The growth is not huge or anywhere close to it but there is some upward trend in many multiplexes and that is enough in the circumstances that the industry is in today.
As per the early estimates, the first Saturday collections should be around 7.5 crores net. This will take the first two days' collections to a little over the 14.50cr net mark which is less than the opening day collections of the first part of this film that was released way back in 2014.
The Sunday is set for further growth but the growth is unlikely to be huge, hopefully, some mass centers should record good footfalls to ensure a good weekend at the box office compared to the last few weekends.
The first weekend collections would be around 25cr (+/-) which is a decent result for not so popular star cast film. Ek Villain Returns will have a decent run at the box office till Laal Singh Chaddha and Rakhabandhan arrive.
