Box Office: Bachchhan Paandey Goes Down On Day 2

Mumbai, March 20 - Bachchhan Paandey took a decent opening on the first day and there was much room for improvement on day 2 but the film could not see any growth and overall collections of day 2 came lower than day 1 which is a bad trend for a mass film like Bachchan Pandey. The second-day collections of Bachchhan Paandey are 12 cr against the first-day collections of 13.25cr. This takes the two-day total collections of Bachchhan Paandey to 25.25cr. Today is Sunday and at least Bachchhan Paandey should see its highest single-day collections. The weekend looks 38-40cr range depending upon the Sunday collections. The film has clearly underperformed if we talk about the initial collections. Bachchan Pandey is the second choice for the movie-goers after The Kashmir Files but it has got enough capacity to hit 18-20cr collections daily. The advance for today is also not that huge and on top of that, the film has not been appreciated by the audience. Box Office: The Kashmir Files Clocks Second Highest 2nd Saturday Of All Time In Hindi

Mumbai, March 20 - Vivek Agnihotri's one-horse race, "The Kashmir Files" is threatening all-time box office records. TKF, which is based on the true events of the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits, scored the second biggest 2nd Saturday of all-time at the Hindi box office with Rs. 24.80 crores. It is behind only Prabhas-fronted "Baahubali 2" (Rs. 26.5 cr.), which is the highest-grossing film of all-time in Hindi. Holi Sees A Massive Day At The Hindi Box Office

Mumbai, March 19, 2022: The Hindi Box office has witnessed its highest single day at the box office thanks to the Holi festival. The combined collections of all the running titles are around the 33-34 Cr net. ## The bulk collections came from the Kashmir Files which is behaving like no other film in the past with all-time records being smashed. The Kashmir Files has contributed 19.15 Crout of those 34 Cr which is more than 50% of the total. ## Bachchhan Paandey collected 13.25 Cr which is a good number considering the competition. Mumbai, March 19, 2022: The pandemic has hit the Indian box office in March 2020 and since then the cinemas got shut. When cinemas got opened, films struggled for any sort of footfalls. Bachchhan Paandey Day 1 Early Estimates: A Double Digit Decent Start

Mumbai, March 18, 2022: The big Holi release Bachchhan Paandey has finally been released at the box office but the response is not like the previous Akshay Kumar starrer. Holi normally sees a very dull crowd in morning and afternoon shows but after that, it acts as a proper national holiday with a huge mass and family audience. The Day 1 early estimates for Bachchan Pandey are looking around 12 Cr India net. The film is a mass entertainer with the face value of Akshay Kumar which proved to be a saver otherwise the opening might have been at the lower side for such a big film. Normally a big event film sees 80-90% occupancy in night shows on a national holiday but that is not the case here even with a lower screen count. The film can go towards the 13-14cr range if the mass centres improve and that will only be known tomorrow morning. If we compare to the last big Hindi film Gangubai Kathiawadi then the occupancy is slightly better but the show's count for Bachchan Pandey is very less even on 3000 screens. The advance for tomorrow is also not huge for such a big film like Bachchan Pandey and with a juggernaut called The Kashmir Files being an opponent, The film will find very tough at the box office.
