Mumbai, August 8 - One of the major films to compete during the crowded Independence Day 2024 weekend is Akshay Kumar-fronted comedy drama Khel Khel Mein. The movie is directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Wakaoo Films, T-Series, and White World Productions.



With just one week left before the release, the makers have reportedly completed censorship formalities. It is learned that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has passed the film with a U/A certificate with an approved runtime of 2 hours and 14 minutes (134 minutes).





Khel Khel Mein will clash with Shraddha Kapoor's horror-comedy Stree 2 and John Abraham-fronted action thriller Vedaa along with South Indian movies, Double iSmart and Thangalaan at the box office. It is the third movie of Akshay Kumar in 2024 after Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Sarfira.





It is a situational comedy revolving around the lives of 3 couples. Apart from Akshay Kumar, Khel Khel Mein also stars Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, Pragya Jaiswal, and Fardeen Khan in pivotal roles.
