Prabhas' 'Salaar' And Allu Arjun-Starrer 'Pushpa 2' Set For Further Delay

Hyderabad, June 28 - It looks like there will be further delay in the release of two of the most-awaited Pan India biggies from South India. Prabhas-fronted Salaar and Allu Arjun-starrer Puhspa - The Rule will most likely to release in second half of 2023, due to the delay in production. ## The Prashanth Neel directorial "Salaar" has been in production since last year. It was originally announced for the release in April 2021, however, the makers were forced to delay the release as the shoot of the movie is nowhere close to completion.## Director Prashanth Neel had recently said that the entire shoot of the film will be completed by this year-end only as only 30% of the entire filming is done yet. The film will now be released in the second half of the next year. Before the release of "Salaar", Prabhas might see two releases in the form of "Adipurush" and one more film which he will start shooting soon. There is Nag Ashwin's "Project K" will also be released next year, however, the date is yet to be known. ## Meanwhile, Allu Arjun's "Pushpa - The Rule" is also gearing up for the second half of the 2023 release. Adivi Sesh's 'Major' Scores Excellent Opening Weekend At The Worldwide Box Office

Mumbai, June 6 - The biopic of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan is winning hearts as well as box office numbers. The Adivi Sesh-starrer was released on June 3 in multiple languages. It follows the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, an army officer who was killed in the 2008 Mumbai attacks. ## Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, "Major" has had an excellent opening weekend at the worldwide box office, grossing Rs. 35.65 crores in just 3 days. The movie has already entered into profit zone, and with strong word of mouth by its side, it is heading towards a blockbuster. ## The Telugu version of the movie is leading its biz as it scored 17.85 crores net box office collection.
