Director Prashanth Neel Confirms 'Salaar: Ceasefire' Is An Outright Telugu Movie And Dubbed Into Other Language

Mumbai, December 19 - Director Prashanth Neel has been honest in sharing details about his upcoming blockbuster Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire, starring superstar Prabhas in the title role. He has said in the past that his filmmaking style is not giving life lessons to anyone but to entertain the paying audiences. ## Ever since "Salaar" was announced, it has been perceived as a Telugu-Kannada bilingual movie since the movie is produced by Kannada production house Hombale Films and stars a Telugu superstar. However, putting all the pre-assumptions to rest, director Neel confirmed in a recent interview that "Salaar" is an outrightly a Telugu movie and has been dubbed in 4 other languages including Kannada. ## Prithviraj Sukumaran, who is playing one of the main leads, also shared that it was primarily shot in Telugu and then was dubbed into other languages. Commendably, the Malayalam star has himself dubbed in Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi, languages in his voice. Mumbai, December 14 - Superstar Prabhas-fronted Salaar: Ceasefire - Part 1 is all set to hit the big screens on December 22nd during the Christmas weekend. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the action drama has been rated with an "A" certificate by CBFC which has raised excitement among action film lovers. ## The advance booking of "Salaar" will be opened tomorrow in India. Overseas, the booking was commenced recently and has already crossed $1 million for the opening weekend as well as for the opening day, including the premieres with 8 days still left for the release.## North America is leading pre-sales with approx. $850K for day 1, including premiers which will take place on December 21st. Hyderabad, October 25 - Superstar Prabhas' action drama film Salaar Part 1 - Ceasefire is one of the most-awaited Pan-Indian films and his collaboration with director Prashanth Neel is doing wonders for the movie in the trade. ## Produced by Hombale Films, "Salaar" was supposed to be released on September 28, 2023, before it was pushed to December 22, 2023, worldwide. Prabhas is one of the most bankable stars in Telugu and this is leading to huge pre-release business in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. ## According to a report in Track Tollywood, the theatrical rights of the film are sold at a whopping 165 crores approximately in the two Telugu states, which is the second highest ever after SS Rajamouli's "RRR". Director Lokesh Kanagaraj Clarifies Rumours Around His Film With Prabhas

Chennai, October 16 - The social media is buzzing after director Lokesh Kanagaraj confirmed his maiden collaboration with superstar Prabhas recently. Hyderabad, October 15 - Veteran Telugu star Nandamuri Balakrishna teamed with director Anil Ravipudi for the first time on the action drama Bhagavanth Kesari. Produced by Shine Screens, the movie has Kajal Aggarwal, Sreeleela and Arjun Rampal (Telugu debut) in prominent roles.## "Bhagavanth Kesari" is carrying good buzz among the fans as well as trade. NBK is coming after two back-to-back big hits in the form of "Akhanda" and "Veera Simha Reddy" which are also his only two films to cross the 100 crores gross mark at the worldwide box office. Anil Ravipudi too has proved his mettle with films like "Sarileru Neekevvaru" and "F2 & F3", so the combo of the actor and director is working well in the trade. ## The upcoming movie, which is scheduled to hit theatres on October 19, is among the top movies of NBK in terms of the pre-release theatrical business. According to a report by Track Tollywood, the film has done a pre-release business of around 70 crores worldwide. ## The Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) rights are said to be sold for 59 crores, including 15 crores for the Nizam area. Director Boyapati Srinu Confirms His Next Two Films With Superstar Allu Arjun and Suriya

Hyderabad, October 7 - Telugu mass filmmaker, Boyapati Srinu scored a massive hit with Nandamuri Balakrishna in the form of "Akhanda" in 2021. However, the director couldn't repeat the same success with his next movie "Skanda" with Ram Pothineni. The movie is currently playing in theatres and heading towards being an average affair at the box office.## Despite being unable to repeat "Akhanda's" success with "Skanda", Boyapati remains in hot demand as he has confirmed his next three films. During a recent media interaction, the ultra mass director confirmed that he would be teaming up with Telugu superstar Allu Arjun and Tamil star Suriya for his next two films.## It is not yet clear which film he will take first. Hyderabad, December 23 - It is the time of the Sankranthi/Pongal festival which has always caught the attention of South Indian filmmakers and 2024 is going to be no different. Overseas, "Skanda" grossed approximately 2 crores for 16.50 crores worldwide on opening day. "iSmart Shankar" was the previous biggest worldwide opener for the actor with approximately 13 crores gross collection.## The movie has decent audience word of mouth while critics' reviews are mixed.
