Boston, September 7 - Here are the full results for this Friday's SmackDown which is scheduled to air live on September 8, 2023, live from TD Garden in Boston, MA.

Friday Night SmackDown currently airs live every Friday on Fox from 8:00 ET–10:00 PM ET in the United States. WWE SmackDown starts live at 1 am in the UK on BT Sport 1 on Saturday mornings.



WWE SmackDown Time In Australia: It airs live on at 10 am (AEST) on Fox8

WWE SmackDown Time In Canada: It airs live every Friday at 8 Am on Sportsnet 360

WWE SmackDown Time In South Africa: The show also airs live on Supersport in South Africa on Saturday at 02:00 am CAT



SmackDown Time In Italy: In Italy, SmackDown airs on DMAX at 2:00 pm with the international version of one-hour shows airing on Cielo in Italian

SmackDown airs live on Sony Ten 1 HD and Sony Ten 1 in India at 5:30 am. SmackDown airs live on Fox Sports in Mexico and across Central and South America since 2014.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown, September 8, 2023 Play-By-Play Results

-We are kicking things off with the royalty and it's Charlotte Flair. She will team up with Shotzi to take on Damage CTRL.



Charlotte Flair and Shotzi Vs. Damage CTRL (WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY and Bayley)

Starting with Bayley and Charlotte, Bayley pushes Flair, but Flair pushes her down and goes after IYO with a punch. Flair keeps attacking Bayley, and IYO joins in from behind. Meanwhile, Shotzi also gets in on the action. Charlotte Flair takes Bayley to the floor, and they continue to fight there. Meanwhile, IYO goes to the ropes and does a cool Moonsault to take them down.

We're back from the commercial break, and now it's IYO and Shotzi doing the fighting. IYO tags in Bayley, and they both team up to land some Superkicks. Bayley tries to pin Shotzi but doesn't succeed. Bayley takes Shotzi into the corner and keeps hitting her there. Meanwhile, Charlotte Flair is gaining some momentum.

Shotzi manages to kick Bayley in the neck and finally makes the tag to Flair. Flair does a Crossbody on Bayley and IYO, who also gets involved in the fight. Flair does a Fallaway Slam on Bayley and then takes her out with a Clothesline. IYO joins the fray, but she also gets taken down.

Bayley looks surprised as she locks Flair into an inside cradle. Flair manages to escape and puts Bayley in a submission hold, but out of nowhere, IYO hits Flair with a Minora. IYO then takes Flair to the top turnbuckle and brings her down with a Frankensteiner.

Meanwhile, Asuka arrives on the scene and deals with Dakota, grabbing the title. Flair seizes the opportunity and eliminates Bayley with a strong Boot, sending her tumbling off the turnbuckle. Flair also removes IYO from the apron. Shotzi takes charge, delivering a Fisherman's DDT to secure the victory.

WINNER: Charlotte Flair & Shotzi

Next, we shift our focus to The Bloodline storyline. In the backstage area, Paul Heyman and Jimmy Uso are having a discussion. Jimmy is sporting The Bloodline T-shirt and he's telling Heyman that he's ready to go. However, Heyman tries to make it clear that he can't grant him access until The Tribal Chief gives the word.

Heyman advises Jimmy Uso to handle tonight's business with AJ Styles while he takes care of his matters with Roman Reigns. Heyman departs from the scene and as he walks a little further, he encounters Styles. Heyman says something to AJ Styles that prompts Styles to grip his lapel. Out of nowhere, Jimmy Uso swiftly takes down AJ Styles.

-We come back to the ring and it's fan-favorite LA Knight making his way out to the ring.

Knight is in the ring and he talks about his match against The Miz with John Cena playing the special guest referee for the match. Knight says he didn't ask for John Cena and he didn't need John Cena. He says he doesn't need Cena's endorsement.

Grayson Waller's music hits and he is there. He brings out Austin Theory, and Knight throws up a proposal for a match against Theory. The challenge is accepted and the match is happening next.



Singles Match: LA Knight vs Austin Theory

Theory starts with a side headlock and shoulder tackle. They repeat it. Knight counters with an uppercut and a swinging neckbreaker. Theory avoids Knight's slam, chokes him in the corner, and lands a suplex, but gets a near fall. Knight slams Theory into the announce table briefly, then Theory counters an Irish whip, sending Knight onto the top rope, and hits a hanging neckbreaker off the apron.

Back from the break...and the crowd is going crazy, Knight with a punch and follows up a Clothesline to take Theory down. Knight takes him into the corner and pummels there. Theory advances with a knee attack, Theory with a massive Rollins Blockbuster for the cover, but does get the win. Knight sends Theory off the ropes, both superstars are outside. Theory with a Vertical Suplex on the floor and it hurts Knight. Meanwhile, we see Waller pull off the turnbuckle, but that's all, nothing affects Knight. He goes for a BFT on Austin for the cover and wins the match.



WINNER: LA Knight

Following the match, Waller goes for an attack on Knight, but Knight sees it coming. Seeing this Waller rolls out of the ring.

AJ is in the back with Cathy Kelley. Styles talks about issues with Jimmy Uso, AJ says he is standing and if he is standing, he can fight.

The Brawling Brutes Vs The Judgment Day

Before we could start the match, The Brawling Brutes and The Judgment Day get into a brawle. The Brawling Brutes are able to take The Judgment Day out of the ring. Back from the back and the match starts off with Priest and Butch. Priest with a Forearm sending Butch to the mat, Finn gets it, while on the other side Ridge makes his way into the ring. Ridge goes for a Delayed Butterfly Suplex and that's massive. The matchup looks so interesting with Dom getting involved and you know the crowd doesn't like him at all, so the boos are here. Buth goes for a Shining Wizard to Finn Balor and goes up to the top for a Monsault to take out Priest and Finn.



Priest goes for a Forearm, but Ridge blocks it and lands an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. The Brawling Brutes was very near to clinch a win after landing that double team move, but Priest with a Cyclone kick on Butch for the cover and wins the match. WINNERS: Finn Balor and Damian Priest

Following the match, the music hits and it's Bobby Lashley making making way out with his buddies Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins. They are into the ring and Lashley confronts Priest. Lashley goes close and says The Bloodline is crumbling but THE Judgment Day is not taking over...It is going to be them.

Singles Match: AJ Styles vs. Jimmy Uso

Both superstars are in the ring, The bell rings and Jimmy goes for a Superkick, but Styles avoids it and takes him down with a kick on his legs, Uso gets out of the ring to feel some relaxation. Styles once again gain the control. Styles with a kick to the back of the neck of Jimmy. The referee is checking on Jimmy. Meanwhile, Styles with a kick to the face and he rolls out of the ring, The referee is trying to stop Styles.

Jimmy gets back into the ring and lands a left hand to the chin of Styles. Jimmy Uso once again rolls out of the ring. Meanwhile, Styles with a Basement kick to take him down. Styles gets on the apron, but Jimmy with a Superkick to take him down. Styles still hangs on the apron. Meanwhile, Solo along with Paul Heyman appears there.

Jimmy throws up a smile and sends Styles head-first into the ring steps, We go to the commercial break. We are back and Jimmy drops Styles over the head, Styles is down in the corner, and Jimmy lands some punches and goes for a ring-shaking impact. Jimmy goes for the cover, but Styles kicks out right there. Styles tries to gain the power, but Jimmy drops Styles to the mat.

Both men trade punches, with Jimmy landing a kick to the back. Meanwhile, Styles responds with a Pele kick that brings Jimmy down. Styles quickly regains control and tosses Jimmy out of the ring. Styles hits Jimmy with a forearm off the ropes. He then sends Jimmy back into the ring and gets ready for a Phenomenal Forearm, but Jimmy manages to avoid it. Styles counters with a backbreaker and goes for the cover, but Jimmy kicks out.

Jimmy retaliates with some punches and goes for a cover, but it's only a near fall. He follows up with a headbutt, while Styles executes a DDT from the top rope for another cover, but Jimmy kicks out.

Styles heads to the apron, but Jimmy delivers a massive Superkick while Styles was distracted by Solo and Heyman at ringside. Styles is sent to the floor, and Solo approaches Styles, but Jimmy also joins in. Styles fights back, taking down Solo. Styles then gets Jimmy back into the ring and finishes the match with a Phenomenal Forearm for the cover and the victory.

WINNER: AJ Styles

After the match, Solo enters the ring, but Styles rolls out. Out of nowhere, Priest attacked Styles when he was making his way out of the arena, Finn Balor also joined there and they sent Styles back into the ring only to be handled by Solo. Solo with a Samoa Spike on Styles.
