The latest action entertainer Blast is making quite some noise at the box office, and the credit largely goes to the lead stars and the execution by the director. Ever since the film hit the screens, the audience reactions have been overwhelmingly positive, with fans particularly praising the high-octane sequences and the engaging screenplay. The performance in national multiplex chains has been a highlight of this theatrical run. On Tuesday, the three major chains recorded a combined total of approximately 44,100 ticket sales from about 450 shows. PVR stood at the top, selling roughly 28,100 tickets with an impressive occupancy of around 53 percent. INOX followed with about 10,600 tickets sold across nearly 110 shows at 45 percent occupancy, while Cinepolis added 5,400 tickets with an occupancy of roughly 38 percent. On the global stage, Blast is quickly approaching a significant milestone. With an overseas gross of about 0.50 Crore on Day 6, the total international collection has reached 6.80 Crore. Bhooth Bangla continues to tick along as it moves through its seventh week. On Tuesday, the movie collected about 0.60 Crore across India in net collections. This is actually a slight increase from Monday's collection of 0.50 Crore, representing roughly 20 percent growth. Seeing a small midweek bump like this on the forty-seventh day is an interesting trend for the film as it maintains its theatrical presence. With this latest addition, the total India net collection for Bhooth Bangla now stands at 180.45 Crore. When we look at the gross figures, the domestic total has reached 213.74 Crore. The film has also performed consistently in international markets, contributing an overseas gross of 53.75 Crore. Combining these figures, the worldwide gross collection has now climbed to 267.49 Crore. It has been a long and successful journey for the film, which has now been screened across nearly 240,000 shows since its release. The ticket sales data from BookMyShow also reflects this midweek jump. While around 8,280 tickets were booked on the seventh Monday, that number nearly doubled on Tuesday with approximately 14,860 tickets sold. This brings the cumulative ticket sales on the platform to over 33.75 Lakhs. The theater count remains respectable as well, with the film playing in 1,568 shows on its forty-seventh day. On Tuesday, the three major chains recorded a combined total of over 27,000 ticket sales from around 550 shows, with an overall occupancy of 26 percent. INOX followed with 10,890 tickets at 25.2 percent occupancy, and Cinepolis added another 10,890 tickets with an occupancy of 21.9 percent. These figures show that urban audiences are still trickling in to watch the film in premium theaters. Regional performance also stays steady, particularly in the North. The National Capital Region (NCR) remains a stronghold, recording an overall occupancy of 25.5 percent across 238 shows. The evening and afternoon screenings in this region were particularly busy, with occupancy rates hitting 32 percent and 30 percent respectively. Ahmedabad also contributed with an occupancy of around 11.5 percent. As Bhooth Bangla continues to inch closer to the end of its seventh week, its ability to maintain these margins is keeping it relevant in the box office charts.
