Director Prashanth Neel Confirms 'Salaar: Ceasefire' Is An Outright Telugu Movie And Dubbed Into Other Language
Mumbai, December 19 - Director Prashanth Neel has been honest in sharing details about his upcoming blockbuster Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire, starring superstar Prabhas in the title role. He has said in the past that his filmmaking style is not giving life lessons to anyone but to entertain the paying audiences. ## Ever since "Salaar" was announced, it has been perceived as a Telugu-Kannada bilingual movie since the movie is produced by Kannada production house Hombale Films and stars a Telugu superstar. However, putting all the pre-assumptions to rest, director Neel confirmed in a recent interview that "Salaar" is an outrightly a Telugu movie and has been dubbed in 4 other languages including Kannada. ## Prithviraj Sukumaran, who is playing one of the main leads, also shared that it was primarily shot in Telugu and then was dubbed into other languages. Commendably, the Malayalam star has himself dubbed in Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi, languages in his voice. For Prabhas, Sharad Kelkar lent his voice in Hindi and he is already receiving a lot of praise for the same. ## "Salaar" marks the maiden collaboration between Prabhas and Prashanth Neel whose last film "KGF 2" was a massive blockbuster, especially in Hindi. The action drama which is about two best friends turned biggest enemies will be clashing with superstar Shah Rukh Khan and maverick director Rajkumar Hirani's "Dunki" which will be a solo Hindi language release. ## Stay tuned...
