Kevin Nash: 'CM Punk Has Already Put Himself On The Mantle Right Next To The Ultimate Warrior'

BY SACNILK

CM Punk no longer calls AEW his wrestling home. After retiring for seven years, CM Punk made a highly anticipated return to the wrestling ring at AEW's The First Dance event on Rampage. However, Punk's tenure with AEW has been marked by controversy, and he hasn't quite hit his stride. ## In a surprising turn of events, CM Punk found himself in a backstage altercation with Jack Perry during AEW All In. Following this incident, AEW made the decision to part ways with CM Punk, releasing him from his contract on September 2, 2023. Since then, wrestling fans have been speculating about the possibility of CM Punk returning to WWE. ## While speaking on this week's edition of Kliq This, Nash talked about "Backstage Punks," and there there any value in CM Punk in the WWE. ## "He's already put himself on the mantle right next to the Ultimate Warrior. Go shake the ropes buddy, you're you [ __ ] you're proofing this your pocket, you're punching [ __ ], you're punching Luke Perry's son, sucker punching Luke Perry's son. You're lucky [ __ ] old man spelling it around, he'd have you [ __ ] murdered." ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

Ranking The Top 5 Highlights From WWE SmackDown On September 8, 2023

BY SACNILK

On tonight's episode of Friday Night SmackDown, which was broadcast live from TD Garden in Boston, MA, there were several exciting segments and matches. While the main event typically grabs the most attention, there was another noteworthy moment. ## In the main event, AJ Styles faced off against Jimmy Uso and emerged victorious. However, after the match, he was ambushed by The Judgement Day and Solo Sikoa. ## Additionally, LA Knight had an impressive promo before his match against Austin Theory, which he ultimately won. Furthermore, Charlotte Flair and Shotzi teamed up to defeat Damage CTRL, adding to the action-packed evening. Many other exciting moments took place throughout the show. ## Let's check out the top 5 highlights of the night: ## #5. Charlotte Flair & Shotzi defeated IYO SKY & Bayley ## The Queen and Shotzi teamed up against Bayley and WWE Women's Champion IYO SKY from Damage CTRL in a 9-minute match. It was highly competitive, with IYO and Bayley almost winning. Asuka's intervention helped Flair and Shotzi secure the win. After the match, Asuka and IYO had a heated confrontation, setting up a match between them in two weeks on SmackDown. ## #4. Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits came face to face with The Judgement Day ## Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins, had a confrontation with The Judgment Day, consisting of Damian Priest, Finn Balor, and Dominik Mysterio. This happened after their tough win against The Brawling Brutes. It was interesting to see Bobby Lashley alongside The Street Profits. If WWE continues with this idea, it could become a big draw for the company. ## #3. LA Knight takes a shot at Kevin Nash ## LA Knight who must be the biggest star in the company in coming years, came out during the September 8th edition of Friday Night SmackDown and started mocking The Miz's them song. ## "I Came to Play, If he was a complete moron, he would ask people to look at the adjective," but since he's not a moron, he's going to look at the verb." ## #2. LA Knight defeated Austin Theory ## LA Knight had back-to-back outstanding performances of the night. First, he issued a challenge to Austin and then went on to defeat him. Securing the victory wasn't an easy task for LA Knight, mainly because Waller, who was on guest commentary, tried to interrupt. ## Despite the exposed turnbuckle, Knight managed to defeat Theory with his BFT move. ## #1. AJ Styles defeated Jimmy Uso in the main event ## AJ Styles secured a win against Jimmy Uso. In the main event of the September 8th episode of SmackDown, Styles faced off against Jimmy Uso. It was a tough challenge for Styles as he refused to allow The O.C. to be present at ringside during the match, meaning there was no O.C. support. Despite dealing with interference from Solo Sikoa, Styles managed to claim victory in the main event against Jimmy Uso. ## Please share your preference in the comments below! ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

LA Knight References Kevin Nash's 'Adjective' Line From WCW On 9/8 WWE SmackDown

BY SACNILK

Boston, September 8 - LA Knight referencing Kevin Nash's "adjective" line from WCW on WWE Smackdown was quite interesting as he is himself for the fans. ## Kevin Nash was one of the superstars who became one of the biggest stars in the company quickly after his debut in 1996. In fact, he is now called, "one of the most successful wrestlers," in WCW’s history. ## Following his surprise WCW debut, He let the fans know he was serious and took some shots at WCW and Eric Bischoff with his sharp wit. He smirked and said, "So, this is where the big boys play, huh?" Then, he lightened the mood by jokingly treating "play" like it was an adjective, showing off his unique sense of humor and charm. ## Much of the muchness, LA Knight who must be the biggest stars in the company in coming years, came out during the September 8th edition of Friday Night SmackDown, and started mocking The Miz's them song "I Came to Play, If he was a complete moron, he would ask people to look at the adjective," but since he's not a moron, he's going to look at the verb." ## Fans can check out the full clip below in the tweet: ## NAH NAH... @RealLAKnight was speaking...Go back and wait your turn, @GraysonWWE! 😡#SmackDown pic.twitter.com/HuD4k6zGLM— WWE (@WWE) September 9, 2023 ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

Kevin Nash: Roman Reigns Must Reach 1,000 Days As World Champion, Comparing Him To Cal Ripken Jr.

BY SACNILK

Kevin Nash has reiterated his belief that Roman Reigns needs to reach 1,000 days as world champion. At WWE WrestleMania 39, Cody Rhodes attempted to end the storyline by dethroning Reigns, who had held the Universal Championship for over 950 days. ## However, Reigns defeated Rhodes, retaining the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, a decision that surprised many fans and pundits. Nash, who had previously shared his thoughts on Reigns' victory, reiterated his stance on the newest episode of Kliq This. ## When asked about the decision to have Rhodes lose, Nash emphasized that the company has to ensure Reigns reaches the 1,000-day mark. He cited legendary baseball player Cal Ripken Jr. and his record for consecutive games played as an example. ## "That close to 1,000 [days], you have to do it. It’d be I’d like [Cal] Ripken had turf toe and would have fucking just taken a day off. There’s certain milestones, and right now, he’s too close to 1,000. You’re only gonna be as successful as your fucking top guy, and Roman’s the top guy right now. Roman has the cool factor, Roman’s your money guy. ## They did it with me and Bret. If I would have beaten Bret out of the shoot, I think absolutely Diesel has a much better fucking run. But the fact that they wouldn’t commit and put the fucking eggs in the basket, I think that it hurt me, and I think that they weren’t ready to make that commitment. Things had went too well," Nash said. ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.
