WWE Friday Night SmackDown, November 24, 2023 Play-By-Play Results

Last week, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Shotzi, and Bianca Belair hyped up their Women's War Games match. Bayley interrupted, warning about egos and calling Becky "soft" due to motherhood. Becky challenged any two from Bayley's team for the main event.

This week, Bayley, with KaiEnFive, accepted the challenge. Asuka asserted their team's readiness for War Games, expressing that no one is ready for them. The stage is set for an explosive showdown at the upcoming event.

WWE Men's Tag Team Championship: Finn Balor and Damian Priest (with Rhea Ripley) vs Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford

Dawkins and Priest start strong, but Ford and Finn tag in. Ford takes a beating, including a POUNCE over the announce table by Priest. After the break, Ford fights back, hitting a blockbuster and Revelation. However, Finn and Priest secure the win with a Coup de Grace and tombstone slam. Rhea's distraction plays a crucial role.

WINNER: Damian Priest and Finn Balor

After the match, Rhea taunts Ford. Becky, Shotzi, Bianca, and Charlotte discuss their tag match. A disagreement arises between Becky and Charlotte over leadership. Charlotte reveals she wanted a plan like Bayley's, causing tension. Dragon Lee video package highlights his lucha libre lineage.

The "Grayson Waller Effect" features a confusing moment with Austin Theory impersonating Kevin Owens. Real Kevin Owens arrives, and chaos ensues with LA Knight, leading to prop throwing. The show revisits last week's Smackdown with Solo Sikoa, Jimmy Uso, and Paul Heyman.

Kevin Owens and LA Knight vs Grayson Waller and Austin Theory

In a joined match, Waller tags in, urging Knight to join. Owens chops Waller, and Knight enters, delivering punches and a suplex. Waller and Theory attempt a double-team, but Knight fights back, clotheslining both. Knight takes Waller down with an elbow, but Theory's interference allows Waller to clothesline Knight. Commercial break follows. Waller chokes Knight in the ropes, Theory distracts. Waller tags in, punches Knight, who counters. Owens enters, hits a superkick and a swanton for a near fall. Waller tags back, hits a backbreaker and a springboard elbow drop. Owens fights back, but Waller prevents the tag. Waller with a knee, Owens kicks back. Theory tags, hits a rolling blockbuster. Owens fights back, tags in Knight. Knight dominates, hits YEAHple's Elbow on Theory. Owens delivers a stunner to Waller, while Knight finishes Theory with a BFT for the win.

Bianca advises Becky to put differences aside with Charlotte for War Games. Carlito returns, expressing anger over Santos Escobar's actions against Rey Mysterio. Santos confronts Carlito in the ring, accusing him of disrupting the LWO family. A brawl ensues, and Santos later attacks Carlito backstage. Dragon Lee intervenes, defending Carlito.

Elton Prince and Kit Wilson vs. Ridge Holland and Butch

Ridge starts the match with strong moves on Kit and Elton. Butch tags in, but Ridge walks out when Butch tries to tag him. Butch fights alone, hitting impactful moves. However, a miscommunication allows Kit to make a blind tag. Butch hits Bitter End, but Kit, the legal man, surprises him with a crucifix for the win.

In the locker room, Shotzi tells Charlotte not to forget the impact of her words during her bullying ordeal. Carlito is injured, and Dragon Lee steps up to face Santos Escobar tomorrow night. The Judgment Day Clubhouse Smackdown edition members discuss their dominance, addressing concerns about Randy Orton's potential return. Charlotte and Becky affirm they are "good" and ready for their challenges.

Bayley and Asuka (with Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky, and Kairi Sane) vs Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch (with Bianca Belair and Shotzi)

Becky and Bayley kicked off the match, with Becky sending Bayley into the turnbuckles. Charlotte then tagged in, showcasing her agility with a moonsault. After the commercial break, Bayley gained control, preventing Becky from tagging in. Asuka joined the action, focusing on Becky's arm.

Charlotte's return saw her executing impressive moves, but a miscommunication led to an argument with Becky. Bayley capitalized, rolling up Becky for the win after Charlotte inadvertently landed on her during a spear aimed at Asuka.
