Here are the full results for this Friday's SmackDown which is scheduled to air live on December 15, 2023, at the Resch Center in Green Bay, WI.

Friday Night SmackDown currently airs live every Friday on Fox from 8:00 ET–10:00 PM ET in the United States. WWE SmackDown starts live at 1 am in the UK on BT Sport 1 on Saturday mornings.

Roman Reigns makes his entrance, flanked by Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa, and Paul Heyman. Roman grabs the mic, commanding Green Bay to acknowledge him. He boasts about being a fair tribal chief and announces that it's promotion season. He praises a man who has sacrificed everything for the family and declares that if anything happens to him, this man is the next in line.

Jimmy eagerly anticipates being mentioned, but Roman surprises everyone by pointing to Solo Sikoa as the heir to the Tribal Chief. Roman embraces Solo, leaving Jimmy awkwardly standing without a hug. The crowd chants for Randy Orton, but Roman clarifies that the celebration is about Solo, not Randy.

As Roman speaks, Randy Orton's music hits, and he makes his way to the ring per wrestling rules.

After the commercial break, Randy is in the ring, stating that for 18 months, he's contemplated this moment. He declares that he's coming for Roman and will take everything from him. Randy challenges Roman for the WWE Championship, emphasizing that it starts tonight and ends at the Royal Rumble.

Roman dismisses Randy, claiming he hasn't thought about him for 18 months. He asserts that Randy hasn't earned anything and orders him to go to the back of the line. Roman taunts Randy about living in the past and warns that if they have another match, it won't take 18 months but will result in retirement.

Randy acknowledges Roman's evolution but insists he's a Legend Killer and attempts an RKO. Solo Sikoa intervenes, saving Roman. Randy suggests that Roman may have "crapped his pants" and declares that "Daddy's back."

The scene shifts to a video package featuring Carmelo Hayes, and then we head to a commercial break. After the break, Logan Paul disparages Grayson Waller, claiming that facing Carmelo Hayes is a waste of Waller's time and predicts that Hayes' family will only see him in the ring this one time.

First Round Number One Contender Tournament Match: Carmelo Hayes vs. Grayson Waller



They engage in a lock-up, and Waller seizes a side headlock. Hayes skillfully reverses the hold, flipping over Waller's back and dodging a clothesline to deliver a sharp dropkick. Maintaining control, Hayes applies a wrist lock and forces Waller back to the mat. Waller retaliates with a jab, but Hayes counters with a back elbow, followed by a forearm.

Waller misses a chop, and Hayes responds with a series of chops as Waller evades around the ring. Blocking an Irish whip, Waller kicks Hayes. Attempting a suplex, Waller faces resistance as Hayes counters with an inside cradle, earning a near fall. Waller retaliates with a side kick and applies a cravat, delivering knees to Hayes's head. Despite an Irish whip from Waller, Hayes manages to block a powerbomb with a head scissors. Utilizing the ropes, Hayes delivers a kick and executes a Fadeaway, sending Waller to the floor. Following a commercial break, Waller applies a cravat, with footage showing a double stomp to the back of Hayes's neck during the break.

Hayes misses a springboard double stomp, landing awkwardly and limping. Waller capitalizes with a slingshot rolling flatliner, securing a near fall. A kick from Waller is countered by Hayes, who retaliates with a series of chops and forearms. Hayes takes control with an Irish whip and a forearm in the corner, followed by La Mistica for a near fall. Heading to the turnbuckles, Hayes is pulled off by Waller, causing him to hit his head on the turnbuckles. Waller executes a flip Playmaker off the turnbuckles for another near fall.

Waller attempts to set up Hayes on his shoulders, but Hayes counters by getting on Waller's shoulders for a victory roll and a near fall. Hayes lands a thrust kick and a springboard DDT for another close near fall. Waller drops Hayes on the top rope, prompting Hayes to hit a Codebreaker to thwart a slingshot rolling move from Waller. Hayes concludes the match with "Nothing but Net," securing the three-count victory.

WINNER: Carmelo Hayes

Randy Orton strides through the backstage area and encounters LA Knight. Randy makes it clear that he doesn't require Knight's assistance. Knight acknowledges that Randy doesn't need his help but reminds him that he played a role in Randy signing his contract with Smackdown. Randy acknowledges their success from the previous week and advises Knight to keep his distance. Knight asserts that he's the one who will be stripping Roman Reigns of everything.

Logan Paul expresses curiosity about the match between Austin Theory and Kevin Owens. He remarks that Kevin dresses like a fifth-grader who takes dodgeball way too seriously.

First Round Number One Contender Tournament Match: Kevin Owens vs. Austin Theory



They initiate a lock-up, and Owens gains control with a side headlock, maintaining his grip when Theory attempts to send him off the ropes. Owens executes a shoulder tackle, resulting in a near fall. He transitions into an armbar, but Theory counters with punches and targets Owens' injured hand. Owens surprises Theory with a rollup, securing a near fall. Theory responds with forearms in the corner, but Owens counters with a back elbow and a back senton.

Owens attempts a cannonball, but he halts when he sees Theory move to the floor. The two grapple on the apron, with Theory setting up for a suplex. Owens thwarts the attempt with headbutts and kicks Theory off the apron. Owens follows up with a cannonball to Theory. After sending Theory back into the ring, Owens ascends the ropes. However, Theory rolls to the apron, and as Owens is dropped onto the top rope, Theory executes a slingshot rolling dropkick.

The action continues on the apron, with Theory and Owens exchanging blows. Theory manages to deliver a brainbuster on the apron just before the broadcast heads to a commercial break.

As the broadcast resumes, Theory positions himself for a superplex, but Owens counters, sending Theory to the mat with a headbutt. Owens follows up with a frog splash, though he struggles to cover immediately due to landing on his wrist. Despite this, Owens secures a near fall. Owens ascends the ropes once again, attempting a swanton, but Theory cleverly gets his knees up, earning another near fall. Theory then proceeds to stomp on Owens' chest.

Owens responds with a kick, a headbutt, and a series of kicks to Theory. He follows up with a kick and a flying shoulder tackle. Owens executes a reverse atomic drop and a DDT for a near fall. While Owens can't manage a pop-up powerbomb, he connects with a superkick for another close near fall. Owens runs into a boot, but Theory runs into Owens' boot. Theory attempts Lo Mein Pain, securing a near fall. He gets Owens up and places him on the turnbuckles, setting up for a superplex. However, Owens counters with a fisherman's buster off the turnbuckles, sending Theory rolling to the floor.

Theory drops Owens onto the ringside barrier and punches him into the timekeeper's area. The referee begins the count, and Owens manages to power up and beat it. Theory lands a punch and a rolling blockbuster, earning a near fall. Attempting another superplex, Owens goes under and crotches Theory, leaving him in the tree of woe. Owens follows up with a cannonball to Theory in the turnbuckles, succeeded by a swanton for another near fall.

Owens aims for a kick, but Theory blocks the stunner. Instead, Theory kicks Owens in the hand and slams it into the ring steps. Theory proceeds to stomp on Owens' hand on the steps. Owens pushes Theory away, hits him with a forearm, and secures the three-count victory.

WINNER: Kevin Owens

Roman expresses frustration that Randy Orton ruined Solo's celebration, emphasizing the need to silence Randy. Jimmy offers to handle it, but Roman insists it should be done by the Tribal Heir. Roman highlights the significance of promotion season and envisions the impact if he defeats Orton.

Jimmy interjects with the word 'Yeet,' prompting Roman to sternly reject it, declaring "no yeet." The broadcast then goes to commercial.

In a separate segment, Karrion Kross addresses urgent world events, claiming that everything is about to crumble, and a new beginning is imminent. He ominously hints at the impending changes and urges viewers to see it unfold.

Kevin Owens is backstage, and Cameron Grimes praises his performance against Austin Theory. Kevin Patrick stops Owens for an interview, congratulating him on his victory and bringing up his upcoming match against Carmelo Hayes. Owens reflects on his debut against John Cena a decade ago and is interrupted by Hayes, who expresses respect and assures Owens that he won't be punched in the face like Waller or Theory.

Kevin Patrick then mentions Charlotte's 9-month absence due to a knee injury. Bayley, alongside Iyo, discusses Damage CTRL's dominance and the potential of the Kabuki Warriors winning tag titles. Bayley claims credit for helping Asuka defeat the fourteen-time champions and declares her intention to enter and win the Royal Rumble, defeating Rhea Ripley for her title. Dakota Kai adds that it's time for them to have all the gold, raising the bar and changing the game.

Asuka and Kairi Sane (with Dakota Kai) vs. Zelina Vega and Mia Yim



Zelina and Mia launch a sneak attack on Kairi and Asuka from behind in the aisle, leading to a break.

The match resumes with Asuka knocking Mia off the apron, allowing Kairi to deliver a clothesline. Mia is sent back into the ring, and Asuka tags in Kairi. Asuka executes a kick, followed by Kairi's kick. Asuka adds a bulldog, and Kairi contributes with a dropkick. Kairi follows up with a sliding D in the corner and ascends to the top rope, connecting with a forearm for a near fall. Asuka is tagged back in, landing kicks in the midsection. The duo performs a double slam, with Asuka delivering a sliding clothesline and Kairi adding a kick to the back. Asuka locks in an armbar, pulling Mia to the mat by her hair and securing a near fall. Asuka delivers slaps, but Mia counters with a backslide for a near fall. Mia attempts a suplex, but Asuka blocks it. Mia counters with a suplex of her own.

Kairi tags in and prevents Mia from making the tag. Mia responds with a kick, and Zelina tags in, connecting with clotheslines and a wrist lock takedown. Zelina kicks Kairi and sends her to the mat, following up with a running knee for a near fall. Zelina executes a hammerlock DDT but misses a 619. Kairi counters with a back fist. Asuka tags in, pouncing and applying the Asuka Lock. Zelina leans back for a near fall. Mia tags in, and both competitors miss kicks. Mia lands a kick and a sit-out package spinebuster for a near fall. Kairi pulls Zelina to the floor, delivering an Alabama Slam on the announce table. Mia kicks Kairi off the apron, goes for Sole Food, but Asuka escapes. Mia hits a Pele Kick, goes up top, and Dakota gets on the apron. Bayley intervenes, pushing Mia off the turnbuckles. Asuka capitalizes with a round kick, and Kairi tags in, hitting the elbow drop for the three count.

WINNER: Kairi Sane and Asuka

Jimmy and Solo discuss Paul and Roman's extended conversation, expressing a sense of unease. Jimmy suspects a setup and questions Solo about whether he would inform him if something were to happen. Solo reassures Jimmy, emphasizing their brotherly bond before the broadcast goes to commercial.

In a separate segment, Santos Escobar reflects on his desire to reclaim the US Title, which he claims was taken by Rey Mysterio. He vows to defeat Bobby Lashley, disregarding Bobby's focus on appearance. Escobar predicts that after their match, Bobby will not want to show his face on Smackdown, declaring himself the new United States Champion.

Randy Orton vs. Jimmy Uso

Orton lands a kick, sending Jimmy into the turnbuckles. Randy follows up with punches and attempts the IEDDT, but Jimmy evades and calls for a timeout. The broadcast goes to commercial.

Upon return, Jimmy pleads for mercy and requests another timeout after Orton executes a back drop driver onto the announce table. Orton delivers another back drop driver, securing a near fall upon returning to the ring. Orton applies an armbar, and Jimmy runs into an uppercut. Orton ascends the turnbuckles to deliver punches, causing Jimmy to fall in the corner after the ten punches. Orton proceeds with the Garvin Stomp and chokes Jimmy in the ropes. Jimmy retaliates with a kick, but Orton blocks another. Jimmy executes a dragon whip and follows up with kicks, concluding with a running hip into the corner for a near fall.

Jimmy resorts to choking Orton in the ropes and raking at his eyes. Climbing the turnbuckles, Jimmy delivers punches, but Orton halts the finale with a thumb to the eye. Orton sets up for the IEDDT, but Jimmy hits a back drop that sends Orton to the floor, where he holds his knee. The broadcast goes to another commercial break.

As the show returns, Orton delivers two clotheslines and avoids a clothesline from Jimmy. However, Jimmy anticipates Orton's power slam, holding onto the ropes, causing Orton to go down. Despite this, Orton manages to hit a power slam. Jimmy drops Randy on the top rope, but Orton sets up for the IEDDT and successfully executes it. Orton looks around, twisting to set up for the RKO.

Solo Sikoa's music hits, distracting Randy. Before Solo can reach the ring, LA Knight's music plays, and he halts Solo's advance. Orton seizes the opportunity and hits an RKO on Jimmy for the three-count victory.

WINNER: Randy Orton

After the match, Knight heads towards the ring, but Roman Reigns attacks him from behind. Roman locks eyes with Randy, and Paul Heyman appears behind Roman, proudly displaying the title belt. 3# Roman enters the ring, and a brawl ensues between Randy and Roman. Jimmy strikes Roman from behind, allowing Roman to lock in a guillotine on Randy while Jimmy delivers kicks. Knight rushes in, attacking Roman with punches and kicks. However, Solo Sikoa intervenes, kicking Knight and pummeling him. Solo punches Knight while Roman continues to assault Randy.# Suddenly, AJ Styles' music hits, and he emerges from the crowd, making his way to the ring. AJ delivers a Phenomenal Forearm to Roman and an enzuigiri to Solo. Knight takes care of Jimmy, and AJ, Randy, and Knight stand united in the ring.

In a surprising turn, AJ clotheslines Knight, leaving everyone in shock. AJ then walks past the Bloodline to the back, leaving the trio of Roman, Jimmy, and Solo bewildered in the ring.
