertainer. JugJugg Jeeyo First Thursday Early Estimates

Mumbai, June 30, 2022: JugJugg Jeeyo is heading towards a decent day at the box office as the film is set to collect 3.60cr net box office collections going by early estimate. Tuesday was the only day where the film did not drop that much and held the collections better than all other days of the weekdays. The first weekend of the film was just about decent as getting a 35cr opening weekend in 2022 is not a big deal for a film of this stature and considering that the collections should have held better. The first Thursday collections will take the entire box office collections of JugJugg Jeeyo around 54cr net box office mark depending on the final Thursday numbers. The target from here is to reach around 85-90cr net box office business which will make the film an average success. Delhi-NCR remains the best performing circuit for JugJugg Jeeyo followed by Mumbai but even these circuits are not at the level they should be. They are doing just decent business. The less said about mass circuits would be better. The plus point of JugJugg Jeeyo is that the film is an overseas-friendly film and is doing fine business there which would take the worldwide share of the film to a profit level. Mumbai, June 29, 2022: JugJugg Jeeyo starring Anil Kapoor and Varun Dhawan is heading towards a decent day at the ticket window as the early estimate collections are set to be in the 4cr range. The drop from yesterday is approx 13-14% which although is not a big drop but for a film like JugJugg Jeeyo that could not perform as expected in the first weekend, The drop is big. The first Wednesday collections will take the entire collections of the film over 50cr net box office collections. The first week of business of the film is set to be in the range of 54cr (+/-) net box office collections. Varun Dhawan had far bigger first weeks than JugJugg Jeeyo but all of them were released in pre-pandemic times. The box office has changed after the pandemic, especially for a word-of-mouth multiplex film like JugJugg Jeeyo. The film has performed better than the likes of Jersey, Heropanti2, Runway34, JayeshBhai Jordaar, and Samrat Prithviraj but if you compare it to Bhool Bhulaiya 2 then the film has underperformed. Both Bhool Bhulaiya 2 and JugJugg Jeeyo are in a similar zone of films though Bhool Bhulaiya 2 was more for a mass audience than JugJugg Jeeyo with an added advantage of sequel of a superhit film. A lifetime business of over 80cr would mean JugJugg Jeeyo is a decent performer at the box office. The early estimate collections are set to be around the 4.50cr net box office mark. The first Tuesday collections will take the entire collections of JugJugg Jeeyo to over 46cr net collections. The first week of business of the film is heading towards 55cr (+/-) net collections which will be a decent first-week business. JugJugg Jeeyo is behaving like a decently-accepted film by its target audience. Neither the film is fully-accepted nor it is fully rejected. Mumbai, June 28 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is all set to kickstart the shooting for his next film. He is currently shooting for the Hindi remake of the Tamil movie "Soorarai Pottru" which is expected to wrap up in the next few days.## Akshay will next take up Pooja Entertainment and Kyta Productions' joint production "Capsule Gill", which is based on the life of former additional chief mining engineer, Jaswant Singh Gill. The movie is set against the backdrop of the 1989 Raniganj coal mining disaster during which Gill carried out a rescue operation and saved the lives of 64 workers trapped in a flooded coal mine. ## According to Peepingmoon.com, the shooting of the film will commence on July 4th in the UK. "The pre-production and all have been completed and the team will fly to the UK on June 29th". Akshay will reportedly shoot there till July 31st and then return to India for the promotion of Raksha Bandhan. He will resume shooting for this film in September in Mumbai, followed by two short schedules in Raigarh and Raniganj later this year, per report.## "Capsule Gill" will be directed by Suresh Desai and it will feature Parineeti Chopra as the female lead opposite Akshay. It will mark their second film together after "Kesari". Meanwhile, the makers have reportedly brought an ensemble supporting cast on board the movie. ## The same report states that the movie will feature Kumud Mishra, Pawan Malhotra, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and Ravi Kishan in key roles along with Virendra Saxena, Varun Badola, Rajesh Sharma, and Ananth Mahadevan. Parineeti will reportedly play Akshay's wife in the movie. Mumbai, June 27 - JugJugg Jeeyo has witnessed a huge drop on the first Monday of its box office run as the collections dropped approx 70% from yesterday. The drop is big considering the weekend business of the film was just about decent. Mumbai, June 26 - JugJugg Jeeyo is moving towards a healthy Sunday at the box office. The film has witnessed approx 20% growth in collections compared to Saturday. Box Office: JugJugg Jeeyo First Saturday Box Office Collections

Mumbai, June 26 - JugJugg Jeeyo has witnessed good growth of over 35% on its second day to record 12.55 crores net box office collections. The growth is fantastic with some circuits even showing over 50% growth. The biggest growth came in the centers of Gujarat due to the film being in a comic zone. The first Saturday collections will take the entire collections of JugJugg Jeeyo to 21.83cr net. The first weekend is set to be close between 36-38cr or even higher.
