Chennai, November 29 - After the blockbuster success with this penultimate movie, The Greatest of All Time, Thalapathy Vijay is busy with the final film of his career before his political entry, Thalapathy 69, directed by H Vinoth. ## The shoot of T69, which also stars Pooja Hegde and Bobby Deol, is progressing as the film is scheduled for Diwali 2025 release. The fans' emotions are attached to this movie for being the last for one of Tamil cinema's most beloved stars, however, it might not be as memorable as anticipated. ## There have been rumours that T69 is not an original movie as everyone was expecting and now, the latest Tamil media reports have strongly claimed that it is the official remake of Nandamuri Balakrishna's Telugu movie Bhagavanth Kesari which was released last year. ## The makers have been keeping mum on the rumours which have more or less confirmed the same. H. Vinoth, however, is expected to make several changes to the Tamil movie by keeping the same storyline. Chennai, February 17 - Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar is readying for the release of his long-awaited action thriller, "Valimai", which is slated for February 24 release in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada, languages. ## Meanwhile, even before the release of "Valimai", producer Boney Kapoor recently confirmed that he would be reuniting with Tamil superstar for the third time, and it will also be directed by H Vinoth. The movie, tentatively titled #AK61, will go on floors on March 9, 2022. ## "AK 61" will be another action thriller film billed on strong emotions. Interestingly, Ajith Kumar will reportedly be playing a negative role in the film after a long time. It will mark "Billa" actor's 3rd straight film with Boney Kapoor after "Nerkonda Paarvai" (2019), and "Valimai". ## According to reports, Boney Kapoor has set Diwali 2022 release date for AK 61 as he is confident that the movie will be completed before that. But the pandemic situation and increase in corona number of cases, have resulted in the postponement of the film release. ## Now, the latest report suggests that Ajith's 'Valimai' has rejected a 300 Cr direct OTT deal However, the makers turned down the deal since the film is made for the audience to enjoy on big screens, and they feel that the film's expectations will never go down due to the delay. ## Valimai is Boney Kapoor’s second collaboration with Ajith Kumar and director H Vinoth, after Nerkonda Paarvai, which was the Tamil remake of Bollywood film Pink. Chennai, December 31 - The anticipation for Ajith Kumar's upcoming Tamil action thriller "Valimai" is sky-high among the fans and industry people. The H Vinoth's directorial, which kicked off in 2019, has been through many challenges posed by the covid-19 pandemic, and finally, it is all set to hit the screens on January 13, 2022, in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. ## The original Tamil trailer of "Valimai" was launched on December 30 and it was very well received by one and all. The 3 minutes long glimpses promised the movie to be one of the biggest actioners of the year. The trailer clocked over 11 million views (11.16M) in the first 24-hours, making it the 3rd most viewed Tamil trailer during 24-hours. ## Thalapathy Vijay's "Bigil" is the most-watched Tamil trailer of all time with 18.3 million views in the first 24-hours, followed Ajith Kumar's "Viswasam" at the second number with 12.7 million views. Meanwhile "Valimai" trailer becomes the second most liked South Indian trailer with 1.32 million likes.
