Ajay Devgn's 'Raid 2' Story To Be Based On 100 Crore Tax Evasion
Mumbai, June 6 - The shooting of Ajay Devgn-fronted Raid 2 has reportedly been completed and it has now entered the post-production stage. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the movie also stars Vaani Kapoor, and Riteish Deshmukh in prominent roles and is gearing up for release soon. ## Raid 2 is the sequel to 2018's hit crime thriller Raid which was based on the real-life income-tax raid conducted by the officers of the Income Tax Department on Sardar Inder Singh in the 1980s. Ajay Devgn played the role of IRS officer Amay Patnaik and has reprised in the sequel. ## The sequel is also reportedly based on real-life events of a businessman fooling the Income Tax Department for Rs. 100 crore. It was mostly shot in real locations for over a couple of months. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Abhishek Pathak, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Krishan Kumar under the banners of T-Series and Panorama Studios. ## Stay tuned...
