Mumbai, May 12 - Bollywood star Ranveer Singh is not looking back after the historic success of Dhurandhar duology, and is setting up ambitious films in his future line-up. In this process, the actor has acquired the rights to Amish Tripathi's bestselling novel, The Immortals of Meluha, under his banner, Maa Kasam Films. According to the report by Pinkvilla, Ranveer has partnered with Birla Studios to develop the mythological epic as a grand-scale trilogy. The project is being envisioned as a large-scale cinematic franchise. Released in 2010, The Immortals of Meluha reimagines Lord Shiva as a human hero whose journey eventually transforms him into a divine figure. The duo has worked together in films like Welcome (2007), Singh Is King (2008) and Thank You (2011), and now, after 15 years, they are coming together to recreate the same magic which made their previous films cult classics. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the yet untitled film is expected to be wrapped by the end of May after a major chunk of filming is already done. It is said to be a situational family comedy, and Akshay Kumar is reportedly happy with how it is shaping up. He is impressed with Bazmee's take on humour, which is magical and stands out even today. After a strong response to the film's promotional material and initial advance bookings, the makers have now confirmed that the Mohanlal-starrer will release not only in Malayalam but also in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada dubbed versions. Hyderabad, May 9 - Telugu veteran Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Koratala Siva are teaming up for the first time for a big Pan India action drama film, and the makers are busy finalising the rest of the cast and crew. According to the report by Gulte, the makers are considering locking the Carpenter title for this film. It is said that the production house Yuvasudha Arts has registered the title of the same name, which hints but confirms that this is going to be the official title.
