Mumbai, August 22 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is gearing up for the release of his next film, a survival thriller "Mission Raniganj" which is based on the true events. The movie is directed by Tinnu Suresh Desai and produced by Pooja Entertainment.

Mission Raniganj is scheduled to release on October 6, 2023, in theaters worldwide.
Mission Raniganj Plot
The film is based on a mining engineer Jaswant Singh Gill who is a brave, honest, and diligent mining engineer, and Amar Joshi, a brave, honest, and diligent police inspector who rescued 64 miners at the Raniganj Coalfields in 1989.
