Hyderabad, August 9 - The hugely-anticipated Pan India movie of Telugu superstar Jr. NTR with director Prashanth Neel has officially been launched today (August 9) in Hyderabad. The movie is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts.## Currently called NTRNeel, the movie has reportedly been titled Dragon, and the makers have locked the January 9, 2026, release date for the same. It will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil, languages.## The makers announced the release date with a poster which indicates that the movie will revolve around a historical chapter. Mumbai, August 9 - It was a hugely disappointing week for Bollywood with two new releases, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha and Ulajh bombed at the box office. Both movies were not only unable to attract footfall but were awful from the opening day which led to a disastrous first week. ## The Ajay Devgn-fronted romantic thriller Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha was expected to score a decent collection even though the buzz was not there for that to happen. The opening below 2 crores net mark sealed its fate as it scored disappointing around 10 crores net opening week. ## It is one of the lowest opening weeks for an Ajay Devgn-starrer in the last 2 decades and easily the lowest by far in the last decade. It has been no starter from the beginning and it will finish below the 15 crore mark as one of the major disastrous of the last few years.## Janhvi Kapoor-fronted thriller Ulajh which was released on the same day as AMKDT also met the same fate with a disappointing first week of around 7 crores net collection and the lifetime will likely be the same as AMKDT.## Ulajh, after the poor opening, did show a better trend than the Ajay Devgn-starrer but there wasn't much audience for it to capitalize on that as the overall collection remained low throughout the first week. ## The attention now shifts to the Independence Day weekend which will see the much-anticipated horror-comedy Stree 2 taking on Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein and John Abrahm's Vedaa. Chennai, August 8 - As the anticipation is shooting up for Thalapathy Vijay's sci-fi action thriller The Greatest of All-Time, the makers have confirmed its release in IMAX in India and international markets.## Directed by Venkat Prabhu, GOAT is the second back-to-back movie of Vijay to secure an IMAX debut. Mumbai, August 9 - Bollywood star John Abraham and actress Sharvari Wagh are gearing up for the release of their action drama Vedaa which reunites John with director Nikkhil Advani after Batla House. It is produced by Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment, and JA Entertainment. ## Vedaa, which is said to be inspired by true events, is a story of bravery, of the power of one. It is the story of an uprising, of challenging a draconian system. It is the story of a young woman who fought back, steered and championed by the one. ## The film is scheduled to be released on August 15. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has passed the movie with a 'U/A' certificate without any major cut and the approved theatrical runtime of 2 hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes).## As reported previously, the CBFC team was impressed and could relate to what the makers are trying to address through the film which deals with an important issue. Mumbai, August 8 - After dominating the box office in 2023, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is teaming with director Sujoy Ghosh for an action thriller, tentatively titled King. The movie will be produced by SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment and Sidharth Anand's Marflix.## King will feature SRK's daughter Suhana Khan in her big-screen debut alongside Abhishek Bachchan as the antagonist and Munjya fame Abay Varma in prominent roles. The pre-production work on the movie is happening at a brisk pace and makers are in the final step to lock the entire cast. ## Meanwhile, according to the latest report by Pinkvilla, the makers have already identified shooting locations in India and internationally as they are aiming to take King on floors by November this year. Hyderabad, August 8 - Actor Ram Pothineni and director Puri Jagannadh reunited for the sequel to their blockbuster movie iSmart Shankar. Scheduled to be released on August 15, Double iSmart also features Sanjay Dutt in his Telugu debut and Kavya Thapar in prominent roles.## Double iSmart is an important movie for both Ram Pothineni and Puri Jagannadh and they seem to have gone all out for this mass entertainer just like the first part. It is revealed that the sequel has been censored with an A certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) due to strong violence and dialogues. ## The sequel will be lengthier than the first part with approved theatrical runtime of 2 hours and 42 minutes (162 minutes). iSmart Shankar clocked 2 hours and 21 minutes which made it a neatly packed entertainer.
