In March 2022, Hall was hospitalized after falling and breaking his hip. After Hall underwent hip surgery, a blood clot was dislodged, resulting in Hall suffering three heart attacks on March 12, after which he was put on life support in Wellstar Kennstone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia. According to Nash, Hall will be removed from life support when Hall's "family is in place".
