WrestleMania 2, held on April 7, 1986, shattered tradition in more ways than one. Unlike its predecessor and future installments, this unique event wasn't confined to a single location. Instead, wrestling fans in three cities – Uniondale, New York, Rosemont, Illinois, and Los Angeles, California – witnessed a spectacle spread across three venues simultaneously.

Each venue boasted a stacked card featuring four exciting matches, bringing the total to a whopping 12 bouts for WrestleMania 2. The main event in Uniondale wasn't your typical wrestling clash. It was a highly anticipated boxing match between pop-culture icon Mr. T and the outspoken "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.

Meanwhile, in Chicago, the energy crackled as WWF Tag Team Champions The Dream Team defended their titles against the high-flying British Bulldogs. But the biggest fight of the night arguably went down in Los Angeles. There, the legendary Hulk Hogan, the WWF World Heavyweight Champion, stepped into a steel cage to battle the monstrous King Kong Bundy in a brutal showdown.

WrestleMania 2 wasn't just about headline grabbers. The undercard in Uniondale also saw "Macho Man" Randy Savage retain his Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship against the unpredictable George "The Animal" Steele. In Chicago, a 20-man battle royal featuring both WWF wr

estlers and National Football League players added a layer of unpredictability to the event.

In a regrettable move, Orndorff directed a disrespectful gesture towards his manager Mr. Fuji. This action, widely considered offensive, has since been edited out of most commercially available versions of the match.
