Wrestling Legend Bull Nakano To Be Inducted Into WWE Hall of Fame
Bull Nakano, a pioneer in women's wrestling, will be enshrined in the WWE Hall of Fame this year. The news was announced by ESPN on Wednesday morning.## Nakano, considered one of the greatest female wrestlers of all time, began her career in Japan in the 1980s, rising to become a top draw for All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling. In the 1990s, she expanded her reach to Mexico, capturing the CMLL World Women's Championship in 1992.## Fans may remember her memorable feud with Alundra Blayze (also known as Madusa) in WWE. During this period, Nakano won the Women's Title at the Tokyo Dome in 1994, a rare title defense outside the United States. However, she would lose the title back to Blayze the following year.## Nakano also had a brief stint in WCW during the 1990s, notably participating in the WCW and New Japan Pro-Wrestling co-promoted shows in North Korea, which drew record-breaking crowds. She retired from wrestling in 1997.## Nakano becomes the second inductee revealed for this year's Hall of Fame ceremony, which takes place in Philadelphia on April 5th, following SmackDown on WrestleMania weekend.
