Despite Jey Uso putting up a strong fight on his way to the Tribal Combat against the formidable WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at SummerSlam, The Head of the Table and Solo Sikoa completely dominated him with a ruthless assault immediately following his win over Grayson Waller.

Moreover, Santos Escobar emerged victorious in the United States Invitational after the match was halted due to an injury sustained by Rey Mysterio. According to a report from Spoiler TV on Saturday, July 29, the latest episode of WWE SmackDown attracted 2.166 million viewers in the preliminary viewership.

Both hours of the show averaged 2.166 million viewers, which marks an increase compared to the 2.158 million viewers it had on July 14, the last time it aired on FOX, in preliminary viewership. The final viewership total for the July 14 episode rose to 2.309 million viewers.

In terms of ratings, the show received a 0.54 rating across both hours, matching the preliminary rating for the July 14 airing on FOX. However, the July 14 rating saw a rise to 0.62 in the end. WWE SmackDown secured the top spot among network television shows on that night.

On July 21, the show was broadcasted on FS1 and achieved its highest viewership on the cable network yet, with 1.182 million viewers in the preliminary viewership and 1.230 million viewers in the final viewership. In the key 18-49 demographic, the show recorded a 0.36 rating. Once again, WWE SmackDown dominated network television on that particular night.
