But before commencing the shoot of Bhediya, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon met the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh with their team on Wednesday.
Before getting their film on floors, the entire team of Bhediya met Pema Khandu, chief minister of the state. Minister of home and interstate affairs, Bamang Felix, chief secretary Naresh Kumar, Commissioner to HCM, Sonam Chombey, were also present during the meeting.
The official Twitter handle of CM shared pictures of their meeting and wrote, "Pleased to meet Bollywood Star Shri @Varun_dvn Ji & @kritisanon Ji and their team during their call on. They are in Arunachal to shoot for the movie #BHEDIYA. Happy to know they are enjoying their time here and are keen on promoting #Arunachal as popular film destination".
Bhediya marks the second collaboration of Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon after the 2015 movie, Dilwale. This film also brings together the dynamic duo of producer Dinesh Vijan and director Amar Kaushik, who also helmed the 2018 blockbuster movie Stree.
Bhediya also stars Abhishek Banerjee and Deepak Dobriyal in key roles. It is scheduled to release on April 14, 2022.
